Last year I splurged at the Niko for $130 / night and the Harbor Renaisance for $180. Short time romance in Wanchai was 1000hk although I was quoted 1500hk once or twice from a couple of stunners. If the going rate is now 2000hk for ST, I think I am better off with 141 hotel reservation girls. I believe you can still get a Japanese pretty for 1500hk to 1800hk, and mainland Chinese girls for 700hk to 900hk. Last year there were plenty of fairly attractive Chinese FL's available on Mody street for 500hk to 700hk. I hope that scene is still happening. And of course there is still 37 Dundas. But Hong Kong is getting way too expensive. This may be my last visit. I hope not, but there are alternatives for entry into Asia. I can fly into Shanghai, BKK or Manila and have just as much fun and save a bundle on hotels and girls.

The hotel prices you cannot control and of course there are plenty web sites that you can explore for a good deal. There might be a global economic downturn in the world but it has not reached HK yet. Every resident is going to receive a payment of $6000 each as a share in the prosperity, and there are 7 million of them. I am paying $625 in the JJ Hotel, thanks to a punter mentioning this place earlier.

As for prices in Wanchai, as long as plenty girls are going home alone each night and the vast majority do, the cost for LT will stick around $1000 with ST around $600/700. Not many girls I have spoken to in the last 2 weeks have been interested in ST, prefering LT. I read prices of $3K and 4K being mentioned but I think these are in the minority. I have been asked for this amount myself but there is no way I am encouraging it.

The Mody road scene is still there, as is Temple Street.
Just my thoughts and opinion.

I will be making my trvel plans and I have to get out of China a couple of days before CNY in Jan. I've done some searching looking for how I get a 3G data SIM. And USB dongle. Whilst in HK & Macau for short visits.

This is possible, but websites are really not clear on who the better providers are, or the actual costs. (Or where best to buy.)
