When I first moved here the darker Isaan gals were very attractive to me, now I definitely prefer the lighter skin more Chinese looking women. I'm also not a fan of the Isaan facial structure. So girls will lie and photoshop especially those traits. The faces are often photoshopped (or mod'ed with app filters) and look almost cartoonish at times but are often ok to foreigners as they look "exotic", but I've not been there so can't tell how they compare with their real faces.
