Last Day in DR report
Last day in DR, flight was supposed to be 13:30 but delayed for an hour.
What's a better way to spend that extra hour than to visit a casa? Told my driver to make a detour over to Pink Pony.
Very nondescript, unmarked building.
Walked in, very unenthusiastic reception from the 4 or 5 chicas there. Looked like they'd rather be doing something else. Only 1 came to say Hi, but she was not to my liking. Saw another one I liked, and grabbed her.
Said she's from Santiago, easily an 8 for face and body. She wanted 1500 pesos for half an hour. I countered 1000, but she stood firm.
Quick slam bam (refused BBBJ) and was out of there.
So that brought my DR trip to a conclusion. Thanks to all the vets on this board who provided useful intel!
Good stuff! I didn't know that Accor owned the Nicholas Ovando Hotel.
By the way, is the parking garage on Duarte, north or south of El Conde? Also, do you know if they have daily or weekly rates?
Thanks,
Helpmann
There are two parking lot places on Calle Duarte just south of el conde. One building is next door to the hotel roma (see attached photo). The other place is across the street from that garage, for that one you drive up a ramp and the parking area is on the roof. The roof top parking is free if you buy something from the department store California which is on the corner of el conde and duarte.
I didn't enter the gated garage next door to the hotel roma, so I don't know their prices.
Just north of el conde on calle duarte is the hotel palacio. On one corner of duarte and el conde is a jumbo express supermarket which has good prices for chips, soda, beer and bottles of liquor.
The edificio read building with apartment rentals starting at $35 per night is on calle duarte one block south of el conde. Supposedly there is also another nice short term apartment for rent on calle duarte, south of el conde, but I am not sure which building that apartment is located in. Further south on duarte is the hotel el beaterio and next door to the el beaterio is another hotel which did not look expensive. Hotel Mercure is one block east of calle duarte on el conde.
One small hotel that I inquired about in zona colonial told me there was secure parking nearby for around 100 pesos per night.
Ferreteria is hardware store, some sell appliances.
It was 17. 00.
I know things are different from the USA but I was always under the impression that outside the inclusive resorts that 2 person means no more than two people in the room which is what we were told by someone at the Mecure and I wished I would have wrote his name down. I asked him if I had different chicas is there a charge if I take the 2 person rate which came up to 68 instead of the 58 if you took the single rate. Well he said as long as you do not take more than one chica at a time up to the room than no charge (no more than 1 guest in room at one time) , but if I wanted to take 2 chicas up with me than there would be a extra person charge because there would be 3 people in room. So I said fine and than told my buddies that and everyone was fine so no one expected any extra chica charges.
Hotels in Santo Domingo that are owned by big companies seem to nickel and dime and overcharge for everything (ie; $5US for a cup of coffee at the hilton, $6US for a 4inch can of pringles at the Intercontinental V Centenario, $20US or more per day for internet at the Jaragua). If they could get away with it, they would try and charge for the air you breathe at their hotels, LOL.
I have found that in most smaller hotels that have their own air conditioning units in each room, usually work better than the central air conditioning that many large hotels have (hodelpa caribe in zona colonial has central air which did not make the room very cool, one room at the hotel palacio the central air did not cool that room). Smaller hotels like the Maison Gatreux and the Hotel Venezia with rooms that have individual air conditioning units made the rooms nice and cold if I desired it.
At some smaller hotels if a chica visits your single occupancy room for an hour or two there should be no extra chica fee. I have paid the double occupancy rate at some smaller hotels, when a chica checked in with me and she was going to stay overnight with me.
For 2000 pesos, plus the cost of drinks and some taxi money you had some fun with an 18 year old chica. Many of the Dominican chicas are like players and they have game LOL.
I have met a bunch of online chicas in DR and only one came out and said to me that she wanted 2000 pesos for sex. The other ones were circumspect in their requests for dinero (ie complaining about their finances). It always costs me some amount of money with most of them (buying drinks or giving them taxi money).
Many Dominican chicas will shop around for the best price taxi, they know how to conserve their money. Taxi prices are always more for foreigners unless a foreigner learns to shop around, the same way the locals do.
Before my trips I go to Marshalls or T. J. Maxx, discount stores and buy $10-$15 dollar name brand perfumes. Those same perfumes in DR are double the price or more. Some chicas get the perfume gift and maybe is why I have not been hit with the outright requests for dinero.
If an online chica asks me for more than I am willing to give, I will say I have no more money on me, I need to go to the bank tomorrow and that I will see her again, where I could give her something more. If a particular chica annoyed me with me a prissy, high maintenance type attitude, I won't see her again.
A few online chicas refused to take any money including taxi fare money. There are all types out there.
My last trip a Monger who was staying at the Jaguar was given a bit of a hard time when he tried to enter the Jaguar with a chica he took out of the Baby Dolls. I have never stayed at the Jaguar and I don't know the owner.
Thanks for your input. I like the idea of telling her that I don't have enough and will give her some tomorrow. I was totally willing to pay for the taxis, drinks etc. I just think she should have sprung the money question on me before I put it in. Or at least hint to it as you said, sick mom. Etc. I will chalk it up to a lesson learned. She gave a good performance and I really did enjoy the sex, I had a great time. It was the first online chica that I met up with and will be more receptive to the "pro" warning signs in the future. Do you have any experience with tell tale signs?
As for the Jaguar, the owner Rapheal was great, it was just the night guy who was a dick. I would definitely explore other options on my next trip.

