Despite restricting myself to easy afternoon AMP sessions for a bit of R & R lately, I still manage to get out a couple of nights a week. Tom - the good thing about the hefty entry fee at Sheraton Deira is that it means only serious players (guys) will pay to go in, meaning it's not crowded with guys who come for a free look. The Shooter had only a sliver of time to spare in Dubai, so where else to go but Seaview?

I called in Finnigan’s in the Palm Hotel (next to the Hard Rock Café) last week, It was much the same as I remember it, prices very reasonable, particularly for that end of town. 18 AED a pint, Fish and Chips 31 AED.

There were 4 PRC’s working the bar, not stunners, but certainly not mingers either. On another night I was told there were five.
