All of the internet ads were fake. The asking price was 70. Never meet anyone from Finland. However I have to say that the normal girls were absolutely friendly and easy to approach. Most internet girls were Romanian. Don't come just to party with pros or you will be disappointed.

Went tonight to Soho. More or less 25 girls. Wanted 200 euros for one hour. I wouldn't pay that for anybody. I bought quite a few drinks to the girls, cost around 10 euros. I am a first timer here, and also relatively new to the entire scene. Based on reports from fellow people here in the forum, I went and spent some time in Kallio looking for Thai massage places. The major bad news is that the rates have simply gone up. No longer (unlike the previous reports here), can you get a BJ or sex for $50 or so. The cheapest BJ, with rubber was $80. Believe me I asked around at at least 10 places.

I ended up at 2 different places on 2 days. One time only for a massage which was reasonably good. The girl was not trained, but was sumptuous enough for fun, but she simply refused a BBBJ. She was a bit on the heavy side, but she knew how to talk, and how to titillate, and was actually beautiful. She is one of the 3 places on a little circle on Harjutori off the main street at Helsinginkatu.

The second time, I decided to go for "everything" 30 minutes. This would cost me Euro 110 (30 for massage, 80 for sex), which was OK, given that the girl looked great, and had a real, nice rack. Here comes the bad part. Once the payment was complete, she started playing, took her clothes off and kept insisting on "f* me now" instead of starting off with a massage. Since I had not had any action for weeks, I could not hold back. Once we were done (maybe 10 minutes) she simply refused to massage me, saying that this is it. When I insisted, she said OK I will give you a 10 minute massage. By this time, I was so pissed (am used to much better service in Thai places) that I simply said F* you and left the place. The place is at Fleminginkatu. I do not recommend it, OR, pay later.

Otherwise my visit to the club Soho was good as well. Compared to other reports I was lucky because most girls we between 20-30 years old but some older ladies where hanging around their as well.

What I like is that they won't pressure you to say yes right away. I told my girl to come back after couple hours because I still wanted to enjoy my night but she stayed and we got super drunk together.

My experience at Soho was amazing, but small hint is if you do take a girl from the club you should always tip the bouncer 20€ otherwise they will give you a bullshit story that you can't leave with the girl.

I live in the region and spend a lot of time in Helsinki, so I thought I would share my perspective. I am not overly concerned with cost, so would rather pay a bit more for quality as a way of background.

1. In hotels there are generally no problems to bring a girl up, at least the ones I have staid most in. Scandic Marski and Hotel Torni. At Torni they have a basement level bar which you can enter from the street and then take an elevator straight to your room if you want to avoid the walk of shame past reception. They also have a rooftop bar which you can take the elevator to, less obvious to get off on your floor with the girl on the way down. There are also several Omena hotels, which are understaffed and which you enter using a code you get when reserving.

2. In Kallio area, a taxi ride from downtown, there is a cluster of sex shops and strip clubs. All offering extras. Along with street Walkers. Have only been there ones, and it is quite seedy in my opinion but good value for Money. There are also Thai massages places offering happy endings and more.

3. Downtown by Erinkatu and around those blocks there are some streetwalkers, but usually not that high quality. I picked up a blond petite Eastern European spinner once who took me to her room and a south American girl who I took to the hotel once. They all have their own places, often shared with another girl. The spinner had a roommate who wanted to join in, but I was not in the mood as she looked quite run down and probably on drugs.

4. Soho Club and Alcatraz Club (the latter is in the area where the street walkers downtown are) are my normal pick. These are similar to bars in Spain or Portugal, where you can have a drink, chat to girls and bring them home. At Alacatraz there is also strip tease, and you are expected to tip each stripper EUR 5. Entrance to both clubs is EUR 10-15. Soho is much better, with typically 10+ girls a weekday and 20+ on Fridays and Saturdays. At Alcatraz, it is usually just a small handful of girls. I would any time recommend Soho, but Alcatraz is 1 minute from my favorite hotel so I usually check that out first, if no luck there then only 10-15 minute walk to Soho. Prices are EUR 150-300 and sometimes services are limited (I. E. No anal or BBBJ) but generally I have always been very satisfied. There is no bar fine or anything like that.

5. One disadvantage of Helsinki is that it is quite small, and after a few times girls you have been with recognize you. The drawback is of course that they latch on to you when you enter the club, which is inconvenient if you are after trying something new. But, if you ask them to leave you alone they do. Things are very sane and safe. Many girls are from Eastern Europe and stay in, or commute to, Helsinki for years. The advantage is that if you meet a good provider, you can call her again. I have 2-3 which I really enjoyed and sometimes call when I am there. Great if one is not up for going out to cruise the clubs!

6. Apart from the above two clubs, there are a number of strip clubs as well. These do not always have any girls who will leave with you and are basically "champagne for EUR 1000" types of hostess places. I have not been to all of them, but my advice is to stay on. Would be happy if someone else has a recommendation of any one of them for mongering!

7. Finally, there are also clubs where it is fairly easy to pick up non-pros like Lady Moon and MilliKlubbi. Have done it a few times when in town over the weekend. Lots of alcohol and drunk girls.
