It would be interesting to have you elaborate on this statement.
I have used Mamba a lot in Kiev, and sometimes it yields great results with a lot of fun. I only stay week at the time, and in between visits I can see if my contacts are busy online, and prepare next visit, have them make some preparation like invite a special friend to party, order tables at clubs etc. But this is time-consuming and I have to use my wits to the utmost with most of the girls.
Then there is the very effective option to contact (new) girls spontaneously after I arrived (searh "now online" or look at the flash-banner on top of page) , because many of the women don't care to answere someone who is (or is not) coming to their city only next week or next month. But many of those "banner" girls are WG, so if you are looking for GFE it is not very fruitful. So, your thoughts would be interesting. RB
I'm no expert but I am beginning to "get it". Once you have filtered out the salon girls, you will need a good profile. These girls do actually choose with who they will do business with. For prostitutes, I recommend a good fake profile that makes you appear as a business traveler to Kiev. Once you get the girls to show up, they won't walk away assuming you look like a dissent person. One week tourists have a big disadvantage because they are subject to the whims and moods of that girl for that week. It's all very subjective, one week they blow you off and the other week they are begging to come over "now". If I lived in Kiev, I would make it clear to every girl that I only pay $100 an hour. But as a tourist, sometimes you have to offer more to motivate the girl. It really is time consuming and you have to be careful what you say. I think the most important thing is to some how show you are a normal guy. That is why a good profile related to some corporate entity can give you instant credibility.
Also, connecting yourself to something in Western Europe is a good idea (not America). These girls really do like to travel and any friends that can make things comfortable for them are always appreciated. I currently have a friend creating my executive profile based in Rome for mamba and VK. I am also creating another profile with real pictures and some bs for girlfriends.
Hum. FYI, and happily, some people don't need a mortgage to spend 250 000 € (rolleyes).
It's also IMO not a "terrible" investment. I've seen the real estate prices in Romania being x 10 in five years, to reach 5 000 €/square meter nowadays in Bucarest. In Moscow, the real estate prices are outrageous. Even in Chisinau the market has skyrocketed up to 4 000 €/square meter. Some 1 200 €/square meter for prime real estate in Minsk seems to me VERY interesting (provided it gives you access to visa facilities).
As for being "off topic", admittedly the endless questions you ask about "how to use mamba" or "where to find needy girls" are surely more on topic, but the fact that one can buy a 200 square meters pied a terre in Minsk for 240 000 € is maybe ALSO a matter of interest for some people here.
Prices for real estate have increased quite a lot in Minsk as well. In 2005, a 2-room flat next to Mc Donalds in the city center was available for 25 000 Euro. Too bad that only locals were legally authorized to buy real estate.
I know that Russians are now also entitled to buy real estate in Belarus but I am not quite sure if this is possible for western foreigners. According to local people who are familial with real estate business, foreigners are still not completely allowed to buy a flat or a house. In any case, when investing in FSU countries it is crucial to have a 100% trustworthy local partner who takes care of the contacts, language and legal issues. Otherwise there is a big risk that the money is gone forever.
However, I can honestly say the best girls I have sponsored in Minsk are those I met from other sites or quite by chance in Minsk.
Totally agree. It is boring to constantly deal with internet first dates, with who you don't know if harmony will be there. The "unexpected" is much more enthralling. You bump into a girl in the street, a bar, a shop, a club, ect, you mesh well with her, and you score her. Period. That is what FSU is all about.

