No informational value......
I am flattered that, who I consider, an excellent ISG poster would "put me in my place"!
Since you don't know me, personally, and don't know exactly where I have or haven't been, I have been to all the places I write about with the exception of Melbourne, Australia and Chisinau, Moldava(but, re-read my reports and do not confuse all my location headings with information and/or opinions given as, on a few occasions, my topic was information requested).
In these two series of opinionated reports, respectively, I gave my personal beliefs about pricing of a particular sexual act and, in the Chisinau thread, responded to, what I considered, a report full of misinformation(actually, lies, is closer to the truth!).
Once again, just my opinion in both, nothing more, nothing less and I don't expect everyone(or anyone) to agree with me but I would be more than happy to change opinions if I was proven incorrect by a contradicting opinion(not just, "mind your own business" or "you don't know what the hell you are talking about", etc.!).
But, Mouse1, attacking me personally by implying that I have contributed little or nothing informational to the website, IMO, is a "cheap shot" and does not represent your usual level of reporting! If you re-read my any of my reports, I hope you will alter your opinion of me, just a little!
Admittedly, I'm not as nearly as good as you but I do try!
Have I angered you that much? If, so, I apologize as I am not mean-spirited by nature but, possibly, to a fault, I try to live my life by thinking in a logical and reasonable manner!
Perhaps, Mouse1, it is a conflict of our interpretation of this website as I rely on it for a source of valuable information and get "put off" when a report goes, what is IMO, way "off topic" with desciptive language with, I consider, no informational value!
Cheers!
When I looked up "No informational value" in the dictionary, the above report showed up.
Back to more important issues...

Cheers!
Ha ha! Flattery will always win me over! :) And actually I didn't mean to imply that you hadn't been to those places; it was just my poor grammatical style. So apologies for that.
Let's just agree to differ, but as Kumbu says, you don't have to read the reports, and I for one think the world would be a poorer place without them.
Meanwhile, does anyone know of an ATM where I can withdraw cash without being charged?
Kumbu Signs Off from the Pattaya Thread...for now
Gentlemen,
Someone once described my writing style as literary masturbation. I think this pisses some people off, and I understand why. I prefaced my month of reports with the following note,
[post]1025003[/post]
in which I warned people that my reports may not suite everyone's taste. That last paragraph was particularly prophetic.
I think it is time we moved on from this discussion, but not before I do two things. The first is to give a HUGE thanks to all of you who spoke up in my support. I really do appreciate it. It is gratifying to know that my reports were of interest to at least some of you. Second, I want to sum up my thoughts on what this little spat has brought to light. After that, I will move on – I promise. I have two more reports left to post (both on the BKK thread), and then I will be done.
So. To sum up my thoughts, here are some quotes and some quick responses to them.
The minute details of a paid sexual encounter with a Pattaya Thai SP...especially in the long, drawn-out manner you report in, serves no worthwhile purpose...
Wrong.
This website's threads would be better served if...
Wrong again.
This is about getting pussy...The more objective the post the better.
Different member, but still wrong.
The only thing worth reading about on this thread is touchy-feely emotional descriptions.
Different (hypothetical) member, and still wrong.
All these quotes show people assuming that their opinion is universal. Just because *I* want pussy, pussy, pussy, then everyone must also want the same thing. Just because *I* dislike your reports, the website's threads would be better served...And this is further supported by remarks such as these:
I find no worthwhile purpose in it!
Correct.
describing in detail what you did with any SP does not add to my knowledge base!
Correct.
I am sometimes offended by some of the things said by some people (e.g., “Thai girls are only good for fucking! Take em to your room , fuck em, then kick em out. Repeat cycle!”), but not once have I ever told a member that such reports are useless or unwarranted or have no place here. These are opinions, and they will be useful to some people (not me, but to some), and so they should be aired.
Gentlemen, we are all different. Angus Magee, in his most excellent blog (to which there is a link below, and which I highly recommend) has a post about how he can't help but get emotionally involved with P4P girls. This despite knowing full well that nothing will come of it – that he is probably being played by the girls. This is essentially the way I am. Reading his posts and blog, I find solace in knowing that there is at least one other who shares my experience. And if there are two of us, there must be more. This means that such experiences (emotionally charged or otherwise) are a genuine part of this activity we engage in. Just because money exchanges hands does not make me into an automaton. And the fact that some of us engage in this activity in this manner (and not in the pussy, pussy, pussy method espoused by the gentlemen quoted above), makes it relevant. Whether they like it or not.
There is only one person who can tell anyone here what is appropriate on this forum, and that is Jackson. The day he tells me to cut it out, out it shall be cut.
Finally, the various fora of the ISG each have their own vibe, each dictated by the members who populate it. The Thailand forum is populated by a lot of genuine, serious, thoughtful, honest, supportive and knowledgeable gentlemen, and it is these people who provide the bulk of useful posts. But for whatever reason, there is a culture of aggression on this forum that I just don't understand. People cut others down for no productive reason. It's almost as if there is an army of angry men sitting by their computers waiting for someone to post anything, ready to pounce on them and rip them to shreds. Why? Here's a rather pointless example:
My innocuous post:
[post]1025827[/post]
Someone criticizing, with not an ounce of useful information:
[post]1025877[/post]
Me defending my post as being worthwhile (why do I have to do this??)
[post]1026136[/post]
A fine gentleman pointing out that there is no reason to be destructive.
[post]1026181[/post]
So my final thoughts are that I think some on this thread, and the Thailand forum more broadly, are not tolerant or thoughtful of other perspectives. They assume too quickly that theirs is the only legitimate point of view. And that, my friends, in my opinion, is not the kind of forum we should settle for. Many thanks for your indulgence, and many thanks once again for your comments of support.
I am not quite finished - I have two more reports coming up on the BKK thread, and then I will seek comfort in the hollows of my work...until my return to the Land of Beautiful Legs, at which point I vow to report my experiences with as much emotional, subjective, gloriously visceral detail as I can muster.
