I have read that there are a few red light districts in Istanbul around the Harbor area. Additionally I have read that these areas are tightly controlled and that entry requires a Passport to enter and that security at the entrances may require a payment to enter. Also only licensed Hookers and males are allowed to enter from what I have read. I have also read somewhere that foreigners are not allowed in. 1. Would a color photocopy of my Passport work for entry if required? My Passport is not leaving my Hotel.
