A lady friend told me this morning LA Cafe is open...
Econo and Lil thanks for your responses. Lol I actually thought Greenbelt was a street or area rather then a club. Thanks for clearing that up for me, I would have assumed that it is something like LA Cafe otherwise. Maybe I will check it out with a girl in tow for the first time and then decide if it is my thing or not... I just don't think I will have the patience for games especially not in PI.
Lil I think I will try Cebu next time... I hear great things about the city and I do like the darker philipinas from there.
Pitty there is nothing else in Manila I do have week to kill in October but then again if the La Cafe has reopened that may solve the problem...
Once again thanks for the responses and may the mongering goods be always with you
Yesterday morning I went to the Resort World casino to kill some time. After a few minutes of walking around the slot machines area I bumped in a very cute girl. We both smile and started to chat, as it turned out she was working and we came to my room next door in the Marriott. After negotiations we settle in 2K. She was very beautiful, 23, nice body and I had a good time. I got the impression that there more than one providers in the floor. Just passing the info in case someone is staying in the area.
I would like to stop by EDSA Entertainment Cenanother site but since I work nights is difficult to make the time, does anyone know the hours they are open?
Thanks,
BP

It's not a club as far as I am aware, but Greenbelt is a series of interconnected shopping malls, bars and restaurants located in Makati.
Havana Cafe is located in there also!
Its quite close to the Penninsular Hotel if you want to google it!
Worth a visit, but not with your wallet and/or your girl in tow, otherwise it might prove expensive! lol!
It's nice, Red. They have fish bowls on the different levels you can pick from. I had a real nice one who gave me a soapy massage and slithered her luscious soapy boobs all over my body and then banged me for about $30 U.S. as I recall. There's another one nearby called Star Fleet I think. These are good places to go if you have a layover in Manila and your baggage is already checked. It's only about 10 or 15 minutes from the airport. Google them. I'll definitely go back although you can find a cheaper place. They are open 24/7 as I recall.
Thank you for the feeback mate.
I will also look into Star Fleet.
Has anyone been here? I have not visited this place yet but I would like some feedback. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Red
Yeah I was there last night. Amazing place. The massage fishbowl located inside is called Flight 168. The girls are top notch. 2500 P for the room, 2000 for the girl (or vice-versa, I forget) At any rate, I picked a lovely little thing named Shelby (stage name) she was #35. We must've been in the room for upwards of 2 hours. Gave me a great oil massage, shower together, best part was she talked dirty like a little Asian porn star. Knew all the right things to say.
Overall I'd say if you're rolling solo, and are looking for no hassle GFE, legit massage with perks, then head there, you won't be disappointed.
Oh, I forgot to mention they have an attached KTV and a pretty nice lounge.
If anyone is in Malate could you kindly confirm? I'd like to make reservations at Executive Plaza if there is good news :). Thanks.
I was in Malate this evening and I can confirm that LAC is still closed. I have no idea when (or if) it will re-open.
I also stopped into G-Point and Amazonia a bit earlier this eve (around 8pm). GP seemed pretty much the same as it was when LAC was open. However, Amazonia did appear to be busier than before, with quite a few more gals there. They no doubt have just shifted from LAC to there until LAC re-opens.
Manta Ray
It's looking like reports of the LA Cafe reopening are going to be like Elvis sightings.
To anyone who would actually decide to come to Manila or not to come on the basis of one place being open or not, I'd suggest that it's a big, big city with almost infinite mongering opportunities. Yes, LA Cafe was cheap and easy, but there's a whole lot more out there. Time to move on.

LOL Betong, :D well said....Man..Manila is soo F***cking huge....there are 100 other places where one can have fun...it would be great if LA cafe comes back...but that should not let one down on other activities...

To comment on some earlier posts, those guys who think that the hotels around Malate rely on sex tourists (and LAC being open) are delusional. There is a very large tour operator market there and it is going along nicely. Check out the huge tourist buses that pull up in the Pedro Gil entrance to Robinson's Mall in Malate at the weekends. The tourists are mixed races, mainly white, but there seems to be more Korean buses too these days, and these people are housed locally.
To follow up on Betong's post - if you think that all freelancers in Manila rely on LAC for their livelihood then you are wrong. Only a very small percentage of women in Manila and surrounds were involved with LAC.
I have met literally dozens of women in the past couple of years who have NEVER heard of LAC and have no idea where it is or what is (was).
Please don't start lecturing me about how "they will tell me whatever I want to hear" either - I am not that silly.

To be honest, on my first visit to Manila about 10 years ago, I was told to stay in Makati. When I said I am a budget traveller. The filipinos in my office all said "then look for hotels in Malate"
And true it was and till today, it is.
Malate has some of the cheapest hotels, and even my regular haunt. Mabini Mansion. Gets booked with a lot of tour groups. So much so when I am on my out travels, I have to call and remind them every day to keep me the room for my return. Or else, upon my return, they don't have any rooms.
Makati is pricey, and clean. Malate is cheap and good enough for those.
IN my experience, I am not in Manila for hooking, and spend less than 1/4th my time for that. The rest are for meeting friends in QC, Alabang, and Makati etc. Malate always suited me.
I am coming to Manila for the big poker tournament at Resorts World.
Is there any action available there?

Is there any action available there?
At RW? I heard of some girls hanging around, but all I saw is the long queue for food and didn't entice me. But some guys mentioned they had some luck
If you are asking about Manila overall. This thread has enough info.
Or you can start with Air Force 1 at Pasay itself.
Update as of 31st July, LAC is still closed. Word on the street it that it could take months before it reopens. All the action has shifted to Amazonia.

Agree with that....I think we have this image in mind about Philippines being an island and how big a city Manila would be....Being from a third world country myself (India) and living in one of the most populated metros in the world ( mumbai)..i had thought how big Manila could be....i could just hop into burgus st. then to edsa complex and then if time permits go to LA cafe...man i had no idea how far each place is to one another.
The same thing happened to me in Pattaya.....i only had names of bars which i read in forums...i had no idea what was in store for me....it just blew my mind seeing the number of bars in Pattaya...i was just in awe...there was so much to do....the same applies for Manila or any other cities.
Just go out and explore.....you will be surprised how much Manila has to offer.
