Been oogling number 141 Rainbow 5 recently. I for a fact knows she notices me checking her out as we do make eye contact.
Don't know if she is in Utter Digest or likes me undressing her with my eyes.
I'm conflicted.

Well thank you fellow gents 11 Bravo, BlueNose and Banana Boi!
That was not only quick but also very timely. On the same day (BKK time) that 11 Bravo clarified I managed to find all 3 easily, and then some.
So first of all. For proper, 80-ies or 90-ies style experience (my wild guess as unfortunately at the time I was not able to actually experience Thailand in its fullness), Patpong might just be the best of the Big 3.
Indeed, Rose bar is just where the photos say it will be but now it's a shoe shop next to it. But the sign, and the doorman are still there. Yes it's still a steep climb to a dark little cave, and I swear there's some feel of peckers getting serviced of long gone yesteryear. Mamasan is welcoming and smiling however old and offers to at least sit down for a drink, not even hiding anymore the fact that there are no girls. Having thanked the nice old lady but wanting to go elsewhere, indeed an offer of a good, discounted BJ comes out. But meh. Though if there was at least one or two more girls in there I would totally go for it. And then some.
Come down and there's the ever-ready pussy seller ready to tell you "you no like no problem, I take you to another place". Generally I refuse but it was a long day and besides it's just a short walk so fuck it, lets see. So gents, right next to Thigh bar (the one which unexplainably tries to charge 300 B entrance fee. Like WTF, in Patpong at this time when there's no one around? Be serious, owner), just to the right there is a small door leading up to an almost hidden massage parlor with all the extras. 90 minutes, 4 not superawesome ladies on offer but at 1500 who can argue. Saying no again (hey. I do when I get the feels, nothing to do with looks or prices), offer quickly comes down to 1200 with lack of belief at me still exiting. Such is life.
The street tout is waiting again (like the smug seller that probably knows all the stages) and hands me off to another lady seller just down the street, who then takes me again to World's bar.
Being now familiar with it, picked up Apple right out front, and in we go. And yeah. Looking young might not be the best idea as approach to arranging a BJ right after door closes is pretty hard but polite bargaining brings price of my drink to 100, girls drink to 100 and BJ to 1 k. I know it might be 800 but what the hell. Mamasan says. Want on the bed? Nah mamasan I'm good here. And Apple is out of her panties and bra that I almost have no time to even start on my beer before my dick is nice and warm in her mouth. She takes her time and doesn't rush it and just as I finish the beer in the middle of the bar, staring at the blinking Christmas lights and listening to jittery rock music, I warn Apple about the incoming eruption and she of course gulps it down like a champion, with mamasan on the side doing her paperwork. And afterwards we all have a joke about how I'm a good customer no? Come in, grab a beer, grab blowjob, all happy and off I go.
Descending just downstairs with a spring in my step, indeed I find the Star of the Light open this time! Only the mamasan is outside and "girls are coming in 10 minutes, why don't you have one beer". Thanks mamasan, maybe next time.
I'm starting to like Patpong best. Want boys they are right there, (and I understand a lot of these might not be really gay so could be fun to bring my solo female friends here), want girls they are right there, want some S&M well there's a club for you, and even if you just want to drink there's 2 actual irish pubs in Patpong itself (okay okay. Cowboy has some offerings now like this too, but way too touristy for my taste lately).
Ah and then there was the oddball freelance lady (who seemed to just be a guy's girlfriend) in Badabing from about 2 weeks ago who was with what was probably a Chinese customer, who was more than happy that his "girlfriend" was keen to dance on stage and show off teeny tiny panties. Yours truly enjoyed the show too but later walked off to have a beer elsewhere. Only to have the same lady walk in with a huge grin on her face at recognizing me.
"Hey where's your boyfriend?
"Oh he just customer, go home".
About 30 minutes later it was "Oh my God I fucking love you" from her as she was getting pounded shortly before yours truly filled her young little box with hot cum. Bareback. Some shenanigans with payments before and after but what can a walking ATM here do. Show a little, give a little, smile a lot and in style of Johnny Walker. Keep walking.
Hot Girl Alert.
Not Blackie and tall with bullet type nippals.
A solid 7 point 5 maybe 8. Barmaid said she been there a week, no way in San Jose, I would have noticed.
Avg size, original tittie's. A General would be proud to have this girl as his own.
Number 505.
An Asian said let's go long time. I heard her say No Way Jose hot girls like me only do Short Time. Hahaha.

