Safety of Americans in Italy
I have never been robbed or felt threatened in Colombia. Of course the Colombians do not start with the political bullshit, that I hear from europeans. The report about the American getting beaten, was a Rueters story that was published in August. there was also a rueters story about the old Jewish quarter in Rome, being disicrated with ani-semitic graffiti. This is why my radar is up. I also not some scrawny 150 lb. guy either, so if push comes to shove, I can inflict pain.
Now San Jose, Costa Rica is a different story, you always have to be alert....
I would not necessarly call the European Union, a beacon of model government either, individual rights are being swept away by the monster in Brussles.
MJG
I don't know what "political bullshit" you hear from Europeans. What I hear from most of them sounds a lot more realistic than the "political bullshit" I hear from many Americans.
People get beaten up and cemeteries get desecrated - not "disicrated" - all the time, everywhere, for all kinds of reasons.
I would suggest that those kinds of things happen a lot less in Western Europe than in the United States or Latin America.
As for the European Union, it has a total of about 30,000 employees - somewhere between one-half and one-third of the number for the U.S. Interior Department - and they are spread all over the continent. The EU has 450 million citizens - 50 percent more than the United States. Where, pray tell, is the "monster in Brussels"?
Finally, with your ignorance and attitude, I am concerned that the next time I go to Europe I am going to meet people who have attitudes towards Americans that are shaped by having met you.
Maybe it would be best for all if you decided not to go to Europe.

The "danger" of traveling in Italy
Martin:
"political Bullshit"- europeans lecturing me about foreign policy, while I am on vacation- I don't want to hear that bullshit, I can watch C-SPAN and see the house of commons in the UK, during questions to the prime minister, blame the world's problems on america.
Yes, I am an American. I do not agree with everything my government does, and as much as I disagree with Bush on many items, at least he does not grovel to the Europeans for their opinions. Too damm bad if we do not behave the way Europe wants us to behave. I
I do not have a choice , I have to go to Rome to get my girlfriend out of Italy. She is Colombian, works for her extend family ( Italian- Colombian), so she can come back and go to school here in Los Angeles. She got accepted to USC. So she is not some dummy. I speak fluent spanish, and plan to only engage in spanish.
As far as meeting people in Europe that is your problem not mine.. But I will not bow down to them at all, nor will I engage. I really want them to leave me the fuck alone..... Comprende..............
Well MJG, I guess you have made some progress. You've gone from worrying about physical danger in one of the gentlest countries on the planet to worrying that somebody might want to discuss politics with you. Once again, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I can't imagine anybody wanting to discuss politics -- or anything else -- with you.

Claudya, an hungarian lany
Well, after a political interlude about US and Europe let's go back to the scope of this forum. I met Claudya one week ago. Got her telephone number (346-3922035) and e-mail (claudyaescortit in the yahoo mail) from a competing escort forum which I will not mention. The pics on the Internet belong to another girl and this is surprising since Claudya is just as beautiful as the girl portraited in the forum. Guess it depends on the price asked to publish her photo ad in the forum. She told me that the swiss site relazion****iali asks 800,00 EURO a month for keeping an ad with 4 pics. I visited Claudya in the early morning for her (11.30 a.m.) so she was still a bit sleepy but provided a fully satisfactory service, a real GFE. A covered but passioned BJ, DATY, then 69, missionary and we ended with a triumphant doggy style. The gift was 200,00 E, which makes it a great value for money. Sometimes girls from Eastern Europe (never say that to an hungarian, they say that they live in Central Europe) are blonde and beautiful but cold and unfriendly as Russian border policeman, on the contrary Claudya is sweet and friendly. After sex we spent almost half an hour cuddling and talking. She used to work on the street so we discussed the present newspaper clamour on the "baby prostitute in Via Salaria" and the use of cameras to punish the punters and discourage open air prostitution. She is quite intelligent and fun to be with. Claudya is difficult to reach without a car: she lives in Via di Casal Selce, on the Via Aurelia outside the Grande Raccordo Anulare, exit La Storta. From the exit La Storta you have to take to the left and drive for 5-6 km until you reach an Elite supermarket. Treat her well, she deserves it
legal ramifications of street trade
flashman,
your question sort of lost in the mix.
it's been a while since i've been with street girls, but i'll tell you what i know.
recently police have claimed that they're installing a camera system along the major prostitution streets in rome. no word on any arrests or the status of the system.
i have never heard of anyone getting anything confirep001ed in a prostitution bust in italy. under italian law, prostitution is in theory legal with many qualifiers. customers are usually cautioned and released. if they are charged, they may be busted for, say, indecent exposure or traffic violations (since prostitution is technically legal), which of course don't result in any confirep001ion of property.
to anyone thinking of getting out of arrest in italy through bribery, i'll just say that my italian buddy tried that and they threatened to charge him with attempted bribery. usually if you're calm and friendly with italian cops they'll be cool.
i repeat that not only do i not know anyone who has been arrested as a result of frequenting prostitutes, i have never even heard of it. as far as i know it simply doesn't happen. "annà a mignotte" is a widely-practiced roman pastime.

what is the current position with regard to the police in italy. a couple of years ago we had the mass clear out of thousands of roadside girls and the threat to confirep001e cars. i am a regular visitor to italy and haven't seen many streetgirls since. is there much active police intervention or have they moved onto to other things?
