I like Colombia. If the country was as safe as some European countries, for example, it would be paradise. I have been to Medellin (many times), Cartagena and Bogota. My favorite city is Medellin for many reasons especially the chicas. My order of preference overall is Medellin, Bogota then Cartagena. I plan to visit Cali early next year and will decide where it fits in that equation.

Get out of Gringo Land, Colombia and away from where all the tourist are going and traveling. Those places attract all kinds of people and it's a mixed bag. Go to the places that are rich in culture and authentic to the roots. The people are more humble, respectful, open and kind. The difference's will be phenomenal.

This is true of any country I've visited or lived in (more than a few).

I think you will find Cali slower than your three favorite cities you listed. It's a slightly larger and more spread out version of Bucaramanga and it has even more green spaces. Driving is more civilized than any of your three favorites also. I don't have a good explanation for it, it is immediately noticeable. Cali is famous for salsa and dancing. It is also famous for armed guerillas and its namesake cartel that now operates in offshoots. Riding around town you will notice many more heavily armed military patrols of the sort you see in northern Mexico. You do need to be careful, especially in the areas outside of town. The Cauca valley is not under the full control of the government. The final note I will make is there are a lot fewer international restaurants in Cali. I can honestly say most of my restaurant meals are at the upscale Italian chain Storia the'Amore. I usually grab breakfast at a Carulla and lunch on fruit and almonds.

The mongering is better in Brazil but I prefer the aura (for want of a better word) of Colombia. I certainly look forward to taking MongerHunger's advice sometime in the future and visit smaller towns and cities but I imagine that would have to be a non mongering tour. I Cali I'd be looking to hit as many casas as possible.

Cali trip report
Just got back from 8 days in Cali. I was there 2 years ago. Stayed in the same Air BnB as last time. I like to stay in the south part of town. It's farther away from most of the casas, but more trees and really nice area. Only one of my What's App contacts from 2 years ago still worked. I was disappointed I couldn't get a hold of my favorite from last time, but I don't send these girls money when I'm back in the states, so they're not going to send me any changes to their contact info. Anyway, the contact I still had was good and saw her a couple of times at my place. I also see a provider here in the states who is from Cali. She sent me her sister's contact and went out with her one time. It was a so-so experience. As has been written many times in this thread, Cali is not like Medellin, Bogota, Cartagena, and I will throw in Sosua, in terms of volume of girls readily available. But it's certainly not bad. I highly recommend Cali for anyone looking for a different experience. I tried finding girls on Facebook similar to how it works in Medellin. I didn't put a ton of effort into it. I probably tried friending 50-100 girls. I think I made 1 or 2 connections out of all that, but no one gave me their what's app to connect with. There are agencies down there. I look at the Don Colombia web site just for fun sometimes, which has a lot of the agency info. But I never saw anyone from the agencies. I went to Bar La 20 three times. Not a lot of lookers there, but I am not picky. Later in the week I went to Bar Olympus for the first time. I liked this place much more than Bar La 20. Better girls IMO and slightly cheaper. It was also a little closer to me on the south end. Went to a nice massage place with full service closer to me in a high end neighborhood in the south. It's called Saramar. Shout out to Triple Darkness for showing me that place 2 years ago! I went to Saramar 3 times. It's good. The rate is 230 k per hour. Also went to Caras Lindas and Cyber World one day and had really good luck with the girls at both of those places. I really enjoyed my vacation, I played golf 5 times in 8 days and went to 2 America de Cali soccer games. Went to the Rio Pance one day. Well, that wraps it up. I'll be back to Cali again for sure. Probably in another couple of years.
I certainly look forward to taking MongerHunger's advice sometime in the future and visit smaller towns and cities but I imagine that would have to be a non mongering tour.
It certainly does not have to be a non mongering tour unless you want it to be. Generally the mid sized cities have populations of a few hundred thousand people and have a mongering scene that generally caters to locals. There are clubs, casas, escorts, street scene, etc, basically whatever you want. Some of the women have never been with a Gringo before and I have met more than a few during my travels. Most are intrigued and have great attitudes and show interest. Their price range is usual a fraction of those in the big cities (more than a population of 1 million people). Now when dealing with small towns and pueblos the population is generally on a few hundred to only a few thousand people (under 100,000) and the monger scene is very limited if there is one. My sweet spot is the mid sized cities (population under 1 million people) for general safety, food selection, accomodations, infrastructure, friendly atmosphere, mongering, authenticity, vibe, less traffic, easier navigation, most have access to local airports and of course, less Gringos.

Club Shalom
Nice report. Are there public courses in Cali? Any comments on them?
Club Shalom is public. 9 hole track that you go around twice. It's a lot of fun. Good condition, but not great. 150 mil for the round with caddy. Then, tip your caddy another 100. Great lunch there too. Food and drinks another 50 maybe. So the whole experience for about $75 US is pretty good.

Did you travel with your own clubs or rent there. I'd love to get in 9/18 while in Cali.

La clinica del dr Amor"
"A happy medium would be Caras Lindas and Clinica Dr. Amor".
I just went to la clinica and pledge to never return.
The bouncer at the entrance told me that if I go, I have to pick a girl. FK them.
Plus its more expensive than other options around like la 20 ans son sonero (170 for 30 min white bracelet); you can't even talk to the girls before hand.

As of 3 months ago you weren't forced to take a girl, but YMMV. I do see guys that just sit there for an hour ogling girls and not picking, but it's usually the Colombians kkk. They'll be on their second beers when I roll in and still there after I do my hour session.

So far I've been to three Colombian cities and my rating is as follows:
(1) Medellin;.
(2) Bogota;.
(3) Cartagena.
When I visit Cali next month I'll see where it fits in.
