American Politics
1200 measles cases in an entire year. The majority unvaccinated. Let's say maybe 200 of those cases were vaccinated.

What proportion of Americans are vaccinated against measles? This link - https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/measles.htm - would suggest it is around 90%.

So out of more than 300 million vaccinated Americans, 200 got measles. There is literally less than a one in a million chance of getting measles if you are vaccinated. I like those odds.

With covid, as we have seen from the studies in Israel and UK, the spread of the virus increased as vaccination went up. There is more chance of getting it now than there was before the "vaccine" went out. And it's a hell of a lot more than one in a million.

Oops.
You yourself said that the measles vaccine provided 100% effectiveness for life. Now, when you are proven wrong, you say "less than 1 in a million."

Well, darn. Is zero more or less than "one in a million"?

You absolutely, positively do NOT want to go to Mada. Ever. It is hard and expensive to get to. Nobody speaks English. The infrastructure sucks big time. Health care is nonexistent The roads are absolute shit. The airlines are notorious for cancellations and delays and everybody sees you as a walking ATM. Stay away, stay far away.
With covid, as we have seen from the studies in Israel and UK, the spread of the virus increased as vaccination went up. And it's a hell of a lot more than one in a million.Oops.
Spread increased due to the rise of variants not accounted for in the vaccines, yet effectiveness remained high against serious illness and death. The variants are being accounted for in booster shots, that soon will be widely available to all over 40 in the states, not sure of the timeline in Europe. But you are spreading false information by omission, as is typical from the fake right wingnut media.

As to all those under retirement age turning out fine, that's another lie as per CDC records posted here on many occasions. Though lower in numbers there have been large numbers of deaths of those under 65, especially among those who play machismo at home and wait way too long to seek help. Regeneron is a powerful weapon but it must be started early. Plus there is "long Covid" that effects all ages, so more falsehoods.

As to your mongering, no one really cares about that in this context. There is pussy for sale everywhere, probably within your own city. May cost you little more, so buy a little less or work a little harder, or go to Colombia.

As to Thailand and the Philippines, the former, unlike Colombia which is doing great, has had a very slow vaccine rollout. The Philippines is at around 50%, like us in the states. That isn't good enough.

As to leftists and mongering, such criticisms are ironic coming from family values, "heritage" pro-life God and country conservatives. Lolol It's uncanny how many of these cheat on their wives and dump and run barebacking hookers. This as you openly mock people of color while going to their countries to buy sex from them. Nonethess many left leaning Americans like me believe these choices are up to the women. In the countries I go to, Costa Rica and Colombia, at least 95% of the young women are surviving well enough outside prostitution, thus those who go into the industry typically do so by choice, a choice they should have if they are of age.

So we got a whole lotta "oops" going on here with Chris, as we have come to expect as he lacks research and critical thinking skills.
So you admit you were 100% wrong about everyone who takes a vaccine for measles and other viruses is fully protected for life.

Oops.

No surprise, you're also 100% wrong about how the COVID-19 vaccines work.
He reads what he wants to read and goes where he wants to read it. Such is the maintenance of ignorance.

The world is full of 40 and 50 somethings that think they are in good health but are not. Ask any doctor that does thorough check ups. This especially applies to the obese and roid heads, but some just have bad genes and are about shot, ticking time bombs by that age. So many never see 70, Covid or no Covid.
I am looking forward to the republican party destroying itself this decade defending this Shit record.
We can hope. Unfortunately, the Mainstream Media, always pro Repub when it comes to promoting False Equivalencies, Bothsiderism and Lies about the easily researched record of results for each side in order help their darling Repubs win elections, has already long "forgotten" at least 2 of those 3 major Trump contributions to converting a likely manageable endemic in a region of China into the historic Pandemic that it became.

You know, the spin is that the Pandemic simply "happened" to that poor Donnie feller and spoiled an otherwise sterling so-called presidency and "best economy ever." He was just "unlucky" to be there when it happened. It's just another Once In 100 Years Disaster that, miraculously, only happen under Repub stewardship. Not his fault!

Which is total pro-Repub bullshit all around.

