It was where most of the mega soapies were and there are tons of smaller indepentant girls etc.

I believe the mega soapies were not allowed to reopen until July 01,2022. So I am not sure how many made it and will reopen. Apparently Poseidon, arguably the biggest, is gone for good.

Been on decline since the Shot Heard Round Thailand. Think Myanmar.

Once vibrant many places turned into Condos, Hotels, etc.

Once the biggest operator Sold I guess the smaller operator's decided to get out too.

I was just told by a girl who worked at Poseidon before covid that it will reopen on the 15th. Hotel, restaurant & massage. Anyone care to do the legwork to confirm? MRT to Sutisan, Thanachart Bank exit, walk about 5 min.

As far as I know, there are 3 major Thai-oriented RLDs in addition to 3 Farang ones: the area south of Rachadamnoen Nok near Khok Wua interesection (some call it Sanam Luang by inertia, but it isn't), Wong Wien 22 (traffic circle near Yaowarat), and Huai Kwang. There was more activity in the past all over the city, but it decreased significantly over the years.

However it is not a red light district by any means, just a normal clubbing type area. If you are over 40 you will be bored our of your mind.

But I think that any hotel property damage, they just let it go. I one of the rooms had visible damage and it's been there ever since.

What I've been doing is using Majestic Suites as a shor time hotel in a way. Because it's about $20-$30 a night, give or take. But I don't sleep there. It's very noisy. I'd recommend bringing earplugs. Not only do you hear the clubs banging all night along with loud A / C but you can hear everything next door.

I agree Billboards has went down in quality by a lot from years past. I remember that place having very pretty girls, and the DJ and music was really great. I feel like whoever was recruiting before was a bit more calibrated. And I say this because the girls in Billboard now all don't look good imo but they all have a similar look to them. It's clear whoever is hiring them thinks that look is pretty. Large contrast from before. Fit, haggard looking, tattoos, heavy makeup. Whereas I feel before you had a much more larger variety. Rainbow 5 definitely had some cute girls. I barfined a few from there. Price is about 3 K + 800. I also like how the people (people serving drinks) in Rainbow 5 aren't pushy for drinks. There's also a place downstairs, to the right of Lollipop that had a massive massive stage of dancing girls there. Easily the largest of all the clubs there.

Mandarin imo I never liked the girls there even pre-covid. I was definitely a fan of Rainbow 4 oddly enough. Very pretty girls, some that have that Japanese girl look to them.
