I dont think its possible to meet them at their place, so we met at another hotel since my hotel not were girlfriendly.

If they walk up to you and ask you if you need a taxi, garranteed to be a rip off. Once you are introduced, then, take note of what that taxi looks like because that will be the taxi company you will need to use around Sofia. The company is OK (973 2121). The logo is Blue with two red dots. Many taxis try to similate this name and logo but, beware.