By association, Mainstream Media is letting every Repub off the hook for supporting and defending their Dear Leader's "success" in that effort every step of the way and every day since. And the next Repub in the Oval Office would do it again and again with full support from his entire Party in a heartbeat.

And why wouldn't they? After all, as Mainstream Media have insisted during every Repub Recession Great and Small, every historic Repub Bear Market Crash, every Repub Massive USA Job Destruction as well as every Great Dem Economic Recovery, Expansion, historic Bull Market Run and record high USA Jobs Creation of my lifetime and long before, "The Republican Party is better at handling the economy (truly the most critical issue in any election) than The Democratic Party." lol

But that's fine as it's one of a number of spots to visit when attempting to decipher the truth.

We do though need an strong and legit conservative party, which we don't have now, to keep the nation balanced and reflective of our values as whole. That's why I'm a proud left leaning centrist, who is not with the squad, Crazie Bernies or Elizabeth Warrens.

You bring plenty of bluster when it comes to these topics, but while you shake your finger at "bullshit" there are three pointing back at you. Now keep it up.
I am looking forward to the republican party destroying itself this decade defending this Shit record.
I don't think the Republican Party will get destroyed like the Democratic Party is destroying itself. The American people don't want open borders, increased crime and a bigger government to control every aspect of their lives so the socialists will fail. I believe the American people are smart enough to defeat this and it is showing in the polls. The true democrats are leaving the party. I know that the Republican Party is getting stronger with the Biden catastrophes so they will benefit from the Biden and Bernie mess.

Democrats are not socialists. That's a Fux "News" talking point for trump's favorite demographic, the poorly educated.

No Democrat ever has said that they want open borders. That's a Fux "News" talking point for trump's favorite demographic, the poorly educated.

No Democrat wants increased crime. That's a Fux "News" talking point for trump's favorite demographic, the poorly educated.

That 74 million Americans were hoodwinked into voting for the former guy is an indictment of America's education system. But it does validate one thing: that the former guy loves the poorly educated.

https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Argumentum_ad_nauseam
The 2 "recessions" under Truman and Carter were tiny and insignificant compared to any of the Great Recessions and Serial Recessions under Repubs. Truman's didn't even raise the Unemployment Rate and Carter's was purposely induced by the Fed in order to tackle and tame hyper inflation, which it did. Neither lasted more than 2-3 quarters. In fact, Carter's was over by the middle of the 2nd quarter of negative GDP growth.

I go back 100 years for 2 important reasons; one is going back more than 100 years is not necessary in order to prove a DEFINITE pattern in modern economics between the 2 Parties.

And, two, it was only about 100 years ago that the Federal Reserve was established, up, running and DOING what it has been doing ever since. To compare economic results for any time before that was happening vs after it was happening is apples to oranges.

Considering WWI and the flu pandemic was preventing the newly established Federal Reserve from figuring out what it was doing and how to do it, going back even that far would be dumb.

Maybe that is why focusing on that era and returning to it over and over again appeals to you.

Btw, Republicans add more to the deficit than Dems do. And they get a lot less for it. And you might not recall that Clinton and his Repub Congress went to war over policy to the point of Nude Grinbitch shutting down the government twice.

Clinton prevailed both times.

Then it's voters, the people who repeatedly put Repubs in office to produce those horrific results, start claiming they are now "Independents" and will not be aligned with either of the 2 major parties, because of the same old reasons; Bothsiderism, False Equivalencies, Lies about the immutable 100 years' long pattern, etc.

But they still vote in ways that help Repubs win elections.

...
Correction; I meant to write the Truman 1948 Recession didn't raise the unemployment rate above 7.9% for a single month, same as Carter's. In both cases it spiked up to that rate for a single month and began to decline immediately afterwards.

That was the interesting similarity between those 2 brief economic downsturns. Which, of course, is nothing compared to the Hoover, Nixon/Ford, Reagan, Bush2 and Trump Recessions that drove the Unemployment Rate to near 9% or 10% and way above that (Hoover, Reagan and Trump) for several months each.

It is very likely that the only reason Bush2's Great Repub Recession didn't log in several months of 10%+ Unemployment Rates like Hoover's, Reagan's and Trump's did instead of just one month at 10% was because Obama-Biden took office soon after it started rather than McCain-Palin.
