Maybe Shirokage is correct.I checked out Silky Doll today. It might be because today is a holiday, but they tried to charge me 七万円 for 90 minutes. When I asked the guy, I thought it was 三万円, he replied 店によってバラバラしています。Of course, I just walked away.This was Silky Doll, the small place on the corner, not Satin Doll, the big place around back.Basically, my impression is, they will charge you whatever they feel like - it may depend on how busy they are, or maybe even the tout's mood that day. I think it would better you call in and make a reservation. I'm not sure how good your verbal Japanese is, but I hope that wasn't a gaijin price, or he is quoting you an outrageous price to chase you off. I will pass for a Japanese national, and I have been there 4 times. I have been charged 3? 5? All three times.During my visit to both establishments, I sensed that the crews working the entrance, and the guys on the inside work as two different teams. The crew working the inside probably pick up the phone, and take the reservations.As I mentioned in another post, be careful of who you talk to on the streets of Yoshiwara. You can go to Roppongi, which is good for non-p4p action and picking up ("nampa") j-girls. You can go to Shinjuku, a 25-minute or so train ride, on the JR Yamanote or Oedo lines, which has Kabukicho (the biggest and best-known red light district). Kabukicho has a lot of touts and sex-related establishments, and although the city is cracking down on it, there is plenty of all the kinds of p4p you mentioned. *Much further out, you can try going to Ueno or Uguisudani (both on the JR Yamanote line), but they are like 1 hr or so away from your hotel-- but cheaper p4p to be had. Also, the JR Yamanote and Fukutoshin lines go to Ikebukuro, which is probably the 2nd biggest red light district after Kabukicho. Lots of soaplands and sex-related establishments, but they may not take foreigners. Probably the best bet for soapland experience for foreigners is in Yoshiwara, which is a short taxi-ride or walk from Minowa station on the Hibiya line. The touts there will guide you to the places that take foreigners, although a lot of them are non-FS. You are also close to Shibuya, which has a fair number of sex-related establishments on Dogenzaka, or "love hotel hill". Any of the red light districts will have large numbers of (usually foreign) touts who can guide you to the right places, although usually for inflated prices. Look for the word, "health", which usually translates to BJ.
