Is Monterrey going to be the place in Mexico?
Maybe / maybe not. Not trying to dissuade anyone but just booked a direct flight on Viva Aerobus from Austin, TX over 3 weeks from now and by the time you pay upgraded booking to check a phucking bag + taxes + Monterrey airport fee just shy of $600! Also I just looked at airfare nearly 60 days out and similar pricing. For us Texas bros can justify the more recent higher airfares but if I lived on the west coast going to Tijuana for regular action or if lived on the east coast Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Colombia airfares generally lower than from TX. El Paso also on my radar for good value P-tang.
Monterrey massage parlors very good value once down there but if traveling back and forth regularly the higher airfares these days quickly eat up my mongering budget.
