Not a great selection, I think because all the girls went to the countryside for Pchum Ban Festival. Girl wanted big money $100 I broke out in laughter, massage $6 / hour, BBBJ and I'd give her a 6 on performance and an 8 for effort. $40 / hour.
My friend had a couple girls and didn't bust a nut after an hour and the girls got dressed after an hour. They said they were too sore, he boom boom too long, give me a break, the girls will take $30, but working on holidays and all I was happy with my girl. My friend I told him lower the price if two girls can't get you off in an hour then they're not worth much.
Had a big fight with them, two VN girls and no one could speak English, good thing I know K'mai I reamed them out and told my friend give them $20 each, there not even worth that, but just to get out of the place.
Now the reason given to me is the girls don't like to go more than an hour because, they're not suppose to be giving extra services and there were signs up in K'mai saying the girl's don't do extras.
I give the place a big zero, it use to be pretty good. Oh well there loss. I won't be back. I don't like being on the clock and I speak for my friend too. Your not done until I'm finished and if you thing your going to get another $30 for the next hour you really are wrong. A; so if you do go you'll need someone that can speak K'mai, but the people that speak English might have been off?
Would have been better off grabbing a FL off the street for $20-$30 LT.

I have the most luck these days at local beer gardens and some semi-private restaurants / clubs. But as you know, these are not for tourists or those without Khmai language or Khmai friends to accompany.
I have yet to try the OK clubs you mentioned earlier out near the airport. I live too far in the other direction for an easy strike there. But I'll give them a go sometime.

I still seek that elusive massage place where the lady first does a *real* massage and then moves on to other pleasures. The massage places in the tourist areas are a rip, and I do not go to the tourist areas much anyways. Will post if I find something worth while.
Sounds a bit like my meanhur experience. Well the 2nd time atleast; asking ridiculous price and paying for a 2nd room and skipping the massage. I guess best way would be to first just take the massage in a non-private room (transparent) window. And once it is almost over negotiate for FS and move to the private rooms upstairs. Its how I would do it next time when I am in pp again. Guess it would be 6+6 fo the rist massage hour and then 6 + whatever you negotiate for the 2nd hour. Seems like that would easy go to 40$ or higher. Can't imagine that is how it us supposed to work. .
Anyone tryed the mean hur hotel by now? Would be happy if someone with khmer language could try it out and explain how it al is supposed to work. Also their pooltable area and how that is supposed to work interests me. Thanks for any volunteers who would be willing to sacrifice themselves.

If you come over to St. 2004 along side of the Airport, just get yourself a room in a guesthouse, lots of them over here and most are $15 / night with A / C and there's 9 Dragons on Northbridge St I think it's $25, nice gym, pool and restaurant.
You have to be able to speak K'mai or have a guide, friend that does. If you want I can get you an escort that speaks English and K'mai or myself if I'm not busy.

Looking for "Gems" on limited time frame.
(note; these are only my opinions and observations that may or may not help other rookies)
Back in Phnom Penh for a short holiday and plan was to find a "Gem" meaning a 8-10 in looks and ready to pay above market for the quality.
Spent a few nights looking and all I can say is the "Gems" are few and far between. It is still pre high season and things may look better in a month and rosters can change from night to night. Also the few really attractive girls might get booked early in advance.
I quickly changed my hopes to just finding a "cute" 6-7 looks girl with a good attitude around 136 street. Here are a few notes. I seem only to have the energy for about 3 or 4 bars on any given evening so more to come.
Cavalry Bar.
Spotted couple cute ones out front, went inside for a look. As is often the case absolutely nothing looking good inside, quickly went back outside before I was rushed to buy a drink by some low end girls. Visited with the two outside cute girls for a little bit- they had nice attitude.
Lemon Lounge-
Looked promising from the outside, went inside and there were what looked like a bunch of cuties maybe even some gems. After I bought one very potential gem a drink and flirted a bit I found out why, the place had bunch "virgins". (no go with customers) on staff. I asked the pushy 40 year old that had been annoying me the whole time which girls went with customers, she just gave a vague point and says "some".
Sizzlers.
Tried this one three nights because it looked to have by far the best line up of girls- But unless you are Asian or a local expat. Good luck!

