About Cosmos Hotel: You are right, it’s not the most girls-friendly one. But I recently was there (entered before 9 o’clock) and no one stopped me. I can agree with you on all the hotels, you were at Cosmos at 9.00 PM, I do not know how it is but once it was a very strict security to protect the girl working in the hotel.
On ground I have no time to take a taxi (due to Moscow traffic, you cant’ get from an Industry area to the other in reasonable time) I find more convenient to take Underground and Izmailovo is a fair combination between being in a good place and price (I mean for the suites of course), and having fast data lines (and document check). I've had the experience with two of Victoria's girls, Lika and Katya.

As I posted earlier, the photos if in fact are the ladies in question, had to be taken 5-10 years ago. So on the initial meet, it's kind of a let down, as one builds up their expectations. For looking at the rooms (the higher standard ones you can go at [url]www.izmailovo.ru[/url] not fake pics the rooms in the Delta-Gamma block are exactly so, I have never been in the others (with the exception of the lobby).

Now the Delta-Gamma block has been undergoing a renovation process for the last four or five years and the lobby is more or less normal with the usual overpriced shops, bars and some restaurants there are also different type of restaurants at the 2nd and 3rd floor. The best is the two face European/Chinese/Japanese restaurant you have in the Gamma.

Getting girls there is very easy. During the day you just phone to the one you like and wish to come… then when the girl is there she has to go in the corner of the lobby and phone you up (she has to know the apt number) then she can just be registered (with your presence) at the security staff (they just write down passport facts as a normal guest under the day). Still the soviet method…

If the girl is staying upstairs later than 11 PM, they will just knock on the door for getting she out, but easily and openly the problem is quickly solved with a 1000 RUR note. ;) Even getting up two or more (if you have a suite) is not a problem... fixed tariff 1000 RUR each :(

If you have to get in after 11 PM, just go to your elevator block and when the guy ask for the card handover it and with some privacy hand over a 1000 note to the guard, he will just ask to when the girl will stay and it’s all.

By the way the breakfast (typically Russian) in the hotel is quite good (also confused!) but you have a choice of a lot of different things and sometime you can just see the working girls taking some food before going home, once I mad a contact there.

As far as the hotel being girl friendly, it isn't. There is a sign posted, and the security will enforce, that each guest there has to show their room pass to board any of the elevators. I was able to get one girl up to my room last summer during the afternoon, but the security guard gave her a stern conversation in Russian which I didn't understand and when I asked her what he said, she said that he said to hurry whatever she was coming up to get.

The Cosmos, as posted by other members, has their own selection of girls that aren't noticable around the lobby unless you look for them. They most frequently hang out in the lobby bar and can even be ordered from there by asking the bar staff.

Concerning the Solaris club downstairs, it is not always a stripclub. I think only 4 days of the week, 5 days max, are there stripshows. On evenings that it is a stripclub, there will be one of their female staff in the lobby by the stairs handing out an advertisement with a coupon off the cover charge which is 1,000 roubles full price. On the other days, it is just a regular dance club. The girls for the most part are not working girls and if you are going there to try to pick up a girl, good luck. The last time I was there earlier in the year, I chatted with one girl who admitted that most of the girls were married and had children. Late last summer, however, some action could probably be found from the friskiness of a few of them, but again, the club is not a working girl club.

As far as the rooms in the hotel, the regular rooms aren't anything special. It seems in the past 6 to 8 months that are trying to make even more money and have added vending machines on each of the floors for snacks and the refrigerators in each room are now locked and stocked with refreshments. They used to be usable so I could shove my kvas and food in there for my morning hangover. Don't get me wrong, I still like staying at the hotel and having a metro station directly across prospekt mira makes the place attractive.
