Could be different in Belarus but I doubt it. Thing are usually wrapped up for Uni students after the first week of June. The graduating class is gone by the end of May.

Major cities tend to empty of students as they head back home or go on vacation for the summer.

No need to go to ridiculously expensive glam venues to have fun. You can have in mid-level places a uber fun night out with multiple drinks for two for 100 €. I am not stingy, but if a girl tries to drag me to an high-end club where cocktails cost 15€, I write her off immediatly, there is thousands over thousands other girls available who will be happy to be treated in fun but unpretentious places.

Tashkent is damn cheap by the way, maybe the cheapest in FSU (maybe along with Turkmenistan).

And secondly the hassle with the visa.

In Minsk I hardly saw the Police there unlike Kiev. I also felt very safe and relaxed in a very strange way in MINSK.

Funny you mention the Georgian Restaurant in Paris, because one of my favourite food is Georgian. Tried it few times in London. .

There is a very good Georgian, I think the only one in Kensington near the Lycee.

Also in Kiev. And I am sure in Minsk as well.

Saw a lot of Georgian mongers in westworld club in Minsk. So I guess it can't be that good for mongring in Tiblisi.

My home Jojos are really excited about Tashkent, they are reading all about it.

It doesn't sound suspicous to them, as a mongering potential.

BTW I have queried the accuracy of the report by the London Evening Standard on the prices quoted in their covering of tashkent. They merely said that those prices were paid by their Travel Editor.

It must be that he was loading it on his expenses.

Jojosun, you have nothing to worry about as a foreigner in Minks. Kiev is safe too, plenty of tourists there. Same for Moscow, just use common sense as you would in any big city.

Been to 3 Strip Clubs.

1, The one at the time in Planeta Hotel.

2, At jublinegney Hotel (Spelling?).

3 The club in the same building as West World Club.

Was impressed by the qualtiy of the girls at the time. A lot of touching was allowed.

Hakan Demir reported a bit further down on another strip club where a friend of his had F / S in the jacuzzi on site.

I didn't ask any of the strippers for take out.

I don't think it will be very much in your face, like say Rio Club in Kiev.

You can try asking one of the girls to meet you later on or next day.

Disco next Wednesday night: not many people but enough girls (about 30) to have fun. Not only turkish as many people say but people from everywhere. I spent the night with a Russian friend and we have known almost all the girls. The level IMO was 4-7 with some 8 (I refer level 4 at that fat girls standing there probably for turkish taste). The atmosphere in Minsk is inexplicable, it seems that you go back 15 years. I came back to my apartment with a girl. She told me: "we go with my car, sorry is small and very old" and I remembered the same situation in Kiev when we went back with a Mercedes. The devaluation made Belarus poor (not cheap) but people, as happen in many poor country, are not scroungers. Continue.

After a week in Minsk, I can say that this is a good destination if you like gf experience. Here is very easy to know girls. Discotecs, internet (mamba works very well and there are other websites too) , in the street you can know easily all the girls that make eye contact with you and you don't need to be Brad Pit but only have an appropriate behavior. People here are very educated and respectful and they expect the same from you.

In the other hand, if you like the p4p, probably this is not your destination, not because there isn't but because, at the half price or more easily, you can find what you want in a FKK or in Kiev.

P. S. Checked the dankoff (it seems to be only an streptease but probably, if you spend many money, you can open other doors, but it is not value for money. Cheers

P4P is not terrific in Minsk and much better in, say, Kiev. Belarusian girls are a different breed of slavic. While they are more than willing to let you buy them gifts, take them for dinner to Grand Cafe in exchange for sex, if you try to offer many of them straight up money for sex they will lose their temper and take a lot of reassuring to calm down. They may even chose to stop speaking with you. It's peculiar how they have it their minds that there is a difference but it does and one must regard it seriously. I believe it is because they need to be able to look at themselves in the mirror. However, once you have earned their trust they will be purring in your ear and sending you countless SMS. This fact is a major difference between Belarusian and Ukrainian women, in my experience, anyway. I learned this the hard way and it proved a valuable lesson.

In order to meet girls in Belarus it's ok to be in a hotel or it's best to rent a flat?

Don't think that a hotel has any advantages over an appartment if it isn'T a particulary luxurious one.

BTW. Does anyone have a good inexpensive appartment agency / website?
