Interesting, now it's chlamydia. I reported a few months ago a case of genital Herpes in Blok M -- most likely uncapped BJ. So keen BBBJ-ers, do so at your own risks now in Blok M. So we now have reports of herpes, chlamydia in the Blok M area, anything else, guys ?
Be safe!
There have always been reports of Chlamydia in the blok, it seems to be endemic to pro area's as it is so easily transmitted.. Herpes cases I have not heard about before but it won't be surprising as it seems to be on the rise worldwide, some countries are currently active campaigning against it.
I don't visit the blok too often anymore but in 2005 there were 2 cases of the slims, i know about. Both were drug users that also frequented the Kota area, one passed away, I don't know of the fate of the other one... so yes pls be safe!
See my response on the subject to Smoothy. I have been in Jakarta for about 2 years, so I am well aware of the local circumstances that you describe, thanks.
Well..and I have known some Indonesian ceweks for all my life and I'm over 18.. hehehe. I think Smoothy's post is spot on.. Please note that generally girls are much more polite and respectful than any were else. It will be quite easy to take advantage by ignoring the hints, but it is not a very honorable thing to do.

Where is Dragon Fly?
I wanna step up to the challenge, but have no idea where it is, what would be a convenient hotel to stay in to go there?
Preferably one that houses Tigah, CJ or Bats so I have a plan be if needed :)

Airport
I reported on action in the airport hotel a couple of months ago. On my recent trip I confirmed what I have believed for some time, that many of the girls apparantly waiting for someone coming in off incoming international flights are merely there to be picked up.
As always, I was quick of the flight and into the arrivals area where I saw at least four girls (not together) amongst the usual crowd waiting for people coming in. I looked at them and they all smiled back so I simply picked the best one, walked up to her and said "are you waiting for me?". (This is a pretty safe approach as you could always pretend you were new in and had someone waiting for you.). The girl was around 22, very pretty and "my type" of body. She replied "maybe", so I just said "OK, perhaps we can go for coffee somewhere". She said "OK", I said "back to my hotel?" and that was it. Could not have been easier; back at my hotel we showered together and got straight down to business, a couple of hours later she was in a taxi heading home (or back to the airport for the next flight), happy with with 300k in her bag.
Later that night (Wednesday) I had a look in 30Bar: absolutely dreadful - that place has really declined in the past couple of years or so; there was nothing in there I would have had, even if I had been desperate.

What a great story B69, I can't wait to try that one myself. I am flying in next week end, though I wonder if i will achieve the same result, as I am flying domestically. I could of course hop over to Int'l arrivals.
It also makes for a far more interesting ride into town.......

Convenient hotels to achieve your purpose: Mulia (10mn away by cab at that time of the night). Other hotels in vincinity: The Sultan, and also Ritz Carlton, the Marriott.
Enjoy!

Now I know why my girlfriend wasn't there to meet me at the airport. Bulai picked her up before I arrived.
So, next time you take a girl back for sex in Indonesia, remember the above and be fair to her: put at least 500,000 Rups in her purse before she leaves in the morning:
Don't be mean.
Very well said.
I think there is no girl in Indonesia, who follows you for free to the hotel after knowing you for an hour or so.
She expects money for sure, and deserves it.
Paying her nothing or 50k for taxi is CC attitude at it's extreme.
Cheers!

The most logical explanation is that they were there to meet up with some mongerer getting off the plane. When she went with you , she probably called the guy with some lame excuse why she couldn't be at airport.

Same with chicks you hook up with using IM Messager chat rooms etc you may have barely chatted with for an hour or so, they will get banged (as has been reported many times before on this Board) and they don't expect $$ in return.

Can you explain to me how the girls can afford to buy the nice clothes they wear to Bats, the entry fee, the price of drinks, the taxi money, the cost of makeup, beauty salon, food, rent, etc if the guys who screw them are not giving them any money at all?
I stick with my opinion in my previous posts. I basically believe it's unethical to not give the girls something in Indonesia. In the usa, europe, etc, it's not a problem - those girls have their own money. But these girls need that money and will eventually start demanding it up front if they are stiffed by cheapstakes. I seriously think it serves no other purpose than ruining the scene for the rest of the guys in town. Is $40 - $50 alot of money to slip them for servicing you all night long? Jesus christ.
You remind me of a guy I knew who would pay $700,000 to take a girl out of Stadium for all night "because he had to", but if he took a nice girl home from Tigah Puluh and she didn't ask for money, he'd give her 50,000 for taxi money. Then that girl would ask me the next day why my friend didn't give her any money. It didn't register in his brain that if he didn't give her money, she might end up working at stadium herself.

Airport and Atrium Mall
1 Ball - maybe a long shot but if you go to arrivals about 5.30pm when LH778 comes in from Frankfurt (via Singapore) you might find the same girl(s). By the way, she wasn't up for photos so no photo to post I'm afraid.
As others have implied, she may have been just "looking" or waiting for a specific "boyfriend" and went with me on the "first come, first served principle".
Last Saturday morning I had to go to Atrium mall to buy some car spares (another story) and I had no time for hunting. However, even though it was early (11.00 - 11.15) I spotted three girls who were "looking". One was hanging around the cinema and I spoke to her and she asked if I would take her in to see the film. The other two I watched for max 2 minutes and they were pounced upon by local guys within that short period of time. I saw maybe 2 or 3 others who might have been "looking" but I didn't have time to approach them or watch them.
So nothing new there - just worth confirming that it's easy to find a girl in Atrium but you have to be QUICK.

Yes, the girls I am referring to here either already have a (well-paid by local standards ie one I have in mind 6.5 M Rp per month) job, or/and a husband / benefactor, and / or are students living with their parents. They would have felt insulted if I had offered them $$.

Paying
I agree with Smoothy about paying and another point relating to this is that over time, it will drive the behaviour of girls in a direction that will destroy what is good about Jakarta: the best "girl friend experience" you will get anywhere. What will happen is that girls will start demanding an agreed price up front and eventually, demanding money up front and the whole process will degenerate into a purely commercial transaction as it is almost everywhere in the West. Indeed I have to say that there is evidence of this creeping in already. Quiet often - as evidenced in this forum, girls talk about how much money they want. 10 years ago I never experienced that.
Also, non payment by some, quite obviously, simply puts the price up for others. As Smoothy says they have to fund their lifestyle and they sure as hell won't do it by working in a shop or office on 1 juta (100USD) a month or less.
The only exception which provides a "legitimate" reason to not pay is when you find a girl who is wealthy in her own right because she has some mug of a "boyfriend" who throws money at her: most BATS girls are not in that category.
