Bar 22 $R12 = entrance + 3 beers

Terma 22 - Monday
Staying cheap, I decided to check out Terma 22 rather than L'uomo.
Big Mama behind the desk lazily told me R25. My Portuguese isn't good, so I just paid it and went into the bar.

Great report, JdG. The 22 mama is my least favorite mama in the West. She always tries to pull some scam either by trying to overcharge for entrance, session, or hit you for a false drink charge on the way out...next time just give her R12 to cover entrance + 3 beers and not more than R95/40 min session. I'm a frequent fucker at 22 when in town, and speak Porto to her, and yet she still tries to con me for a drink charge on my way out, evidently assuming I'm mentally hazy and vulnerable due to being full of beer and freshly fucked. If she tries to ping you with a false drink charge on the way out, just push the tab slip right back across the countertop and walk down the stairs.
I wonder if this project "Cidade das Meninas" will be a reality if the trem-bala, train between Rio and São Paulo, makes it necessary to move Vila Mimosa? The project looks very impressive. I guess VM would loose some of it's charm.

I suspect the project causes the clearing of VM, then is stopped and postponed indefinitely. I wonder about the long term funds to subsidize it. The Economist had an article last week about weak prospects of continued long-term Brasilian economic growth; saying that their innovation spending is a small fraction of that in the other BRIC countries, with just a few like Embraer that actually sell something with value added that isn't at the mercy of commodity markets. If China continues to rapidly build up alternate cheaper sources in Africa, perhaps Brasilian growth will slow killing the VM bullet train and the inflation of ass pricing in one fell swoop. VM lose some of its charm..haha. I'm not sure whether it's hobbyists' heaven or non-hobbyists' hell. Mud, burnt out cars, the smell of [CodeWord140], latex, cheap perfume, cigarettes, roasted meat, beer, and sweat; blasting funk music; beggars, hos, and lechers converged in a swarming mass of degeneracy. :) May it live forever!
How to get the right prices at 22.

Exactly. Very good comment. Got exactly the Brazilian prices.
I usually fight for my friends to get the R$ 75 half hour price. Almost impossible to get the R$ 55 for 20 minute Price. But R$ 95 for 40 minutes is the correct Brazilian price, as is the R$ 12 for 3 beers.
2 of my all time favorites are there (young, pretty, no kids). Try Mel and Sabrina. Mel 18.1 years old, a cute spinner with unreal curves, tiny waist and pretty face. Sabrina a brainy 19 year old college student who uses her brain to treat the customers the way they deserve. Sabrina is only around 2-4 and 10p to 3am.
You will not find anything like that at any price in no termas. My humble opinion.
