What does Barba's comment about "Cheap Charlie" mean? 300? 500? 1000? 2000? 5000?.
Westcoast1, your right. It is just as unclear for you, as it is for me. I am not sure exactly what I was trying to say. Maybe an attempt to filter out all the pocket wanking, semi alcoholic, broke slobs that most likely will be the first to spam her. I tend to overpay girls sometimes, and sometimes I "only" pay 500. The girl I linked to will of course like 2000 but she also needs 500, so it is up for negotiation. For me 500 or 2000 makes little difference. I am not insinuating that anyone here can not afford 2000, but I never was able to relate to the idea of helping financially weaker people to get laid. I do not see how it relates to me. If I spend 2000-5000 a night in a hotel, I can just as well spend another 1500-2000 on a girl if I feel she deserves it. If I need to cut down, I do it on the hotel and not on the girls "taxi money". If this means that next man can not afford to fuck her, it is not my problem. He will most likely not afford the hotel either, and this never seems to be an issue. In a sense most men on the globe share the hobby discussed here on ISG, and it is unreasonable to assume that we are all connected and should attend some sort of pricing loyalty to every man trying to get laid. Pricing monopoly never did appeal to me in any form. I find the principles of supply and demand to be a cornerstone of any functioning economy. So to appeal to my kind heart for support for the next broke monger will not be wisely invested time. But I agree that I can be clearer if I do bother to post referrals her.
As for getting mad at the monger that referred the girl to you, in my humble opinion I think a monger should negotiate the price himself always. He tried to help you and her. Setting the price for any deal, is up to the two parts involved, unless you paid him as a broker or if there was a prior understanding that he deviated from.
I will remember your advice Westcoast1 and indicate a pricing level in any further referrals I might post.
In any case, anyone interested could always try with 300 peso and then move upwards. I do not know if this would make me or her feel more humiliated if I tried this, but who knows, maybe she is desperate enough to fuck someone for 300 pesos. Maybe the supply of teenage pussy is in such an abundance.
Regardless of the price, guys please do not be too tough on her. She was just born in the wrong spot on this globe, and apart from that she is a sweet girl that is trying very hard to keep her younger sisters from walking in her footsteps.
Al the best,
Barba
Barba, gents. I'm going to muddy the water a bit. Regarding the passing of girl's information, phone numbers, dating contacts, etc. Reference Barba's post, and others who have posted that this girl or that girl is looking for some help (thanks, the members appreciate that, and the girl also). Also Hairy Wonder posted today in the Chatroom / Penpal section something similar, saying a girl insisted on p5000.
There can be some confusion and misunderstanding about what the girl's expectation is."Cheap Charlie best stay away." What does that mean? Last year a board member passed me the YM and phone number of a student in Cebu when I was visiting. Another student who needed help. A quick chat in YM and she was at the hotel 90 minutes later. A typical 3-hour afternoon session followed. While she was in the bathroom dressing to leave, I put a p500-note in her purse (never had a cebuena complain at that amount, most smile and kiss my cheek on the way out; then offer a repeat or a cousin). When she said "you pay me now" I told her it was in her purse. She took it out and this angry thing ensued:
Her: 500! 500?
Me: yes. Its what I give to all the girls.
Her: 2000!
Me: what?
Her: yes your friend always give 2000. I have exam fee tomorrow!
I told her that she should have clarified in advance her expectation. Actually I was steaming mad at the board member for not having told me. I tossed her an extra p500 to attempt to avoid an extended argument. She left angry still. Right away I PM'd him here to ask about it. He replied later that yes, he liked to spoil the girls, and no, he was unaware that they would work for 500 on a ST. He said the girl had also sent him an angry txt (understandably).
How the F*CK does an experienced board member not know what the going rate is? It behooves us, I think, as recipients of this information (myself) , to clarify with the giver, or the girl, her expectation. What does Barba's comment about "Cheap Charlie" mean? 300? 500? 1000? 2000? 5000? Really it represents spoilage on the part of the college girl when she insisted no 2000 pesos for a few hours work (she's used to others paying it).
WC, I normally agree with you, but this time I feel you are way off mark. You really expect these girls to fuck you for three+ hours for 500P? Maybe 500P for a SW who has 5 guys a day, but for a student who is trying to better herself and selling her body is the only way to do that.
I could understand 500P tip if you had paid the barfine, but 500P all in?
I have lived and worked here almost four years and most of these girls are very poor and meet us because they really need the money.