Fun friendly attitude, handful of cute girls on deck- but quite a few of low end girls too.
Try Loco Bar on street 130, next to 136 Bar.
It's a fairly new bar with about 20 girls and some real cuties amongst them. All the girls are very friendly and don't hassle you for ladydrinks. The music isn't deafeningly loud and as a bonus, the place has the best toilets of any bar I've been in. There are a few virgin girls but plenty who will go out.
Also Golden Vine on street 108 is worth a visit. Usually a fun atmosphere there, and plenty of girls, almost all of whom go out. Some real lookers too.
Oasis on street 136 can be enjoyable. Lots of girls and often a real buzzy atmosphere.
Airforce on street 104 is a must visit, just to experience 40-50 girls in one bar. But check your bill carefully if you buy a lot of drinks, there seem to be frequent 'mistakes' in adding your bill up.
Thought would give 104 street a look.
Vortex- immediate a very pretty girl was very friendly, I had the sense this time to ask if she barfines before

And she distinctly says "you get boxing"- but finally gets dressed, snatches moneyand storms out.
Here is the question, do I need to worry about her threat of sending guys for "boxing me" up? (I'm just a whimpy middle aged nerdy guy that can not fight) or is this just an empty threat? Not sure how it works here in
Phnom Penh with this type of situation.
Think I'll keep away from 104 street anyways.

I you can bargain its $6 plus girl $30 and she pays the $6 for the massage. So all in all $36. I assume she get a discount on the massage fee or doesn't even pay it. The going rate shouldn't be more than $36. Make sure you take the full hour to bust a nut since they charge $12 for both rooms.

Actually in a case like this, I guess even in Thailand these days, you probably need to first also get a quote for ST in addition to a quote for LT. And ask them what LT means. It's annoying when that happens. It's a scam and they know it. And so many try to pull it, knowing if they raise enough fuss they'll win. Usually. A guy I knew used to pre-empt it by saying if you leave at 1:00, it's this much, at 3:00 it's this much, at 6:00 this much and so on. (I never have, to me that degree of controlling things really puts a damper on the vibe, but maybe that's just me) But maybe a more effective angle would be to use a hotel where her making noise wouldn't be a big deal, and as she starts up you can just look at her with a confident smile on your face.
But, one thing, you assumed ST should be half. I'm not a local, and not sure what ST typically goes for in those places, but that might have been low. I tend to think it's normally higher than that for ST out of those particular bars. If it was me, I probably would have given her less than the agreed-on $50 but maybe not that low. $35 maybe.
Who here knows typical ST rates for guys like him / me, basically tourists to PP who don't know the current price structures.
I am in the lucky case in some ways as I normally only ever go for ST out of those bars. While a lot of tourists will pay more for a ST for an expat that is absolutely acceptable. It is still possible to get $15 ST even out of the hostess bars $20 is the more accepted and asked for price. $25 given that she is breaking the deal and causing a fuss she shouldn't be complaining too much. The boxing thing can happen if you are a complete A hole but it will all happen within the hour if it is going to occur. My advice if you do have problems like this would be to go and stay in another hotel for the night $10 well spent.
It happens lot when girl agrees for LT and starts making excuses. It happened to me twice and in each case told her politely that she is going earlier and will get less money. I have paid $15. 00 each time for the girl in these cases. When I agree on ST, it is usually $20. 00 agreed fee even though the girl may initially ask for $30. 00. I prefer ST as then I get to try more girls
I've never understood all these problems over short time vs long time. You buy a girl out, you take her back and you see what happens. If she wants to stick around after the first round and you want her around, then you let her stay. If either or both of you don't want that, then you let her go. It's not rocket science. And usually there's no way to know ahead of time which way it's going to go, so don't bother trying to decide or negotiate in advance.
(Or is the problem that newbies read forums like these and then come to Asia and want to have an exact program of events for an exact price? Because it just doesn't work that way.)
