Went to nightclub with a foriegner friend last night. Have difficulty with the girls due to my poor Korean language skills. Only a girl with some basic english skills sat with us for more than 20 minutes.

I have been in Korea for about a 1 year but have never visited a night club. Any advice if the girls are working girls. Curious what motivates them to visit a night club and get pulled around to sit with other men. Are they looking for a ons-hook up or are they working girls.

Haven't seen Su-jin in a while. Last time she actually looked really good. Got her digits if interested.

I concur with troll Mamasan. I am on her good side (generally) so she usually lines up the fresh ones for me, often asking me to "train them". Many don't last there, which is okay with me.

LOL; she's asked me to provide the same service from time to time. The problem is just when you've got 'em where you want 'em, they disappear, and if you haven't gotten the digits, it's another case of catch and release. Mamasan just too f**ing loud and pushy and constantly makes deals she backtracks on while noisily defending her "right" to do so as a "businesswoman". I just can't stand the drama any more.

yeah, i guess that's where you landed. i wouldn't worry about anyone being **** on the hill. lol. and as jr noted, she frequently has some really attractive fresh talent, and you can get good service there, but mamasan is a world -class libido killer.

not working girls. perfectly normal every day girls. The working girls are usually "working" during those hours.

going to a Korean "booking" nightclub is perfectly acceptable here.
the women also have complete freedom to ditch you at the table (after the least amount of time spent for politeness purposes) , even if they were brought over in a headlock by the waiter :)

It serves as a good hook up scene for the locals, one night stands are not uncommon, because you can just both drunk stumble over to a nearby love motel.

as a waygoogin, you're going to be SOL, unless you can speak decent Korean.

Korean booking clubs aren't cheap, always best to go in a group so you can split the tab, since to get a table you have to buy the way overpriced alcohol and fruit tray. Besides, if you went alone, the Koreans would find you extremely strange and avoid you to begin with. (Koreans never go anywhere or do anything alone).

I've been told there are some booking clubs in Seoul where a decent percentage of the women will speak at least some English.

You should try those.

I miss those places.

it's cultural (Korean "culture" is bizarro by Western standards). Some of these things are changing, but broad vestiges remain.

- it's not expected of a female to show interest in a man, even if she happens to have it. She's also expected to initially rebuff/refuse advances even if she welcomes them.

- AND (and this is where the booking clubs and "jazz bars" come in). Koreans cannot meet other Koreans by saying hello on the street, in a store, etc etc.
You are supposed to be introduced. If you're not introduced you may as well be an alien and will be treated/ignored as such.

I took the subway down to the Cheongnyangni zone for a first time stroll (line 1 east side of downtown). It was a pretty cold and windy night so my intention was not to really stay for long or do much more than kill an hour for a walk.

It must have been quite a place in its heyday. I'm guessing more than half of the "aquariums" looked out of service though I'm guessing 10pm is still pretty early for the area. The girls who were there largely ignored me and at least initially I was worried I was in for a repeat of another unplanned stop at the Pyongtaek zone with no one really willing to pollute their surroundings with a foreigner. Things were a bit different here.

I took an overall stroll to get a sense of the place and was accosted by a roving crowd of older women trying to get me to check out various rooms off of the furthest side street. I went in a number of them out of curiosity but what I saw wasn't too tempting though I guess people come and go there? I'd be curious to know if anyone's had any luck there? The prices were certainly lower (if you don't get changed up on after getting the clothes off). I eventually sat around one for a few minutes to see what might get offered. The older lady tried to take my shoes but I took them off myself and kept them near me fearing a "shoe kidnapping" which could only be resolved by the loss of extra cash. Nothing was shown that interested me so I left the little street.

At any rate, I was rejected or simply ignored by the majority of girls working the lighted booths there - the back side street of the zone (defined on one side by a freeway or street wall - this street eventually merges into the little street with the old ladies hawking middle aged women just locate it) was by far the friendliest about 5 girls seemed willing to do business. I went back to the major street side of the district and found a decent looking girl about 20y/o named Gun Hee. Slender and tall with a super firm body and a decent face I decided to take the plunge. Nice small boobs and smooth skin. BBBJ for a few minutes, CBJ, Mish and cowgirl. 70,000. Her service didn't do her looks justice. She seemed to indicate an hour of service but it must have been 1 pop instead. She didn't exactly rush me out but wasn't into hanging out. Everything was slightly mechanical but functional. I'm sure she had zero interest in me but actually seemed to get wetter as things proceeded. I probably wouldn't repeat but on some level it was worth it. I would probably just as soon take a chance on another provider in the zone. Unfortunately, not many to try out as most won't give you the time of day.

Directions to Gun Hee's storefront. Go to the front of the Lotte Dept. Store and go toward the zone. You'll see two signs straight ahead - Peltier and Cafe W. Walk between them up that street a block. Take the first right and there's a short row of booths to the right just past the garages. She's the last booth of the booths on the right.

from my limited information, they are in effect "hostess bars", where the attractive female bartenders basically keep you company. I met a friend for drinks in one of these in my town. The bar was quite nice, the drinks quite expensive.

it's not pay for play, they cannot leave the premises. I do think it wouldn't be altogether difficult to procure a number though, but meeting her at mutually convenient hours could be difficult considering she'll be working most nights for the duration of the night and probably sleeping all day. ( by meeting her I'm saying for a "date" not a P4P encounter).

This is once again suited for cultural Korean purposes, as this way a Korean male can have female company for drinks, any Korean doing anything alone would be considered a social outcast and a loser. The drinks in these places are (of course) double or triple what you'd usually pay in a 'regular' bar/club.
