Definitely get a local sim card.
So, a thought just struck me. While my cellphone service provider does offer near-free calls and free data (to a cap), would it be better to buy a Hungarian sim card and use a Hungarian number to call the girls? Also, are emojis / smileys not allowed? So far, admins seems to have purged my posts of them.
Yes, definitely get a local sim card. For various reasons, many girls will only pick up calls from a Hungarian number.
I have had a Vodafone sim card that I have used for several years, but T Mobile also has plans available for tourists too.
Both companies have stores in Budapest with English speaking salespeople to set you up with a basic calling and messaging plan.
I will write up a separate post in a few days about what to expect when contacting girls.
Different price, different service, different looks and quality
20 k is the basic service by the girls from the next door! And if you want extras, is they able to do it. They ask extra fees for every extras! I know its not fair but 70% of the girl are so!
A know its a table!
Response to SIM card question
Thanks for all the answers, though I had hoped that I wouldn't need a new SIM card. I might risk it and try to call the girls I have found interesting, and if I don't get any answers, I can always get a SIM card afterwards.
As to the idea that they won't date a foreigner, even if I call with a Hungarian number, won't they just deny my request once they pick up the phone and realize I don't speak Hungarian and am clearly from another country? And, while on the subject, while I live in and have been raised in Europe, I am of Middle Eastern heritage. I know that for some girls this is a deal breaker (also, I am a staunch atheist, though at first sight one might think I am of a certain religion, which is also a deal breaker for some), and I won't be surprised if that is true in Budapest as well. I have seen a few profiles online that explicitly state they don't date dark skinned men (though, I would probably say I have an olive tan rather than a dark tan), but besides those, how high are the chances they will deny me due to my Middle Eastern looks?
