I hit all these clubs Tu Candela, Elektra, La Dolce Vida (LDV) mainly to check out the eye candy, have fun, enjoy, dance to the music. Most of these girls just seem way to hardcore (only looking for $$) , I'm quite sure they will be watching the clock, looking for a good tip and all business. Too mechanical for me. I have travelled ALL over Colombia numerous times and know the game very well. I'm a gringo yet half Colombian so speak perfect Spanish yet look very gringo. The best GEMS were girls I met simply tooling around and having fun. Playa Hollywood beach girls are getting very greedy and ones from Medellin in Cartagena even worse. Years back it was so layed back and relaxed. Things seem to have really changed and its all a big business. I don't know about you, but their is nothing worse then being with a girl thats only for you for your cash. I have found numerous GFE's Girl friend experiences all throughout Colombia, changes the whole dynamics of your trip. Their is nothing better then meeting Colombian woman who want to hang with you for simply being you, definetely more rewarding. I have met many woman in Colombia who once we meet, they are with me 24 hrs a day for weeks or months, a total GFE experience. The plus is you get to look into thier true lives, meet their friends, family, work environment, social scene, see other parts of Colombia you would not have darred to see by yourself or on your own. And even if they are travelling with you, you can always find an excuse to do stuff on your own and do some play on the side with other girls. Just leave them in your hotel / apartment with a nice TV. Ha ha ha.
LDV La Dolce Vita Club in El Laquito has great music, yet is it me or the girls looking and acting way too business like? Its like not fun anymore. I used to go inside and dance / chat with the girls and they loved it. Know its all hardcore business, I walk in and I have a girl asking me to buy her a RedBull. Cali girls I love, very sensual, warm, passionate and beautifull. Paisas from Medellin a bit more hard and business like yet I have met some beautifull GFE's in Medellin, yet when they are in Medellin way better anyway you look at it. Something about once they arrive to touristy gringo-ville / European envasion in Cartagena. Its all business. I'm not complaining because even know I find great GFE even in Cartagena, yet again I'm half Colombian / Gringo with fairly good looks and a great personality.
I guess my point is its NOT all about the money, its like back home in the USA I always see these single guys driving their brand new convertible BMW, Mercedes or other luxary experensive automobile, driving all alone and doing thier loops looking for woman thinking you can simply buy a women by showing off thier new ride. I find it sad and pathetic, I even saw one guy pull over, chat with this girl for like 30 min seriously thinking like she was going to simply get in his fancy car and go out with him? Obviously did not happen. Same goes for in Colombia, if you play it cool & straight the Colombian woman find your more attractive. Yes money will get you an attractive colombian girl for a short time, yet I find it as they say in Colombia."pasajero".

What ever happened to the sweet GFE's in Cartagena. I find them everywhere in Cali & Medellin. Well, I even found this in Cartagena, yet most of the girls I see are really getting simply profit / business oriented. First, in several of the malls, the clothing mannenquins all had much smaller breast than just a couple of years ago. Also, I saw a number of girls wearing shorts at the malls. Just little observations, but I did feel some change in these girls perceptions of the perfect body. I, too, vote for the "natural" beauty that is ubiquitous among the Paisa.
