There's no need to be trapped, unless you want to be. I chose to find a GF after 2 1/2 years of heavy mongering, and went through a lot of girls before I found the first one, who I was with for 4 years. Then, after that, I had lots more misadventures over 3 years, before finding the current GF, who is an improvement on the first one and a real "keeper" IMO. But, I understand and respect your choice and the freedom it brings.

Please... Emporium is our BTS stop... we are in that place every day it seems like... Paragon and Graysorn are common places for this Issan girl....
But to be honest... going to Central World and shopping at Espirit / BeeBee or such and spending 5,000 baht in many many clothes blows her mind. She only has two vices.. shoes and perfume really... She must have 40,000 baht in perfume. Every trip in I am doing the duty free for perfume... but that's my gift and what I do for her so I can not complain.
However I do have to shop at some higher end stores for work, and while we are there I like to go to some female higher end shops and watch these sales girls with attitudes be forced to kiss some Issan Ass. :D

I'm sure that your poor Isaan GF is better off (because of you) than the salesgirls at Emporium. They may work at Chanel, or Louis Vuitton. But, they're likely still pulling in only 7,000-10,000/month.

Yes I know what they make.. but it is their attitudes that really kill me. When I walk into a higher end store and they look at me like Farang tourist Scum and only become friendly when they see the purchases it kills me. You can get better customer service at DQ then at many of these stores.
What does goad me at times... if the TGF goes into a store and they won't give her the time of day but they immediately give her service when they see she is with farang... And it's even funnier how these same sales girls who will not wait on the TGF will somehow end up giving me their phone numbers after they see some of the shopping...
So yes I do like to play a few games in return... call me childish... :D

I like to pass through emporium to check out the talent rather than buy anything much except food and coffee so I NEVER take the GF there. Its usually before or after an Oily visit.

On seeing people smoking everywhere in the towns. Hua Hin's not far behind, too. Even the monks smoke in the temple at Kao Takiab!
