Blue Wave
Will be heading to Cambodia for a few days in a couple of months. I've done all the tourist bits of Siem Reap many times and since they cleared the freelancers out of Temple Club the best options in town were street walkers or blue wave.
Although it's a bit of a dive I was quite fond of blue wave, and one girl in particular, however I seem to remember hearing it shut down. Does anyone know if it just moved or if it's gone for good. If it's gone I think might skip SR and head straight to Phnom Penh.
Can I get a Cambodian visa from the Siem Reap airport upon arrival? How much is it in USD please? Are the lines efficient or not so? Thanks very much for any replies. Going in November.
To D cup,
Visa on arrival your passport must be valid for 9 days before expire 20 USD and 2 passport photo and a empty page in your passport for the visa sticker.

Was with company so didn't enter but it was certainly open and in different location. It's on the stretch of main street opposite of Pub street and the outside night food market. I wish I could have checked the place out. Due to change of location they have to adapt a little since it's quite in the open and I saw a backpacker couple walking out of there and it looked as if they just had drinks only.
Golden orange hotel, Doug is very helpful.
Doug is very helpful but Golden Orange is not in the vicinity of Pub Street. Try the Mandalay if you don't mind going a bit downmarket. Clean and beautiful but no safe boxes.
Thanks, Tan Man and Eddie. Did you guys happen to see any Cambodian girls with larger than average breasts? . Any intel appreciated!
Less than average and I should think deffo no enhanced (none I've seen). This is a country where tampons are the height of feminine modernity. Do Siem Reap for the beautiful culture and pleasant night life with cheap shagging thrown in. It's not going to break any p4p records easily.

Hotel in PP
Well, I can't speak Khmer, so I couldn't bargain. Further, I didn't want to invite any trouble as I was in their territory.
In PP, I stayed in Asia Hotel just in front of Diamond Hotel near the Central market. KFC is in the same building.
Manfield,
Thanks for the report $60 LT is a lot. I guess SR is just too expensive with all the international tourists there.
Anyway, can you tell us in which PP hotel you stayed that organised the boom boom massage? I hope it's not Flamingo because I hate that place.
Cheers

Thanks, Tan Man and Eddie. Did you guys happen to see any Cambodian girls with larger than average breasts? . Any intel appreciated!
Yes but you'll need to speak the language so you can ask the Tuk Tuk driver or Mamasan for your requirements.

Language Barrier
Well, the Tuk Tuk driver does understand the language of sign and money, and few words of English. So, communication can be done quite easily but cannot insist with mamasan with regards to money as they become wild besides there being so many henchmen ready to pounce on you. It's better to do the deal and get away as soon as possible from their territory.

Asia Hotel
The Asia Hotel where I stayed is in Phnom Penh. The massage girl was called to the hotel by one staff from the hotel itself.

Girl Friendly Hotel
Most of the hotels are girl friendly.

GF Hotel
In Siem Reap, I stayed at Golden Orange Hotel which is very Girl Friendly. In fact, the tuk tuk attached to the hotel took me to select one girl and help bringing the girl to the hotel.

I did some searching and found out answers, should have done that before posting.
Whilst I'm here does anyone have any recent news from Siem Reap? Last time I was there the only action in the town center was at Blue Wave bar (now relocated?) and a few freelancers on pub street, but they'd been kicked out of the bars. After getting mugged whilst walking back to my hotel by one of the freelancers and her ladyboy friend I wasn't really in the mood to take any one off the street after that. I didn't fancy venturing out to the cheap shacks or spend north of 50 bucks in the clubs outside the center.
I'll be in Cambodia next month for a mongering trip and I've got the chance to spend a few days in Siem Reap before moving on to Phnom Penh, should I bother?
