How were looks/quality of girls? Sounds like a place I need to check out.

I guess I must have struck lucky with one of the newspaper ads.

The ad just said" Blonde. 36, offers massage etc. I phoned her and she spoke very good English. I work here for 3 years and see many forein people screwed. not literal. the girls are sneaky, the men educated and want your money and have plenty of time to think of how. never speak to men near inter-cont hotel,cotton club, twice, planters. Some time ago (about September last year) somebody on the forum gave the website of a clinic in Bucharest who supplied Cialis and Viagra. I visited this clinic in October and bought some Cialis. I agree to Shark99 about Bucharest. Its a very bad place: Expensive and much ripOff. Timisoara is much better, but you must be careful always in romania!!!

I took the benefit of this site for my travel to different other countries, so I think it makes sense for me, in return, to post a bit about my own country.

It is indeed pretty dangerous for foreigners (but not only) to be trapped by pimps, mainly gipsies. Several of them could be OK, most not. Their only one target is your cash.

1. Internet. Pretty difficult to get a decent find, but some success could be reported. Time is necessary for many exchanges but please consider to pay 100-200 EUR for one night...

Newspapers like ANUNT, at MATRIMONIALE, have many phone numbers, all cell, from ladies offering pleasure against your cash. The normal payment is 800 - 1500 K ROL (20-38 EUR) for one hour, but there is no guarantee on the look, measurements and quality of service, for example even if on the phone you negociate 2 or more numbers, they may say that another customer is waiting, etc. They may say that oral is w/o condom, but... And the neighborhood could be not so nice... Don't take much more money with you, just for the taxi. Don't take the passport and other valuables, a photocopy could be OK. If takeing the girl into your room at hotel or rented apartment, please make sure you money and valuables are very well hidden. Postpone your shower after she leaves, in a few minutes she may put you into severe problems... Take a special care at the cell phone and cash.

At Night Clubs there is a double chanrge: by the owner, due to the very high prices you pay for the lady's drinks. Never order a champaign, you pay 20-50 times more than normal. In any event, their drinks are colored water. They take a fraction of this payment. Then you pay a charge to take the girl or wait until 5:00 am. Then she will come to you, rarely for more than one fuck, and their behave could be very different than the one during the "hunt". It's always like this, all around the world. Exceptions are rare.

Discos and bars a better locations to get a change to run into a "normal" girl, invite her for a normal drink, a normal dinner, and she could be happy to have good sex with you. Most of the Romanian girls look for foreigners to get married and leave this country where most of the jobs (especially the public ones) are payed with about 100 EUR/months, but prices are close to western countries. It is a mircale that they find resources to survive and dress so nice. They dream to settle in developed countries and this is a real chance for you to "hunt" a candidate. Actually this is the reason for an incredible corruption at all levels, the very low salaries offered by the governemnt. Police is also very corrupted. So, avoid to run into them. By the way, they don't care is you are with a local girl. Avoid gipsy girls, although they could be very nice and hot.

You are right. There is the Universal Postal Congress from the 15th of September until the 5th of October.