I'm conflicted.
What's the conflict? Seems you've been "on-deck" for a long time. Maybe it's time to step up to the plate and take a couple of swings. Maybe you strike out, maybe you hit a home run. But until you step into the batter's box, you'll never know. Hahaha.
Just watched a video on YouTube and it showed the temp at night being 89 degrees F. Man that's hot but is it easier that no sun is beating down on you? I'm a night person so maybe that will help but for you guys from anywhere but the south and southwest states how does the high heat and guessing high humidity affect you?

No barfine.
A month goes by on my current trip I showed my appreciation one time in 10 days,. She doesn't look so Clam Happy anymore.
In my defense on a couple occasion s I would have flowed money her way but she does get a lot of customers.
I read some of the posts and visited there today. It is 30 minutes Max and normal people can cum only 1 time for 800 baht. There is another package for 1500, the duration is 1 hours and can make you cum 2 times with BJ or FS.
My dick is a lazy dude, he normally doesn't want to cum for normal BJs and the lady I chose tried really hard about 20-25 minutes to make me cum. She opened her bras and allowed me to squeeze her ass and rub her pussy and finally I released the load into her mouth. After spitting that off she talked happily and was smiling. I felt pity about her and tipped her 100 for the efforts. The place is clean and I will go back again.
Yikes. Popped by Wood Bar this evening. About 7 or so gals outside. To say they were unattractive would be like saying a blue whale is a large animal. Could be one of the ugliest collections of women I have ever seen in BKK. Makes the current Tulip staff look like Miss Universe contestants. Wouldn't let any of them near my unit.
Also did a walk of 24 and 24/1 where there was the odd 6 or 7 in the looks department. Guess I'm spoiled by what I find online and of course what I'm paying for the online gals. Oh well.
Pre-OP
Monday, dentist finished. Messaged my Sakura Akasuri masseuse but she was unavailble, so booked Friday, and passed due to Tuesday's appointment. Tuesday it was Tulip. Wednesday, I was mentally incapacitated (I. E. I had gotten my brains f*cked out.) Thursday it was Paradise 4 hand massage. Friday, Sakura Akasuri, which I probably should have passed on, but it's just too enjoyable. Saturday was my fav watering hole and the GFE.
Sunday, major ops. Out to Chatachak on the MRT (DON'T get off at Chatachak Park, but it's the NEXT station, Kamphaeng Phet that puts you right on the edge of the market, in the most interesting section, 26). Looking for my favorite shop, of course, had lost the business card. But a grid search (the market is a grid) resulted in success. Then on for another fav. Here, no luck, a LOT of back and forth. But luck WAS with me as I walked back to 26. Passing a shop, recognized the merchandise. And, with mask down, owner recognized me; he'd just moved from 8 to 10.
Final target, and an important one: the resupply base, Viva 26 bar. Great bar for refreshments, a cold drink (or 2), some great music, not the usual stuff, but some eclectic tunes. Sadly, KIA, didn't survive. A REAL loss as it's been a mandatory stop for at least a decade.
Fine, no resupply. Back to the MRT, from Chatachak to Si Lom.
Thanks Blue Note (@#@%) for the can't miss directions to Rose. Easily found it. Yes the sign above the door is still there, the door was open, and I could feel the tractor beam rays trying to draw me in. And Zenminded1, you are SO correct about that feeling of peckers being serviced from the past as you walk up the long dark stairway to [S]...[/S] But only distant echos, and I was able to resist.
Given no Viva 26, over to Foodland's Took Lae Dee restaurant for some liquid refreshments. Chatachak has NOT changed, and it's HOT.
Battle Report
From there, I am very familiar with the path to Meet the World. Only 2 ladies outside, but one was my target. I'd noticed that during my previous cluster suck, she was lubed as I practiced my braille reading. A subsequent visit for oral confirmed the lube. So now the OP was: FS followed by another beer, then a BBBJ. Well, that was the plan. Both ladies followed me inside, one on each side, massaging, but I quickly selected my preference and the other graciously disappeared.
The first part worked out: FS in the curtained chamber (2 other ladies relaxing inside, dislodged, one simply moving to the bench across the aisle) was, for me, 1200 baht, CFS. The bed left a lot to be desired, lumpy and saggy don't do it justice (I thought one area might be an old milking table without the plug). I can confirm the lube (shame to waste a natural lube) was genuine. Great service. However, now came face to face with the harsh reality. I was out of ammo. I mean there was nothing left in the magazine. Don't get old. But I accept reality, had enjoyed myself, so perhaps the double shot fantasy will have to wait for another time. Total damage: 100 baht beer, 150 baht lady drink, 1200 baht service = 1450.
WIR: definitely, both oral and FS, just perhaps not on the same visit.
Zenminded1
On previous visits, walking along Patpong 1, there was a middle-aged lady with a laminated massage card, saying she had a bar with a lot of ladies. Personally, I give touts a WIDE bearth. I DON'T think it's like the dangerous OLD days with upstairs rip-off bars, especially with the decline of Patpong (will always be grateful to my Nana bar fine guide who pulled me right when a tout turned left instead of straight up the stairs on my FIRST visit). Still, I figure those touts are making money somehow [S]...[/S] YMMV.

