Hi! I RTFF the forum and saw some hotel names that are GF. Is this the general mode for HK? My company is either going to place me in Sheraton Kowloon oder Langham Place and it would be good if someone would indicate if one of these if "green" or not. Thank you in advance and hope to enjoy the fun in early October!

Especially the 5* hotels turn a blind eye if you have company with you and.

As long as she is not dressed like the cheapest hooker in HKG it will be all OK.

The "bigger" the hotel the more GF they are but there are some walks of shame and it is better your GF is reasonably dressed to avoid the obvious. You will have no problem in either of these hotels.

T[/QUOTE]Sheraton is very easy as there are effectively two entrances. If you don't want to go up the escalator and across the lobby then get in the elevator thats on the ground floor. Easy.

The hotel has incredibly noisy housekeepers by the way. I stayed there a few weeks back. Request a room away from elevators and away from maids station. Oh and tell the maid that you do not want the maids cart parked outside your room all night (maids station can't accommodate them all it seems)

In Rio I use a nokia phone with a SIM chip I buy there & a calling card. Is this also the best way for HK?

MY carrier verizon can do the following;

Mail me a global phone for $200.

$1. 99 a min/.50 texts

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks guys![/QUOTE]Just bring your Nokia, assuming out is a gsm phone. I was there last month and picked up a money friendly SIM from 7-11. It was a dual hkg and cny sim from Peoplesfor about 20usd. For a minor fee (covered by the credits that came with the sim) , you get 7 days unlimited data. Of course, cell data, not smartphone service.

The cool feature is that when you are in China and someone calls you on the hkg number, they get the hkg phone network ringing, instead of the China network ringing. That way, people will think you are still in hkg, when you are really somewhere else.

Didn't work on my smartphone, but did on my gsm phone.

When you exit Customs at HKIA and enter the main hall follow the wall on your left and you will see a shop that sells phones, SIM cards, etc. I pickup a China Mobile SIM card there for my unlocked Nokia phone and recharge at any 7-11, ezy-pzy!

Last month, I bought a sim that had a unique monger twist. It came with both a hkg and a cny phone number. When in China, you can configure it so that callers will hear the hkg network ring instead of the China network ring. That way, when you happen to be exploring Chang Ping or Dongguan, your callers will think you are in hkg!

The SIM was about 30 USD and came with enough credit to add the 1 week unlimited data feature. Did not work on a smartphone, but did work on a regular gsm phone

Yeah just like everybody else says. Use the unlocked GSM phone and buy a prepaid SIM card.

I'll add my 2 cents though because I also have Verizon at home and paid the global plan with a global phone. Worked with both the BB 8830 World Edition and the Storm 2. It's kind of neat that you don't have to give a different number for people back home to reach you, they just call your regular number. Also with a BB and a global plan, I was receiving all the email I had setup on the phone everywhere I went in the world. Other than that, the convenience ain't worth the plan cost (I think it was over $100 a month where you can call anybody anywhere in the world for $1 a minute) , or the cost per call. After trying it for a little while I dumped it 'because it wasn't worth it.

Went to 37 Dundas on recommendation of posts in this forum.

Price outside but I asked for price anyway. Was told $400 + $100 for room. I said $390 was the advertised price outside. The trouble with asia in general is not so much the haggelling but the fact of the haggeling with someone who does not speak your language. I asked for two girls and was quoted $1000. WTF. Paying for the room twice over. I was tired and gave in but in the end I only paid $800 despite the 'quote'. So much for the preliminaries. Now for the main event. The action was pretty much as advertised. Soapy shower with girls, body rubs, BBBJ in the shower and lots of cleaning esp of the butt. Hmm I wonder why?

The two girls were Gammy and Emma (or maybe Imma). They were probably early twenties but as with Chinese they look about 18.

On the plus side

They were both attractive;

Very talkative (to each other) ;

Enthusiastic;

Willing (ie no hesitation) to do what I directed;

Offered massage after I came early.

Unfortunately they were a little too good (oxymoron?).

Would not be surprised if there's a sign outside that still shows the old price.

Still a relative bargain for what you receive in return. I'll definitely stop by again the next time I'm in HK.

Just had a layover in hk for 1 nite this week (Thursday nite) fly out Friday am so not to late out.

Did the rounds from 9 to 11 pm.

Nep II nearly dead.

Escape nearly dead.

Forrest dead.

Old laguna under Restoration.

Nep iii dead.

Galaxy dead.

Boracay ca 10 phil (standard mamasan crowd) almost no clients some cute phil there but min 1000 hkd.

New makati (phil name) now about 70pct full of indo and clients.

Met 3 domestic workers

One was particularly "coming on" but very little english.

Took her out

In the taxi she was all over my meat and 2 veg and the taxidriver was muttering in Chinese

Exercised her her senseless for about 1 hr (she complained about hurting puss.)

40 min break she calls her friends complaining about the smarting puss.

Then again for about 10 min to end up.
