I actually gave you some sensible advice. Shy guys who don't want hookers coming on to them strong are best suited to Makati / Forest which have a different style of working girl.

Thought that 1000 was a standard fee for long time in a Wanchai Bar?

Cut a short story shorter, I have arranged to meet Donna from last night in Amazonia. She is not there and the place is busy. A text from her indicates she is in Traffic where I head. The place is empty. I buy her and her friend a drink and she tells me, very sweetly, that last night's price was her Sunday one and that she normally charges $2000 but reduces it to $1500 for me. I politely decline and tell her my normal rates as well and there is no central ground. We part amicably. She will offer her services during the day tomorrow for $1000 ST (1 hour) as I have a day off. We will see!

I then make my way to Neptune 111 via Escape which is half empty. Mamasan Pearla offers to fix me up but I am capable of that myself and decline her offer. A beer later and I am thinking of an early night. I certainly need it.

I call in to Amazonia on my return journey. It is heaving and Donna has found a new customer. I think she is embarrased to see me. That's life.

Recent postings on this forum regarding Wanchai pricing leave me somewhat perplexed.

Here are the only 3 rules you need to remember in Hong Kong.

1) No one should ever be paying more than HKD$1000 LT for any nationality, any bar.

2) HKD$500 is more than adequate for most occasions.

3) Free is easier than you think.

As a sequel to my last post, I am no sooner in my hotel for a needed early night when I receive a text from Donna. Can she come to the hotel for my $1000 LT.

She does and has just left now at 11. 00am although the morning session was a bit laboured as she wanted to sleep on. The night session was worth every penny. Her customer in Amazonia was staying in an airport hotel and she did not want to make the journey ou there.

You say you gave me sensible / constructive advice yet all I got was a stupid comment about shyness rather than an answer to the specific questions. Your unwanted assumption (s) makes as much sense as me assuming from the tone of your email you are a fat and ugly person.

As for you being a professional, yes I am sure you are a legend in your own mind. The proof my friend was that you were unable to answer my questions, that says it all! I think you need to spend more time out there and less time in front of the computer.

Comparing locals to visitors is like chalk and cheese.

Locals like Jack the Lad have time to mark out their territory. They know the female population from back to front. Know the tricks of the trade He and other locals can get the best bargains including freebies.

Business travellers don't have time / knowledge to find the best prices available.

As an example you walk into Escape. Chat to a girl. She will find out that you are a traveller. Immediately she will quote 2000+ short time. The girls knows that you are a local resident. She will quote 1000.

You walk into a bar in a suit. Bang the price goes up.

To answer your question.

1000 LT. Can be organised by local residents. Harder for visitors. Suppose if you take a girl out at 4 or 5am. You could get lucky. I am talking about the most professional bars eg; Neptune / Fenwick / Joe Bananas / Amazonia. Can get luckier in the less professional bars like Forest / Makati.

500. This is a short time price offered by naughty domestic helpers on Sat / Sun afternoons. Short time can vary be / w 1 to 3hrs. Available for local residents and visitors.

Free- 99% of girls in the evening at Wanchai Bars are HOOKING. So unlikely to get a freebie from this source. Maybe you can get a freebie sat / sun afternoon in Wanchai.

We often give advice to guys that it is hard to convince girls to visit the airport. Escort Agencies are reluctant to send girls out to the Airport.

Guys need to use short time hotels in Wanchai. If staying at the airport.
