a personal suggestion to my friends here,

1) if you visite hamburg for business or a normal trip, then just follow my tipps and would not be dissapointed.

Happy New Year gentlemen. I learned that Germans take the holiday season serious, with nearly every place of business closed around Christmas and New Years, including the FKK clubs. Instead, I decided to head down to the Reeperbahn, which is essentially the 1980's Times Square of Hamburg. I'll give a brief overview of what I saw firsthand, so hopefully if anybody is passing through they'll know more than I did going in.

First place I went was called Herbertstrasse. It's a little side street off the Reeperbahn, closed out of sight by pedestrian walls so that only men can walk in. Inside it's like the Amsterdam redlight district, with women literally sitting in windows in bra / panties. They are very aggressive for business, and will open their windows to chat with you as you walk by. There's all types of women. Mostly middle to late 30's eastern europeans. Everything is negotiable, but from my conversations I was offered "everything" for about 150 euros. Was at the club last Sunday. Got off the place at 7 pm and since I had someone picking me up at the airport was at my Hotel by 8 PM. At first I thought it would.

Friday the 17th.

1st time to Hamburg.

Original driver asked if I have been there before and I replied no, this is my 1st trip to Hamburg. He said its far, and if you don't like the place, its a wasted trip. I got the feeling that they just didn't want to make that 40E fare. Very strange. The two drivers suggested a FKK in town, I asked what's the name, they said it's VIP. I have not heard of that place and hesitated in going there.

I ended going to the Reeperbahn that night and it was a nice visit to the RLD.