And of course, when they ask what do you work, I say I don't work, I don't have to. I recently discovered the disdain with americanism in Kiev. I may have to do something myself about the relations to some corporation. Sort out sharks and piranhas, concentrate on sensible answers that establish harmony, they must trust you to meet you. Show some masculeanum, but being able to say you're sorry also has charm, I think. After first sex, if good, I try establish some understanding: first encounter may cost more, but then I want several hours or days, max 300 dollars for maybe 24hours, plus expenses. Some just want to hang out, others go to town, or party with some more girls, reserve table at disco (500hr, but you get drinks for this amount) can be fun. Sex unlimited. Yes, they sure can be moody, but I mostly keep them only several hours at a time. But more about profiles. I. Sort them into different files: pending, I. E general folder with contact in initial stages, many don't answer and after a few weeks they get transferred to ignored, and deleted. Then I have folder Work, with promising contacts who need a little more attention, when I have got telephone and agreed to meeting they go to folder Meet, which does not need much attention until last week before arrival. And when I have actually met them, there are folders like Kiev-Sept, Kiev-Jan, etc. It is so dangerously easy to get mixed up with these Natashas, Alinas and Taniyas. Not to mention those from the clubs, shops or streets, or friends of a friend. Kind regards, RB
I guess you are attempting humour. Since when Moldova has a "economic dynamic"? Belarus has Russia to back it up, Moldova has no one. FYI, the Customs Union between Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia (I don't talk about CIS, which is another thing) , a union which introduces one single economic space with no custom boarders between Russia and Belarus and which is effective since January 2012, is the proof that Russia is ready to do everything to keep Belarus under its influence. And if Russians can invest freely in Belarus, real estate prices in Minsk won't stay long at this level, believe me.
You are simply out of your mind if you are going to buy an apartment in Belarus for cash. Having a mortgage is simply a form of protection regardless of the fact some people can buy without. Just about all real estate investments are crap unless you have some leverage and an understanding of where things are going. Can we please get back to girls now?

He would surely answers that he is perfectly happy with the penthouse with terrace that he bought in Chisinau when the market prices were low, and which is obviously (from the pics he posts in the Moldova photo thread) a magnet for girls. Owning a nice apartment in your favorite hunting ground does make sense, sorry.
Back to girls? No problems. There are available girls ranging from fuckably cute to very hot literally everywhere in FSU. Very available women, looking for companionship, romance and fun. To score them you have to develop other skills than the single fact of having money. What else you need to know? (rolleyes)

The owner of the apartment that I used to rent (quite nice, in a modern building just above the best mall in town) wanted to sell it for about 25 000 € (60 square meters). Shit, I should have buy it. It's pocket money. Minsk seems to be the last place in EE where real estate prices are low, it would be interesting to dig further about the possibility for foreigners to buy a flat.

/Felix
Yea, seems like the little teddy bear drama is being settled, doesn't it?
Would love to join in November but have a bunch of travels lined up before new year, and just returned from Asia.
Ukraine in October though, so if you for some reason would go earlier, I will come over to Minsk.

Real estate and girls
1. Real estate.
It seems humans never learn the lesson: in Vilnius real estate prices have dropped 40% since the peak at the end of 2007; In Riga,"just" 60% even if a residence permit is offered to purchasers of real estate with a price tag above the €150k mark. Russians can purchase freely both in LT and in LV. Why will Minsk be different? Another bubble being started?
2. Girls.
Have not been in Minsk for 2 years already; planning to travel in 2 weeks for 3-4 days (I actually live in Vilnius) ; please confirm the following:
- Next: pro and semi pro girls; you hit 100% sure if you have the cash, two arms and two legs and shower regularly;
- Dozari: to see and be seen; the typical Russian club where the local upper class flashes cash; hard to get laid;
- Africa and. : pick up joint full of student; relatively easy to pick girls up.
These guys seem to have put together the essence of nightlife in Minsk: http://www.minsknightlife.net/
Any advice? Been to Madison and Overtime and I did not have the feeling that the crowd was particularly eager to get picked by foreigners; not even Lithuanians who speak Russian fluently used to hunt particularly much in those two clubs.
3. Profiles on Mamba and similar.
If an average profile and a normal pattern of communication do not work for girls / women who are semi-locked in the country and earn an average salary of usd350.

Club Garage
Any insight into Club Garage in Minsk. From what I can see in photo galleries, looks monger friendly. Some older guys clearly mixed into the background amongst the hotties.