If I'm lucky enough to get a seat on the BTS or MRT, I CAN'T lean back. My shirt is drenched, and with the a/c inside, it's that damp clammy feel. Saturday, arrived SOAKED, rain, sweat, and that sweat where you wear a rain jacket but still get soaked from your own sweat due to the heat/humidity. Girl hung my shirt outside so it'd be dry when we finished.
But I will say yesterday and today, in the afternoon, a bit less humidity and a breeze. A world of difference. Talking today with a Thai civilian, he said things should start to improve. Certainly hope so. But still having thundershowers.

Recently a Star from Rainbow 4 moved over to Rainbow 5. This Star likes getting 5 Squids about once a month from me. I'm ok with it, liked it better when she was on stage pre COVID Topless. Haha,
Mook thinks WTF why am I giving her more? Am I all of a sudden Chopped Liver? Resulting cold shoulder treatment. Mook gets 2 squids per.
Difference being Mook gets compensated way more than once a month. I'm not ok with compensating the ex Rain 4 girl more than once a month.
Bargirl Dynamics.
P.S. The are. 4 girl makes huge money but she gets antsy when she Feels it's that time of the month.
So yes girls do think about nice gentlemanly gentlemen who appreciate them.
Definition of appreciatio- Show Me the Money. LOL.

The BTS and MRT are air conditioned and a great way to get around. I DEFINITELY recommend spending the 100 baht each for their travel cards, fill up, then top up as needed. I put 1000 baht on each. A month later, when I leave, my BTS will probably have 100 baht left, the MRT 700. No worries, I never try to get money back, just use the next trip. WORST case, the cards expire and you have to pay another 100 baht for a new one, BUT any unused balance from the old IS transferred to the new. DEFINITELY beats having to stand in line for the ticket machines or to get change at the office every time you travel. Just swipe in, travel, swipe out. Taxis are cheap, daytime, start at 35 baht (dead as dodos are the unmetered taxis, all metered for decades), and most have their air conditioning working. But taxis are subject to traffic congestion, while the BTS / MRT are not. I walk, but if tired take a taxi to the BTS station for onward travel.
As Nyezhov says, stay hydrated. Water, they have Gatorade and Perrier here, and I find a nam-a-now soda (it's lime (they say lemon but it IS lime) squash with soda water) VERY refreshing. Not sweet, tangy.
Given I walk a lot in the daytime, so my fitbit says, I'm wondering if I can write this trip off as medical expenses on my taxes. Just following my doctor's orders to get out and exercise. But I will say that NOT all the huffing and puffing comes from walking [S]...[/S]. You'll be fine, traffic stops for pedestrians in crosswalks, and there are places to sit along the way.

...
Forget about classic T-shirts or shirts, they're much too hot. The pic shows what you should wear in Thailand. The flimsiest of cotton. You can buy them on the islands and in Pattaya, not sure about Bangkok.
Also, short trousers, NO SOCKS, bare-foot in cheap plastic open shoes or sandals you can buy anywhere.
The BTS is unfortunately much too cold to be healthy after the outdoor heat. Why is it kept so chilly? My hunch is because they want the smells given off by people not to be noticeable, an instance of Thai saving face.