I also took pictures of the cabana we went to, Plaza Quisqueya.
Thanks for the post.

Santo Domingo
I saw one older Dominican guy (about my age 50) sitting inside his new car in the parking area at plaza uris, he did not look happy, he must have been waiting for one his daughters who was in one of the bars, LOL. I visited those bars on a Friday and Saturday and the crowd was mostly 18-25 years old, nicely dressed.
Maybe you hooked up with a MILF who was there with her daughters, LOL.
Years ago I visited LED (now called Gotik) in the Hotel Hispaniola, on a Thursday night and it was mostly an older crowd. 40 and over. For an older guy like me, I may have a better chance of meeting "non-pro" type women in a place with an older crowd.
One of those bars in plaza uris, did not sell presidente beer, they had Miller beer. Miller and Corona somehow are seen as more of a premium type beer in Dom Rep.
I don't know if they were her daughters or not she didn't say and I did not ask. I have however developed a friendship with a lady with her daughters I met in Sept. at the Eagle Bar so I suppose it is possible it was the same at the Sinatra Bar. If one is so inclined as me there are a lot of older ladies looking for attention in SD.

I'm not trying to imply I'm a Mujeriego just that I have balls and keep working at it. Anyone of us can do it if you enjoy the chase.

I have only been to the bars in Plaza Uris twice, Friday and Saturday and it was mostly a young crowd, maybe other nights they get an older crowd.
Some of the older MILFs will treat you like a king (as an added bonus most have jobs and will not torture you for money, LOL).

Jaguar night guy
It is my impression that the guy wanted a tip to let you enter with the chica.
Boricua with out a doubt you are correct. Again I prefer straight forwardness. Just ask and maybe you'll receive. Anyway he was a dick the rest of the trip. Furthermore, it might cost his boss pesos in the future. I know I will consider other options not to deal with that again.

Day 2
damn this city is noisy! we wake up probably earlier than we should have and head to manolo for breakfast. after breakfast i turn to the dutchman who states,"it's past 12, let's get a beer." we walk east to el conde looking for a place to take in the sites and enjoy a few beers while contemplating how to spend the afternoon. after walking around we settle on a place on the north side of el conde about one block west of the mercure. it was a mix of cafe and a souvenir shop, but perfect for people watching. we get a good buzz going over the next 3-4 hours. i have about 10 numbers of online chicas that i have made plans with and i begin to get phone calls from them answering previous text messages that i had sent announcing my arrival. my mouth is still sour from the online chica experience from the night before and i make excuses to brush them off. i would just rather go to a casa and know what i am up against instead of venturing into the unknown again. besides the risk of my girl being too slow or too "pro", i also have to worry about if the prima, hermana, amiga, that she brings for the dutchman will be suitable. i leave tomorrow and i just want to enjoy myself. we plan to walk to baby dolls due to geography.
as we enter baby dolls it is empty. they ring a bell and a few girls trickle down. i start flirting with a chica who has a nice ass but a substantial scar on her forehead. she also smells a bit like a dirty [CodeWord132]. something tells me if the selection was greater i wouldn't even waste my time. the dutchman and i agree if the situation and selection doesn't get considerably better before we finish our beers that it is off to gbp again. time is of the essence and we had a good time the day before, so why not. nothing changes and it's off to the street to find a taxi to gbp.
we settle into gbp and the dutchman is considerably more comfortable being there than the day before. we see the usual chicas. except one? dutchman's chica who gave him excellent gfe and from what he described as one of the best fucks of his life, is nowhere to be found. we drink on and enjoy the little dances the girls do, clapping enthusiastically after each one. i settle on a fat ass'd negrita and start to work her while the dutchman connects again with his chica. we play a silly game where the girls whisper dominican slang into i and the dutchman's ear to tell to the opposing chica. they get a kick out of hearing the gringos exchanging purely dominican sayings back and forth. i only remember a few pieces of the words."what an ass!" translates into "que chupa" (spelling?). i am sure everyone knows "que lo que?" which is a greeting like "what's up?" then the rebut to this is something like "mansa" (again spelling. i was f'd up by this time). after playing around a bit, we both retire to a room with our chica and take care of business.
after, we head back to the jaguar for a nap to recoup. (to be cont)
Koki. I agree 100% I have been with girls in other parts of the DR and that has been my expierence in the past.
We will have to get together next time, I have a feeling I will be returning real soon.
One other thing, did the guy who works the door at night give you any shit? I did not like his attitude one bit.
No, I never had a problem but I have been there a couple dozen times. I always have the chicas give them a cedula except when it is a "nice" girl and then I just tell him that we don't need to do that cause she is my novia. Never had a problem. But usually it is Cecil (the smaller younger guy) or the older stocky one. Only recently has the new lighter skinned guy been working nights.
PM me when you have some dates as I am usually there every 2-3 weeks.

If the Jaguar has a worker who likes to break chops when certain Mongers enter with a chica, makes no sense to me how that jibes with their desire to be a good monger hotel.
