Cartagena Reports

There's a very cute young girl. Mariana. Who I met recently in Cartagena. She's not too tall, brunette with relatively pale white skin. Natural Cs. Fantastic attitude. You can find her through Jason on Playa Hollywood (the far end of Bocogrande) ; Jason is a softer spoken version of Tony, with a decent command of English. She does not hang out on the beach, but Jason has her number.

Jason should also have the number for a girl. Yesevia. Who was very nice and relaxed, and not a typical beach / LDV hard girl. Yesevia is a student and a cyclist (although shorter than most cyclists I've encountered).

The plus is you get to look into thier true lives, meet their friends, family, work environment, social scene, see other parts of Colombia you would not have darred to see by yourself or on your own. And even if they are travelling with you, you can always find an excuse to do stuff on your own and do some play on the side with other girls. Just leave them in your hotel / apartment with a nice TV. Ha ha ha.

LDV La Dolce Vita Club in El Laquito has great music, yet is it me or the girls looking and acting way too business like? Its like not fun anymore. I used to go inside and dance / chat with the girls and they loved it. Know its all hardcore business, I walk in and I have a girl asking me to buy her a RedBull. Cali girls I love, very sensual, warm, passionate and beautifull. Paisas from Medellin a bit more hard and business like yet I have met some beautifull GFE's in Medellin, yet when they are in Medellin way better anyway you look at it. Something about once they arrive to touristy gringo-ville / European envasion in Cartagena. Its all business. I'm not complaining because even know I find great GFE even in Cartagena, yet again I'm half Colombian / Gringo with fairly good looks and a great personality.

I guess my point is its NOT all about the money, its like back home in the USA I always see these single guys driving their brand new convertible BMW, Mercedes or other luxary experensive automobile, driving all alone and doing thier loops looking for woman thinking you can simply buy a women by showing off thier new ride. I find it sad and pathetic, I even saw one guy pull over, chat with this girl for like 30 min seriously thinking like she was going to simply get in his fancy car and go out with him? Obviously did not happen. Same goes for in Colombia, if you play it cool & straight the Colombian woman find your more attractive. Honestly the first thing I think when I see a girl who obviously has pounds of silicone all over her body is "how do I know that's not a post-op tranny". Seriously, it's not feminine at all.

It's a "Keeping up with the Jones" attitude that is fueling this gross over the top plastic surgery. I know too many girls who have destroyed their perfect. I was wondering- girls maybe having silicone not for being attractive to guys. They may be doing it for looking good in other girls' eyes in competitions among girls. They may not care if guys like their silicone bodies, but they may care if other girls admire and envy their bodies.

Lots of new girls in the beaches, in laguito and bocagrande, over the next few days, and it fills up on holy week, with girls from all over Colombia. Looking for extra cash.

Some new and others the same as usual. Hollywood beach, Laguito, Centro, at the clock tower. And the other clubs at the Bomba el amparo, area. Where the locals go, a bit cheaper. Also.

Well, if you take a taxi to laguito, from the airport, you will find various buildings, I recommend, Torres Del lago, Mirador Del laguito, and Playamar. They are close to the beach, and to the LDV. The college locals hang out in centro, mostly near the clock tower, or at the malls, CASTELLANA MALL or Caribe Plaza.

Daytime, well, maybe the beach in Bocagrande, or laguito, or the malls, the ones I mentioned before.

I am thinking about going down to Cartagena the weekend before July 4th, anyone know if that is a particularly good or bad time to go? I believe it is university holiday during that time.

Also, it will be a national holiday for San Pedro why San Pablo, do you know if this is a holiday where people will be celebrating a lot or if there is a possibility of them cracking down and closing the bars? Given Cartagena is a coastal town, I imagine it would be the former, but prefer to confirm before booking the trip.
