Obviously I am not familiar with fewfans but thinking that it may be about time to try it out considering the ever declining numbers of freelancers on Sukumvit road.
I know that TF girls are mostly freelancers, some are looking for long term relations, some just want to earn money. But how does fiewfans girls work? Are they all "staged" by escorts agencies and operate out of rooms in certain locations (buildings or hotels) or are they freelancers that one can talk to on whatsapp to verify age / face / vibes etc. And they will come to your hotel room for a reasonable price?
One evening trying to hit the main attractions
First of all thank you very much for all the posters and information and also for the ones answering my questions. Now my post did get a bit long but wanted to also give back a bit.
I went first to Tulip early afternoon (see separate report) and then relaxed in the hotel in the afternoon and drank some iced coffees to get ready for the night. After 2 drinks and some light food early evening n the hotel lounge it was time to see the main attractions. Because I had only one evening I decided to try all 3 main things, Soi Cowboy, Thermae and Nana. Unfortunately no wing man but I felt well prepared with all the info I found here.
I started around 7:30 pm at Soi Cowboy and walked it up and down and glanced into various places. They were still relatively empty at this time of the evening. After walking and looking I went into Crazy House, sat down on a bench, got a beer and watched the fully naked dancers on the stage. The upper floor was still closed so I could not enjoy the view through the glass ceiling to the 2nd level dance floor. The place was not that full yet and while I was there quite a lot of girls came in. After a while I picked a girl from the dance floor to sit with me. They showed me the lady drinks and she picked the double one for 400 bath. I didn't feel like arguing but decided not to buy her more. I talked a bit to her and she tried to convince me to go with her upstairs to bang her. She tried to sell for a while so I did get something out of the expensive drink but then she figured I won't bite and gave up. I finished my drink and left. Looks of the girls were ok, not great but some were good enough for my standards (6-8). I did not like the upsell on the drink though and decided to leave. Afterwards looked into various bars (Baccara, Doll House, Tilac) but it was not too full yet and also didn't see any particular girl that caught my eye.
After Soi Cowboy I walked to Thermae, sat down and drank a beer. It was good people watching with more Asian then Western customers. I also did see some girls only talking to Asians. I walked a couple rounds to get a better look and saw some lookers and more then half of them did smile at me when I looked at them. I decided not to talk to any one of them yet because I wanted to go to Nana first but figured Thermae as a good option to come back to. It was full but not packed and you could find a seat in the middle bar area. Lots of girls and not too many being taken while I was there (maybe 45 minutes). Girls stood on the outside and guys walked the rounds. With some of the girls it was also harder to figure out how they would look undressed. I did like the place though and it is quite relaxed with the girls not allowed to approach you.
My last stop was Nana and I walked the floors but had my eye on Billboard from the reports here. The ground floor was full of people drinking and looked like fun to sit with some friends. Most bars on the lower floors tried to get me in but none of them had lookers in the front. After walking around and getting a hang of the place I went into Billboard. Saw the girls in the tub topless but not that active some kind of slightly moving in the water. Not sure what the attraction is. I got a seat on a bench with a good view to the rotating stage. The stage was pretty full with a variety of girls. I didn't see a 9 or above and most were in the 6-7 range. I drank a beer and watched for a while and then decided to pick a girl that smiled a couple times towards me and also put on some moves on the pole rather than some of the others that barely moved.
The waitress sent her over and she was a good choice. Got her lady drink (200 bath) and was touchy and danced a bit in my booth, sat on my lap and gyrated on me, also spanked her butt a bit and tried to suck her nipples. Felt almost like in a strip club. I bought her 2 more drinks and 1 for the waitress and we had a pretty good time. Her English was decent but not great so we could talk a bit. She was also not too pushy on the lady drinks and we sat there for quite a while, not sure how long but felt like closer to 1 hour. I did not ask her up front if I can take her out because originally I wanted to go back to Thermae. But she did a good job making me horny so I asked her for the bar fee and her fee. She gave me the price I already knew (700 bar fine and 4000 for herself) for short time. I am not a LT person and rather sleep alone (I am now in the camp that you pay them to leave you afterwards). I am not sure she would have done LT, she did ask me though what hotel I was staying in (not walking distance with her high heels and 5 star) and she claimed she knew it. Settled the bill (980 for the drinks, 700 bar fine and 4000 her fee) and she got dressed.
