The girl who makes to order for me is extremely busy for several hours, and would not suprise me if she takes 150 Baht per 10 mins. She only has one helper. In her busiest hours she could be taking 1000 Baht per hour, and even after overheads that is good money. About 5 miles from Buriram there is a lady that sells chickens on the side of the road. Also somtom and rice and some chips and drinks. On a slow day she will sell 100 chickens, at 150thb each-you can do the math. I am building a a resort complex nearby, and it seems that her stand is busy for the whole time she is open (11-4). About one mile closer to town is another chicken place, and her sales are higher. It seems that a great number of people don't either have the facilities to cook, or are too lazy. The money is there is somone wants to make it, the side of the road places have very little overhead, and can make their own hours.
