Also in the news http://www.diario-extra.com/ the 18 street 12 locals got closed for 8 days something about not having fire escapes and causing too much noise polution that was the excuse no girls were arrested because they had their papers in order the locals were the problem let's hope the reopen soon.

I am just arrived these days to GYE. I visited La 18, to discover that many places are closed and under renovation (nice to see the workers building walls among naked girls). Overall, less girls and less beautiful ones on display.

Would you be so kind to give a summary of what changed and what's available today? You don't want me to restart from scratch all my expertise of the town? Today I asked a taxi driver about El Gato, and he even did not know about it! Is it closed?

Gato open, Salome open, Imperio open but far as fuck. Mundoanuncio allways a safe but expensive choice and the high class clubs open but VERY expensive.

Things change fast here.

El Gato 1 open on Via Daule. A small bar is at the side on the main road with 4-5 low-end girls.

El Gato 2 and Imperio in Duran (one in front of the other) open on 3 Feb, closed by police (sealed) on 5 Feb.

Salomé was in Riobamba and Quisquis in September (my last visit). Moved back to old location Quito con Velez. Moved back again to Riobamba now. It closes damn early (before midnight at weekdays).

La 18 with many places closed and less girls. More safety and police present all times. I knew it was 7$, but a girl told me "it's 8 here". I don't know it was a self-tip or prices really increased.

I have seen my "old girlfriend" of La 18 in the same place! She's beautiful like a model. Misplaced there. She was chatting on a smartphone while waiting the next man. She could earn the same or more, than she earns with 20 men in 10 hours in a day at La 18, going with ONE man ONE night (dinner in an elegant restaurant, night in a good hotel). As to why she chooses to work at la 18 and not somewhere else, maybe that's the only place she CAN work. Like you said, why wouldn't she just go to La Isla instead of standing around 18 all day long? There are also some other girls there that are definitely out of place and could do much better, but for whatever reason, they continue to hang out on la 18, perhaps for safety reasons.

We discussed this time ago. Now I have a sample of real data.
