After November 16, the government may require travelers and citizens to have the vaccination card for face-to-face events, bars, cinemas, churches, amusement parks, and discos.

Is this old news for you guys with boots on the ground there? I have not been following the thread diligently. The article definitely states this applies to everyone but goes into some details regarding international visitors to Medellin.

"For international travelers and Colombians vaccinated overseas, the President said, "The card that the person has can be verified and can be included in the electronic system. We urge them to regularize their situation by asking IPS to certify their vaccine so that they have their electronic card ".

Therefore, overseas travelers may require electronic proof of their vaccination to enter many indoor and outdoor activities in Colombia.

I personaly do not know what "IPS" is.

I am not sure. A majority of Colombian girls there have moved to Poblado already. Most of the girls are Venezuelans.

I am curious how the Colombian government is going to be able to electronically verify foreigners being vaccinated until there is a system put in place by WHO, like for the Yellow Fever Shot worldwide.

I'm sure it's on the horizon.