She had some flimsy red dress that screamed hooker (in the Philippines last time I took out a girl she was dressed next door style with jeans etc.) with high heels. We walked to a nearby short time hotel and I paid 300 for the room. Room was very small and basic but the shower worked well. We did shower separate though with me first. This is a drawback not taking them to your hotel room where you have a couch, chair, king sized bed, bathtub, large shower etc. But as I said before I prefer ST and she would have stood out a lot in the hotel lobby. Blowjob was average but she mounted me and was an energizer bunny. I did have a quick look into Butterflies but felt the girls were not as good looking as Billboard. Took a walk back then to my hotel and called it a night.
In summary a good evening but would have been more fun with a smaller group or at least a wingman. The forum here helped a lot to pick the right bars and also I did get the questions where are you from, how long do you stay, is this your first time in Thailand etc. And answered with the suggestions I saw here. I also did look each time at the paper after they added a drink just to make a point that I check. I also stayed only slightly boozed up and paced my drinks very slow (only 3 beers with 1 at each place with 2 additional stronger cocktails before going out).
Not sure if and when there is a next time. I did prefer Nana compared to Soi Cowboy but also with more time would have liked to take a girl out from Thermae. Some of them were very attractive and looked more like girls that you could meet at regular places. Except for the age difference I would also not have felt bad bringing them back to the hotel.
I spent around 7000 for 5 hours of fun and enjoyed myself.

Thermae 2024 February Scene and Report
Hi All, just returned from a work trip to Phnom Penh, Bangkok and Singapore, for about a week each. Didn't do much in Singapore due to work commitments, but did have some time in the other spots. See the Phnom Penh forum for my post about that scene. As I mentioned there, this was my first time mongering in SE Asia (I had only been to Bangkok about 10 years ago with my wife and family, so no sampling the action), and I found it pretty easy and rewarding, actually. Maybe because I prepared by going back through these forums and kind of knew what to expect, so thanks to all the vets on here who have contributed through the months / years and really kept the board going.
Phnom Penh's all about bars and bargirls, so in Bangkok I wanted to focus on the other options: massage parlors and nuru-gel salons, plus Thermae and some of the freelance scene. Didn't have time to sample the online FIWFANS etc options, with everything else so easy to access.
Thermae: first night after a long (very long) walk around Soi 22,24, 24/7, 26 and 33 to check out the massage parlor scene, I headed through the K-Pop zombie street hookers to Thermae. Still pretty packed with women at around 1215 am on a Wednesday night, and a handful of guys braving the withering looks of some of the ice queens and Prada princesses there. (Seriously, some of the hotter women there also look like no fun even before they have your money, can't imagine what they'd be like afterwards). You could ignore that percentage of women, though (I'd prefer to be with someone who at least pretends to be interested in you), but what I liked about Thermae was the sheer variety of the JAV-inspired types on offer—sexy office ladies, club girls, hot MILFs, teen Lolitas, mall vixens, etc. Contrary to what some had noted on the board, as a Caucasian (late 40's, not out of shape but also not a muscle bro, decently dressed, not drunk, polite) I didn't find it too hard to make eye contact or get women to acknowledge me; the ones that didn't were also the ones who were ignoring every race, LOL.
I did two walk-arounds and then found a spot in the standing-counter area in the middle, where you can see the action and also be close enough to talk to some of the women on the other side. Got a few smiles and nods, but before I could act on them another woman took the initiative and sat down right next to me. She was rocking the 'office lady on the subway home' look, with a nice top that showed off some impressive breasts but also some "sensible jeans" and white sneakers instead of high heels. She was a bit more full-figured than many of the waifs on offer at Thermae, but had good curves, and unlike a lot of the ladies there with those huge man-made melons stapled onto stick bodies, she was offering some sizable all-natural DD's. She was also friendly and smiling, which was an improvement over half the women there. Even better, it was late, and she quoted me $2 k Baht for short time right off the bat. Can't argue with that, I thought, knowing it was usually twice as much there, so off we went to the hotel. (I was staying just 5 mins away, so easy to walk).
