I believe that you are misinformed about Venezuela. Although the political situation is problematical to say the least, it should not affect your mongering since you will most assuredly stay in the east of Caracas where we all live in a bubble. I do not agree that there will be uprisings etc since oil at USD sixty per barrel means that there is plenty of money around. I believe that Venezuelan girls, if well treated, compare favorably with any on the planet and if they are snooty they may be the exceptions, not the rule. Investing in Venezuela is a different issue and certainly do not consider this unless you have a local partner to show the ropes. Money and friends and sex can be found here if you have the attitude and the time.

To trade in an experience in this lovely South American City because your "contacts" with Dominicanas have been positive and because the Dominican girls that you've written don't come across as snooty could be quite disappointing for you.
After 7 trips to that island paradise I know first hand that Dominican women are amazing salesman! They know what to say and they know how to say it to get what they want. I have often said that Dominicanas are born as natural "emprendedoras" (enterprising females) who can market themselves better than any women on the planet. They are taught (at a very young age) by their parents how best to "sell" themselves to touists and foreigners. In emails and on the phone they can be quite charming but inherently disingenuous.
Bad experiences with some Venezuelanas shouldn't turn a person off of the entire country or cause a person to cancel a trip.

You can bring girls to your room without shakedown. You just have to meet girl in lobby. They are worried about crime (thiefs etc).

Venezuela is nice place. Don't know why somebody who has never visited there would bad mouth it. Oh well - thats the internet for you.
I've been to Venezuela and agree the chicas are something else.
BUT, Venezuela is a scary place and things can go crazy some times, or all the time. I've seen taxis where you can't open the door handles form the inside, taxis where all the control panel dials are missing, taxis with aC vented from the muffler for openers.
My clients have told me not to walk on the steets at night even next to upscale hotels. and to use only the chicas that frequent the hotel lobby and bars, or via a service.
Problems abound at the airport. The sign with your name may be copied by a crook who takes you out to the country to rob and kill. I ask for advance information as to who will pick me up and a photo of the driver.
Well, that's enough for today.
I recently visited Caracas (2 weeks ago), did some walking around at night in downtown area and never got the feeling that I was not safe. I think as longs as your careful and don't attract attention to yourself you will be alright in just about anyplace. Apart from that, the chicas in Caracas are gorgeous and sexy. I stayed at the Radisson Eurobuilding and had a great time with a couple of girls from sexycaracas.com (Mandi & Veruska) and a great night at Angelus (Thanks to Ricker for the directions)

I made a stop in Angelus while in Caracas ... the quality seemed to have dropped from what I've been used to there ... maybe I was just there on a bad night .... but also ...
A cab driver ... one that works out of the Angelus parking lot ... told me that the high quality chicas have migrated to a newer club called DIVAS ... located near Angelus.
Gotta check that out next time.
