The times I've blacked-out drunk is more than I'd like to admit in my younger days, woke up not knowing what happened, where I was, where my money went, who's bed I was in.

In Pereira, even locals avoid Parque De La Libertad any time of day. Its full of desperados.
Parque Bolivar is generally safe.

I few years ago, I was with a chica in Medellin who I'd been with before. That one time, after some foreplay which included sucking her nipples, I became very disoriented. I could not stand up without holding on to something. I noticed it without revealing my condition to the chica. I laid on the bed beside her and continued playing with her with my hands. After 10 - 15 minutes I felt well enough to maneuver better. Even after she left, I was still light headed. I had not drank any alcoholic beverages that day, and I don't partake of illegal drugs. I realize our bodies are complex and sometimes things happen naturally they we don't understand, but I've never had a feeling like that, before or after.

Took 2 chicas I met in an open bar and took them to my place. Fortunately, I did not end up at the hospital and the financial loss was minimal (not that it would matter, health is more important). It was put in in an unsupervised drink.
Lesson learned.

I have been to Colombia over 100 times and the times that it has happened to me is zero as well. But I do have a good friend that has been to Colombia as many times as I have and like me, really only deals with non-pros. Well it happened to him. And it was a good thing that he built relationships with normal Colombian people because those were the ones that helped him out after he not only got cleaned out, but put into a poor medical state as well.

A teacher I know got dosed in a gay bar in Chapinero- he was staying at a rooming house where I was living at the time- The doorman let them both in apparently he was already dosed. The perp left soon after robbing his room and my friend woke up 15 hours later.

My last trip I went for the first time to the city of Caldas about 15 minute cab ride from the last metro stop.

He went to a bar by himself one night and the next thing he knew it was 10 am the next day and he was waking up laying in a grass field without his phone, money, etc. He has no idea if anything was put in his drink, blown in his face, etc because he has no memory of it.
So far I have found five prostibulos (brothels) in Ipiales.
Natalias Night Club.
This is probably my favourite so far. They have been charging me 70,000 for 20 minutes. There is a great selection of girls, and all of them have been amenable to some form of kissing, ranging from light pecks to DFK. Of the three girls that I have sessioned with, none of them have been amenable to my suggestion of BBBJ for 20 k propina. They don't seem to mind that I don't buy drinks for myself there. I bought a girl drink tonight for 10 k. I went tonight, and saw Angie again. She is 19 years old. Terrible oral (all teeth) but the sex is pretty good. They knocked on the door at 20 minutes and the session was over just like that. I didn't finish, but that was alright with me, I just got a different girl. Jennifer. I have been wanting to get to Ipiales for a while now I want to go see the church there.