Really could have gotten ugly fast, punches might have been thrown. Next time I'll have to make a point of visiting
Cebu.
As a matter of advice to new forum members, (like myself) , Boracay is not a good spot for mongering, (we took
Girls with us and it was still mildly disastrous). My guess is most more experienced mongers would not go to
Boracay, and if they did, would only take a girl or two who had more than proven themselves. Very beautiful place
Though, although, there doesn't appear to be many spots in the Visayas that aren't beautiful landscapes.
I could understand 500P tip if you had paid the barfine, but 500P all in?
I would give 500-700 depending on attitude myself 700 they had a good attitude there not working girls there just trying to make a bit on the side
I really fell for the place, but a strange thing happend there. How about giving us the name of the hotel?
It is a pity you cannot write a short FR about your perspective on the delights of Cebu. It is the best way to give back to the board!
How the F*CK does an experienced board member not know what the going rate is?
There are a few different rates. Locals pay 500 and expat residents a bit more. But short term visitors cannot expect to get that same rate. Just like most everywhere in the Philippines, travelers are looked upon as being rich and will always pay accordingly.
I also cannot send you a PM. Please pay the fee
I have already payed the fee, but Jackson does not want to seem to fix the problem.
WC, I normally agree with you, but this time I feel you are way off mark. You really expect these girls to fuck you for three+ hours for 500P?
Robb
Actually, yes. I've had dozens of cebuanas. Exclude barfine girls (ie Vikings, etc) for a moment (will come back to them). I've been giving that amount for some time. After, most girls give me their number and ask for repeats. They offer a friend for the same amount. They desire to do it again when I'm back 6 months later (same price). If the price is too low that I'm offering, why are they returning? Further, another day following the incident mentioned, I was hit upon in the late morning by two girls in Ayala mall. They agreed to 1000 total and were happy with it (pics posted I think on the board). Later in the afternoon I was beset by two ladies in Robinson's, who were happy with the same price (500 ea).
On my last trip to Cebu, except for barfines, I gave every ST 500 and LT 1000. Except for the young lady mentioned, everyone was happy. One of my LT was a college girl met in DIA, happy with 1000 + Bo's coffee-and-muffin the next morning (gave me her number at Bo's, hopes a repeat). How is that coed any different than the girl who wanted 2000 for ST?
Back to the barfine girls. When I pay p1700, she stays LT and gets p1000 from my barfine. That's no different than getting p500 for ST.
Col, I'm with you. Giving trike / jeep money tip of 1-200 is fine.
Maybe 500P for a SW who has 5 guys a day, but for a student who is trying to better herself and selling her body is the only way to do that.
I'm pretty sure there is no diffference in a SW and a college girl and a bargirl. They all offer the same service. I can't imagine one being more deserving of the money than another (but, I've been wrong before).
Its also possible that prices are simply going up over time. On the other hand, giving a cebuana 2000 for a ST is spoilage (as the board member who gave me her number admitted). Thats twice what is given in Manila. Unless prices have changed, excluding barfine girls:
Manila: 1000 ST / 1500 LT. Outside Manila, subtract 500.
I'm not trying to cheap charlie. Routine spoilage, on the other hand, is to be avoided. My true cheap-charlie side is that I only tip for tryke.
Robb, what do you give them? Other gents?

I'm a newbie in this world, but I've been to a few stip clubs and got some fun out of it. But this was my first time in asia! So be nice with me!
I only had one pro, and I went to the silver dollar, and I had only my left leg inside the place when one of the dancers yelled: gwapo, fuck me please!
I'm not used to that, so I didn't respond and just went in and sat down. To girls were showing of thier "stuff" but had to dance, when one lady sat down and talked like a woman to me, I liked it, so I bought her a drink, then after awhile I asked if I could take her home and it was ok, and she said "best BJ in town" so I was sold! LOL, it was'nt the best, but she was nice the whole night so. But then I met a non pro on dia, I kinda fell for her, but now I realize it was the place (I could have had my sister in a swinsuit on a white beach and going to the tops, and it would have been special!) remember: frist time in asia!) but she told me thing that just didn't add up, like she only had one bf in her life and never gave had, but gave head better then the older chick at silver dollar! And other stuff.
But all in all, it won't be long till I'll be back in ph, if I can only get over the fact that every body lies!
Buts its fine if you only go for sex, but I had hoped for more, but I'll settel for the "one night love fest" too.

Thanks for mentioning me in your post (I love seeing my name in lights). :D But I don't recall posting anything like that. Perhaps you have me confused with someone else that posted something about that.
I still think the amount given to the girl is up to the individual, and how he feels the session went. Personally, I think I would have simply told the girl that she could take the 500p and get out, or give it back and still get out. If price was not discussed before the deed, then she needs to be happy with what she gets. 500p for 3 hours is more than most filipinos will earn for a full day's work, or possibly even a full week.

Robb
I am with Robb on this one, and I agree that 500 is under the odds. This is just my opinion. I never lecture anyone about what they should do or not do. We have to live with the consequences of whatever we do.
I believe 1500 php is a fair amount for short term activity, and especially for students who are desperately trying to put enough cash together for fees without even factoring in their need to eat as well.
I have never paid under 1500 in any P4P activity anywhere (except for most DIA or other meetings where there is no expectation of cash exchange).
I ALWAYS offer transport fees, as I believe that anyone should not be out of pocket for going to the trouble to meet me. I know some guys probably think women should pay them for the privilege of being f*ked by them but I don't happen to feel like that.
I'll be in Cebu for the first time in about 6 weeks and I find the tipping discussion interesting. 500p is less than US$12 and to me seems a little light even in a third world country. Call me weak but if the FL put up a fuss after I paid 500p, I would give her more money if I enjoyed the session. But I wouldn't criticize anybody for paying that if he chooses.
Silver Dollar, Red Lips, and Viking, and Amigos on on my list of places to visit. I assume these are go go type bars where a barfine is paid. Assuming a bf of about 1500p (that seems awfully high) how much do you tip the girls for ST and LT. I often prefer ST over LT.

When the time comes that I cannot afford to pay what I feel is right, I guess that I will stop mongering. I am 45 years old and I and retired military and when I was younger in the military with wife and two kids I could not afford to monger like I do now. But now I am retired and have a great job, single and out of debt, I can monger all I like and it is up to me what I tip and who I see and I respect your same rights, but what I don't like is when guys post that 500P is normal and newbies read that and think they can do the same.

So you think that a honest day's work is equal to giving up your pussy to a foreigner because he has money?

RK and Robbaff always have good advice. The only thing I can add is if you see a girl you like and don't want to pay the bar fine give her your number and have her meet you at your hotel after she gets off work. This has worked for me several times now. I'd rather give her the money than the bar. Plus it's nice being woken up in the middle of the night by a sexy sweet thing.
If anyone can verify that Maya is back at the Silver Dollar kindly let me know! She is a treasure!
