Has anybody used airbnb apartments as a mongering base? Any problems with joiners? Any suggestion would be helpful.
Thanks.

Thanks.
An impossible question to answer since there are hundreds of different properties on offer, different building with different security with different rules. Anyone renting thru Airbnb has to know the risks of getting girls back to the room. All it takes is one security gaurd to ruin your vacation.
The breakfast was really good there in the past, even though small breakfast area. Many guests probably don't take BF. I think a typical rate including BF might be at least close to 3000 Baht. Discounts are possible.
I stayed at the Aspen suites a year back, loved the location of the dining room and the location of the elevator making it very very easy to fill up a plate and then head back to your room to eat in peace or with your lady. Or grab it for later while your girls sleeping. I'd head down for a full breakfast and then fill up another plate for us to share for 'lunch' later when she woke up. Kitchenets had microwaves and a huge fridge along with cutlery.

Thanks.
AirBNB reputation is extremely variable. Risk of showing up and finding your room is not available any longer. I think you need to know the landlord well or at least get places highly recommended by someone you know.
I have stayed in many Air BnB residences, both in BKK and round the world. All you have to do is check the House rules for the particular property you are considering renting. It should clearly say whether they have restrictions having guests. In one instance in a Bangkok property I was considering, the renter specifically said the condominium association had a restrictive policy regarding prostitutes etc. But usually there are no issues with most accommodations.
If in doubt, inquire with the renter to make sure the building has a guest policy. Usually, they do not. It's Bangkok, after all.

Hi guys,
Anyone know anything about Gulliver's hotel particularly if it is Guest friendly. A couple of years ago I ate in the bar a few times and thought the place was pretty good. The hotel looked nice but I have RTFF and never seen it mentioned except one report that it was a pretty good sports bar with pick-up possibilities. I only saw waitresses who did not appear to be pickup-able. (but then I usually am wrong!

My buddy found one he liked that was dirt cheap and had a great pool but it was in Jomptien and the taxi fares alone would have killed the savings. I want location and I can usually find what I want in the $40 usd per day range (total cost). Some even give you free breakfast which adds to the overall savings and they clean your room. Who cleans the sheets in the air bnb room?
Your right. I looked into Jomtien too as the rental units with AIR are generally quite a bit less. However, the taxi fares would more than add up to any savings you might have by staying in this area. And later at night, taxis charge even more, not to mention your precious company will want taxi fare afterwards or in the morning. Some may be reluctant to go with you at all.
For the most part, you are on your own for maintaining the apartment during your stay, unless you are staying for a longer period. This cleaning information is specified in their guidelines for each unit being offered.

The best solution is to send an email to the hotel and ask for their guest policy.

(around 1 AM depending on how busy they have it). But be prepared that you have take them first to BB or Climax to unwind.

Thanks.
I have used airbnb numerous times in BKK and Pattaya and NEVER had a problem. If you pick some place that has multiple good reviews then it should be fine!
Has anyone been to this http://fantasticvilla.net/ ?
How is it or is it a scam?

How is it or is it a scam?
Difficult to say whether it is a scam, but:
* The photos of the girls on that page are stolen from other sites.
* The service offered is really very very expensive.
* "Fantastic Villa Holidays HK Limited" has no other web-presence. A quick google comes up empty.
* The site mentions an address in HongKong and Bangkok, but the website is hosted in Germany. 272 other websites use the same IP-address.
There is not much on that webpage that gives one confidence in the proposed services.

My guess is that among other things, your credit card info, if you use it with them even for a small charge, could be duplicated or info sold on the dark web for someone else to duplicate in combination with other purchased data about you.
And, even if you don't do that, they might have some sort of phishing software downloaded to your device (without you ever knowing) running and collecting info in the background. And that's probably the best case scenario.
Hi members,
I'll be staying in BKK for a short while, only one week. I have a few "nice" friends (good girls who don't fuck around) who I'll be catching up with. I do however want to get some action at night and be fairly close to it without it being too obvious.
Where is a good area I should be staying which is close to the action but doesn't look like I'm staying there for the sole purpose of whoring?
Thanks forum members. BTW. I used to be a senior member in the forum until I came across some trouble. Tip. Never give away too much detail in terms of girls you've met which may make them easily identifiable to their boyfriends as they may also be on the forum.