It was merely a matter of happenstance. After spending three months in Bogota, my tourist visa was up, so I took the bus to Ecuador. Then I spent three months, when again my tourist visa expired, so I took the path of least resistance and hopped the border to Ipiales. I've been here for two months.
Ipiales is a cool city. Over all cost of living is pretty cheap. Lots of places offering lunch for 4,000 or 5,000 COP, and you get your standard fare of soup, carne a la plancha (a lean cut of beef, basically a small steak), rice, and peas. Or you can have chicken or carne a sudada (which is beef with some sort of vegetable topping actually quite tasty). I recommend hotel Torre de Cristal in El Centro. The initial price was 60,000 but they did a deal at 50,000 since I was staying for a week. Incredible hotel. You get a nice desk to work at, comfortable bed, flat screen TV, daily maid service (and the lady really goes to town, they even bleach the room every day so when you come back it smells like a pool). Basically indistinguishable from any $100 a night hotel in North America. And the WiFi is phenomenal. I stayed at a few of the places around here, such as Hotel El Nogal, St Andres, and LOS Andes and they were all reasonable and in the same price range but Cristal offers the best value by far IMO. I dio not know if they are chica friendly, but suspect not, as it is sort of a classier place and it seems like Ipiales is a little more conservative in this regards than say El Centro Medellin where they don't bat an eye if you bring in three or four girls. Although you can register another guest I'm sure and do that work around. At El Nogal I was charged a 30,000 joiner fee but I dunno if that is just the standard rate or it was 15,000 per girl. YMMV.
Laundry in Ipiales is around 1,000 an item (massively cheaper than Bogota where I was paying through the nose). Actually one downside of Cristal is I think they are charging me slightly more for laundry than they were at the other places, but it is not a big deal, still quite reasonable, shouldn't be more than like 20,000 a week in total.
I'm not sure about daytime brothels, I think all the places on Via Rumichacha as well as Natalias on 3 a are nighttime places.
Also, right beside Natalias is another club, Divas. I went in to check it out and ordered a water for 3 k. Then this obese chica was badgering me for a drink and the waitress was going on about something I dunno what the whole scene was pretty depressing so I just left. Then the other day I went to Natalias but it wasn't open, so I checked out Divas again, and there were a couple guys passed out on the sofas and I didn't see many girls so again I just booked it. Dunno, I get a weird vibe from that place.
Taxis are pretty much a flat 4 k unless you are really going somewhere out there. A Fronteras trip is more and there is a mild additional fee for midnight travel. I've also ended up in a couple of gypsy cabs, which is never really an ideal situation. If you cab it to the border at night you won't really have any other choices though. So far no problem, they seem to charge 5 k, although the way they ask it seems like it could be negotiable but these guys are obviously grinding pretty hard just to get by so I don't bother to haggle. The cars they are driving are pretty LOL. The one guy who brought me back from the club on Rumichacha was clearly drunk as a skunk too, judging from his hiccups and the extremely slow / careful way he drove.
I am thinking of staying there. Lots of my contacts are from there. Can anyone share where to stay and experience? Thanks.

If you are in Leticia, then mongering is not the reason why you are here. There are tons of excellent places in Colombia filled with gorgeous chicas and much better weather. However, if you are looking for a girlfriend for the night after exhausting trips to the jungle there are places you can visit here.
There is a place called Excalibur Bar, pink color, one story building on La Frontera (Internacional Ave) between Calle 7 and 8, right in front of the convenience store. There are two places with girls sitting in the chairs in front, bar and private rooms are in the back. It's a short walk from the hotel district in Leticia, no need for a cab, place is fairly safe, even at night. There are several stores across the street and a night food stall. You can also take a cab for 2-3 K from the center of Leticia, if you stay by the river. Talent on hand is mostly brought over here from Medellin and Cali to work for few months, about 10 to choose from, ranging from 4-8. Since there is not much competition cost are far higher than in BOG, it will cost you 80 K and there is not much room for negotiations.
Further down the street as you cross into Brazilian town of Tabatinga are few places on the left as you cross the border, but they appeared dodgy and unsafe. There is a huge local dance parties in Tabatinga if you happen to be there during the weekend, place is called Compra, if I remember correctly. Any cab from Leticia can take you there. 15 min drive for 30 K. It is for sure a sight to see, and if your Portuguese is good you might get lucky.
Stay in Leticia, on Colombian side, much more pleasant then Tabatinga.
Gardenias, just get a city tour from a taxi driver (15 k COP or less) and he will drive you past it. I walked by one night (I was already occupied with a non-pro Paisa I met on a jungle tour) and there were about 20-25 chicas working and maybe 10 mongers. It is important to note that every bar / restaurant / nightclub here is an open-air outdoor affair without air conditioning, and the heat and humidity here is oppressive.
Heard a report on the news. Seems that Cucuta, Colombia is the place to be right now for some inexpensive but pretty Venezolana pussy. Some are even going bareback for cheap! There are no jobs for all of those migrant refugees fleeing their country, so a girl has got to survive somehow. Cucuta, Colombia. Believe it.
