Just came across this. Though I am more of a sauna dude myself, I thought it looked interesting. Lots of outcall listings, though many seem to link back to other sites. Odd. Anyway, will give it a try and report.

I stopped in at the massage place on North Shaanxi Road at Changping. I had been there a couple of times before and left happy. Once again going for the 268 Rmb massage, and expecting the same excellent set meal service, no upsell. Alas, it was not to be. The girl kept trying to sell me a 412 package, although it was never clear what she was going to offer for that. She seemed not to want to give me the 268 titty package I had enjoyed previously. Lots of discussion. I refused, and in the end, I came away with a HJ for 206. If anyone ever gets the 412 package, I'd like to know.

thanks for your info, sounds like a bargain to me. but when you register and are living in china (resident visa in passport) , what home address do you provide, you make something up or provide a foreign address, i mean they can see you live in china. just want to avoid any mistakes and be safe. thanks for helping me to explore new frontiers.[/quote]another way to get a short term place to meet up without having to go through the hassle of registration is to use bath houses.
there is a masseuse i once started seeing quite often and we decided to see each other outside of the massage parlor itself so we can "go the whole way". she is the one that suggested that we meet at a bath house. the one we went to is the "jinlyu bathouse" or something like that. it's on the yan'an service road, on the side of the street heading east from hongqiao airport, about 500m west of hongmei road. it is now under renovation, but i have seen similar bathhouses rep001tered around shanghai.
the process is that you go in to the bath house with the girl and tell them that you'll both be using the bath facilities. as long as it's not too late at night (say before 8pm or so) , they will not ask for you i'd (at least that has been my experience). they then take your shoes (so you don't run away i think has been suggested before, and sounds likely) and you go to the shower area (there is a mens' side and a womens' side). after showering you meet by the elevators and then go up to the floor where they have use by the hour rooms. they will show you to room, offer you drinks (or food, though i've never had any) and then leave you on your own. you can stay for as short or as long as you want.
once done, you go back down, take your showers in your respective locker / shower room areas and then meet at reception. pay the bill and done. no ids needed, and the price is pretty reasonable (i think my total bill comes to about 200 rmb most of the time).
