Yes, these prices quoted include the fee for the entrance, cabine, and the girl.
Yes, I also can't believe how much higher prices are getting. I was there in August, and I was getting 1.80 and went broke before the trip ended. I still can't believe it wasnt that long ago when you could go into 4x4, and get 2 girls for 100 dollars including entrance fee. I don't think I will ever see brazil again. Its only getting worse with the idiot in the White House printing money 24/7. Our dollar is going to be monopoly money real soon.

I just go to the newly built underground facilities and rent a locker. The first one (walking from Arpoador) is opposite the Mariott Hotel. Only catch is that you can only re-open the locker once.

So I had the chance to go out with 4 off-duty W-H-O-R-E-S (does the board really censor "*****s" omg?) from Luomo last night. They had started drinking before work, and simply decided not to go***. Instead they kept drinking at the beach and one of them rang me up. It turned out they were killing time before the Grand Opening that night of a new club in Lapa (or so they said).
Dutifully, after watching all 4 of them change from street clothes into little black dresses -- borrowed by 2 from the other 2 who live in Copa -- we headed out to Lapa. Probably around 1am when we got there, and the streets were packed with the usual unsavory crew. Nobody really knows where the club is, so the boyfriend of one of the *****s keeps asking people. We end up walking a really long way, down some dark and unpopulated streets, before emerging on a corner. On one side is a little boteca and on the other side is a nice stone building with somewhat familiar awnings. I'm like, shit, this is where Rio Antigo was. (Which is apparently Gloria, btw, showing you how far we walked).
Inside, I think what happened is that the club owners -- La Passion is the club name, btw -- aquired both the Rio Antigo side and whatever else was next to it in the building. They left the Rio Antigo bar intact but knocked out a wall to double its size. The Rio Antigo staircase is still there, leading up to the bar -- with the little benches around the side. And the glorious brass Chopp draft column hanging down from the ceiling. But the bar is double the size now.
I was telling some of the girls that Rio Antigo used to have girls dance on the bar. About 10 minutes later, the club has burlesque dancers come out and ... start dancing on the bar. Too funny.
It's too bad that Rio Antigo didn't make it. The bar was fun, the robes were awesome, and I liked the facilities. Bubba says they had the best chopp in Rio. Moving on .....

I think all these termas were R$310 in August. So Solarium had the biggest jump. It is now priced as much as what Centaurus was about 3 years ago. By the World Cup, I wouldn't be surprised to see Solarium at current Centaurus prices, which is R$450. Then Centaurus will probably around R$600.

I told her about it the next time and she insisted she didn't order Grey Goose. I told her it was on the tab, and since I'm sitting there drinking agua com gas, she better readjust her orders. She pouted and ordered just cranberry juice, lol.

I knew a guy who was working there during the remodel and he said the idea was there was supposed to be a hotel next door so the girls could take the guys there.

He learned his English from TV, some people are just naturally talented, Anywat, you would just hold up 3 or 4 fingers in his direction and 3 or 4 chopps would magically appear. Maybe some of the ex workers have moved on to other termas?
If the prices keep going up and up at these termas a few others may be history too.

I was there last week and I see what you mean. I thought it was dark but I could actually see the important stuff about the girls. IMO they were not really pretty. Three of them were playing pool and they did it in the dark, no lights were turned on.
Went to Terma 81 on Rua Quintanda (In Centro) yesterday and that place was even darker than 22. I had some serious problems to see the girls. It was pretty crowded at 6.30 pm and the music was pumping so loud it was impossible to have a conversation without screaming to each other. Horrible!

They are still allowing smoking. There were no ashtrys on the tables but I saw about 5-10 persons smoking. I didn't like the place at all so I left after 5 minutes, and on my way out I made a point about the "Rio sem fumo" law and that I didn't like that they are breaking the law. Hopefully someone listened to my complaint. Entrance was R$ 10 (two drinks included).

Normally 4 to 5 is a good time, but Sabrina works from 2-4 and then comes back from college at 10pm till 2 am.
For you nightowls, at 22 h they are probably in full swing. They close at 2am every night, Saturday night 2p to 12p, they close at midnight.
The light, if you come from sunlight, it takes you 5 minutes to get used to. But for the noise, I always bring ear plugs.
