I'll answer my own question
I use Pingo for calling CR and just picked up Magic Jack for my laptop. My question is when I am in CR can I use magic jack to call CR,via pingo? The reason I would want to do that is it would mask where I was calling from plus I could call from my room and all my numbers are already programed in Pingo. I think it would also be cheaper than using a local cell phone.
Has anyone done this?
thanks in advance for any input
Yes I can use Magic to call to Costa Rica when I am there and it works. It costs for the call, but it comes out as my USA number.
On another note calls to and from the USA while in CR are free . All you need is an internet connection.
Using US cell phone in costa rica.
Hey guys,
Hope you can solve a little problem for me. I am going to cr and will be using my att cell phone there (international network). I do not want any one to know that I'm outside USA. Problem is. Last time I went to cr, when I was not using the phone, somehow, a recording in spanish was heard by the callers.
Has anyone used their current cell phones in cr? Any tips? Please advise.
Thanks
First Time Travel to Costa Rica
I am looking for pointers to Costa Rica in San Jose a good place to meet some hot women and have fun with friends.
Is the Blue Marlin and Key Largo the best place to pick up women
Also what hotels would you recommend to stay that are good and women friendly
Is there a way to book flight/lodgings at Del Ray or Sportsman's together?
I have tried travelocity and priceline and can't find lodgings offered at either place, and it would be a great way to save money, if either offer a package deal. It looks like I am going to go in October, my first time and I am excited.
