I started going there when it was one small room with 1 balcony in the back before they expanded like 10 x into the massive venue it is now, and yeah there is no place that I know of exactly like it in Thailand. In any go-go or P4 P bar every girl is available. I've heard girls turn guys down, but I'm nothing special and it's never happened to me. In Bangkok clubs the girl may be available as I think there's much more of a gray area non working girl and P4 P in Thailand than in other countries, you just need to have some game. But any go-go is similar to Tijuana. And yeah there may be no one bar like Hong Kong, but I sort of put together all of Nana Plaza or even all of Soi Nana or all of Cowboy, it's really easy to walk out of one bar and right into the one next door. I think HK may have more like 200 girls on a busy night but some big go-gos like in Pattaya come close, and again there are many of them. Sadly the big ones are on Walking Street which I rarely visit anymore, but that's a (worn out) Pattaya topic.

And yeah the maseros in the Tijuana bars can be really annoying, and can try to short change customers or play that stupid hide the stacks of peso coins on the edges of the round tray trick. But also in Thailand need to keep track of the bin especially if buying a lot of drinks over a long period of time. So similarities there on getting scammed on the negative side.

As for shows, pre COVID at least there were sleazier shows in parts of Thailand than in Hong Kong even with the dildos and shaving cream and occasional pussy eating. But the ones I can think of were in Pattaya (Windmill, X-Zone from the past) more so than Bangkok. But some small bars even on Soi Cowboy can be sleazier than anything in Hong Kong, like getting a BJ behind the bar more or less out in the open or even having a girl sit on your dick right in the bar.

I guess what I'm getting at is of course Thailand / Bangkok is different than Tijuana. I love both places though and I think there are a lot of similarities mostly because of the vast variety of types of places in Thailand, some of which come very close to that Honk Kong experience. Just maybe not under 1 roof.

Why waste time trying to convince a disinterested girl to come with you when there are other attractive ones who do. She should be trying to convince YOU to take her. I've been using Schwab at the ATM here and notice fees seem to be 220 baht at the different ATM's I've tried. When we get the ATM rebate from Schwab will it be at the rate for each day I used the ATM or will it be at the rate of the day we get the rebate. IE.

Jan 1 220 baht fee, rate at 34.5 = 6.38.

Jan 2 220 baht fee, rate at 34.1 = 6.45.

Jan 31 I think when we get the rebate lets says rate is 33.3.

Will we get $13.21 back (rate on day of rebate).

Or 6.38+6.45 = $12.83.

Any one else penny pinchers and figured this out? Thanks!

Showing my age, Patpong, a LONG time ago, was notorious for it's upstairs' bars [I]shows[/I], displaying the various [I]utilities[/I] that a vagina could be used for, shooting, writing, drinking [S]...[/S] Back then, caution had to be used as some bars were notorious for MAJOR rip-offs. Solution given to me was to pull a bg from Nana have her be my bodyguard. It worked. I vaguely remember recently reading somewhere about some rip-offs having reappeared.

Check out the ROD's Reports of Distinction, [B]Blue Nose[/B] reports on BJ bars. I can personally vouch, Nov 2022, for Meet the World (several FR's written), and, previous years, SOL Star of Light (though Nov 2022 closed, hopefully for renovations, though, for me, one [I]renovation[/I], LONG time ago, when they closed off the bar's curtain cutouts, was a real loss). Can be fun for some, YMMV.

If not, try the next, and if you've exhausted that bar, move to another. I used to try and bookmark, thinking that after 3 or 4 bars, I'd remember the best, then return and pull. If not, I slip the waitress a 20 with a "this is yours', and ask for a FRESH soda water (nothing more yuch than flat [I]anything[/I]). Keeps the senses and performance working.

Agree with the people watching, for whatever reason, Morning and Night, sitting on the rail. Catch the attention of one of the charcoal grillers, some skewers of pork, some of chicken, with at least one skewer of chilis to make things [I]tasty[/I]. Seems that the later it got, the taster they were. Also enjoy people watching on Tilac's veranda, though perhaps due to historical memory, I still prefer the grilled offerings from Nana.
