A truly "topnotch" second post (wink)
I know a rather troll first post, but I guess I will see Friday if old topnotch managed to get the place shutdown. For the record I've been charged entry fees and I'm a white dude, but then I was wearing a big sign saying 'I'm a tourist'
Plenty of other better spots in wanchai and from the sound of it topnotch should be hanging out in LKF anyway.
That was a much more constructive second post, Topno, erm, I mean 1234 (wink).
Enjoy LKF.
Or if you prefer, I will be at Bar 109 (across the road from Makati) from 1830 HK time on Saturday night. We can enjoy a beer and watch the place get shut down as a result of topnotch's efforts, or indeed if topnotch was correct we can drink a beer in sad remembrance of the closed and locked doors.
But seriously, dude, come and have a beer. It doesn't matter if you are white, brown, yellow, black or whatever. I will buy you a beer. And the important thing, we can watch little bunnies walk by and you can chill out.
Cheers
Hong Kong January / February
Guys,
Cathay has a deal on in January and I think about going across for 10 days. Only been once, when my break was interrupted by work. I loved it and fancy going back.
I stayed in Wanchai at the Cosmopolitan and was happy with it. Had a great time at Neptune and generally loved the gf experience & "sleaze". However, get the impression that the area is no longer quite so hot. Is that true? Would it be better staying elsewhere in HK? Or should I go back to Thailand? Going in October and will report back on patts and BKK.
Grateful for any advice / recommendations.
Peter
Makati still alive and kicking
Despite Topnotch's best efforts, Makati was still alive and kicking last night.
And I am confident it will be pumping away this afternoon (Sunday) as well.
Funny old world.
Cheers.