Will spare the details, but we had a good time. It wasn't her first time, that's for sure, but it was a good combo of being with someone who knew what they were doing with someone who was up for most things and wasn't a professional princess worried about getting her makeup smudged, so lots of DFK, no complaints about taking too long, etc. Afterwards I was ready to sleep but she settled into my bed and starting watching Thai news at full volume, adjusted the air-con for her own needs, getting a bit too comfy, really. That was a quick intro to the hazards of bringing girls over LT, LOL, but we had just agreed short time, after all, so after a bit she was out the door to get ready for her hairdresser job the next day. (Is every working girl at night in Asia a hairdresser in the daytime?) Total for about two hours: 2000 baht plus 200 tip, or 2200 total.
A few nights later, after some extremely memorable nights with a girl I hooked up with from a seedy nuru parlor (more on that later), I was back at Thermae, talking with a super chatty girl across the counter-table from me who had the 'girl next door with an active lifestyle' look down. Tan, cute bob cut, etc. Almost chose her but I couldn't figure out how tall she was since we were sitting down on opposite sides (I prefer them short and compact), but then I finally caught the eye of another woman who definitely had the Hot Executive Boss look down, straight out of JAV casting. She came over and wow, just my type body-wise, about 4 ft11, thin but also very nice natural breasts, plus big eyes and cute chin (with those probably store bought and medically installed). She quoted me $3 k for short time, but that seemed sensible (I'm used to paying $160 USD in Southern California for a Depressed Chinese Housewife Paying Off Someone Else's Gambling Debt vibe), and I wasn't going to make either of us lose face by arguing, so off we went. (Her high heels made that 5 min walk a bit longer, though). She was also friendly (and a VERY flexible spinner, haha), but definitely knew what she was doing, had a routine, etc. Still she allowed DFK, DATY, and more, and also wasn't a clock-watcher. She was out the door after about 90 mins, having to "rest to get to the temple in the morning," LOL, but that was fine.
All in all, both Thermae experiences gave me just what I needed: a chance to f**k two pretty hot Thai women without any hassle or worry or rush, for 2000 baht and 3000 baht. (Plus two hundred each tip). Both women were late 20's. I made sure not to push my luck with the (many) younger Thermae girls that look bored out of their skulls, or disdainful of the whole thing and of you in particular; a lot of the girls there are like that, but just as many aren't. I took my time, saw how they were interacting with others, and chose the ones that seemed friendly enough, and that seemed to enjoy talking with me first. No matter what, it was fun just to check out the scene there, and to see all the variety of women on offer. I would recommend anyone to just stop in and sample it, as I hadn't been anywhere like it before. All you need is to buy a drink first, but even a soft drink is about $1 USD.
Finally, a quick word about the freelancers. They are all still congregated on Sukhumvit Rd from Nana Plaza down to Soi Cowboy even (though it thins out a block or so after Thermae), and on the Soi going down from Nana Plaza. The popular look on the street is currently a 'Thai knock-off of a K-Pop zombie' vibe, all plastic noses, plastic chins, weird plastic blobs where their breasts once were, etc etc. Some are women, some are men, as usual. I wasn't attracted to too many but about one girl out of 7 will still have a face that looks more naturally made, and who's less than 40 years old. And evidently Thermae checks ID's to make sure that it's not just women that can get in, but Thai women, so a lot of the women on the street are the Vietnamese, Chinese, Cambodian, Filipina, etc girls that can't get into Thermae. And a surprising # of African girls along the Nana Plaza street.
As always on the street, you're also wading through a lot of 'Lads on Tour' groups of young, shouty drunk bros' looking for trouble, and plenty of dead-eyed over-70 dudes way too wired up on Viagra. Personally it's a bit of a vibe-killer for me, I'm here to find women, not wade through a bunch of dicks to do it, so in that way the currently super-quiet scene of Phnom Penh was more appealing. And no surprise to many, but it's not just the white guys looking for Thai action these days, but just as many (if not more) Chinese, Korean, and Japanese guys, and a big number of Indian and Arab men too. (I know that's not news to many of you, but it was surprising to me that the white punters were actually maybe in the minority).
