Definitely some cute D / H's in HK. Check out Sunday afternoon.
Hah hah. Present company / posters obviously excluded from my last post's gross generalizations.
Had a real Indo stunner in friend's building. Word was that the Irish bloke next door to her was banging her on her day off and whenever his family was away. Only saw her once in Wanchai.

Hotel recommendation?
I will be coming to Hong Kong next month for a few days conference but can't decide where to stay. Any mid budget hotel that bro can recommend? The meeting venue is during day in Pokfulam and I am actually thinking of staying in Kowloon for night fun. Is Kowloon too far for daily travel to Pokfulam and which hotel do you recommend? Free wifi is a plus.
TQ.

The Rendezvous.
You've got to love Hong Kong nights in November. At this time of the year, you can party outside without the sauna factor and your boxer shorts stay dry. The frigid, snow laden winds from Mongolia are nowhere to be seen and short skirts are still practical. I'm aware of this as I wake from my afternoon nap without the usual pool of sweat that I am accustomed to. Sweat or not, its shower time followed by trimming in appropriate areas. Its a special night tonight, so presentation is more relevant than usual.
Cleaned up and wearing fresh linen, I am the classic thirty-something 'gweilo' working in Hong Kong, lightly freckled and still optimistic about the state of the world.
If you were to ask me what I do here, the simple, (and honest) , answer would be that I don't actually know. Most days excepting holidays, I occupy a desk for a few hours a day, join my colleagues for a long lunch, then usually get home by 1 pm. In return, a large amount of money is transferred into my bank account each month, an arrangement which suits me and keeps me in the manner I am accustomed to.
Closing the door to my apartment on the way out, I am greeted by Maydel, the winsome DH who lives with the Chinese family next door. I love the way she rolls the 'are' of 'sir' in her smile filled Hello. She is a simple girl who loves nothing better than to cook for me most Sundays and attend to my needs which are many. She cries when she Skypes her family on my laptop and then drags me to bed for consolation. I take my responsibilities in this area very seriously and she is suitably appreciative. In my home country she would stop the traffic, here she is little more than a slave to a local family whose idea of culture is keeping rabbits inside and singing along to ABBA songs in Cantonese. She blows me a kiss as I head out and with a wink and a smile I'm out the door.
Living close the MTR station has its advantages, although I prefer not to use the disease incubator styled trains unless there are no better options. Tonight as usual, most passengers are sleeping while standing. In a kind of soporific daze, while I on the other hand, keep an eye out for touts and pick pockets. I find myself gazing at the couple across the aisle and realize its one of those awful Indonesian 'partnerships' where one girl makes herself as squat and ugly as possible, while the other ends up looking half decent. I have little time for these 'lesbians of convenience' and judging by the looks of several passengers, my sentiment is shared. I am reminded of Oscar The Grouch babysitting Katy Perry as I give them a last glance and leave the train.
I exit close to the fragrant harbor in an area notorious for several things, including drunk sailors and sardonic expats with ego's matched only by the size of their wallets. Some of them I actually work with, but there is no recognition.
On another occasion I might stop and join them for a few cold ales, but tonight is different, I have a rendezvous to keep and time is short.
To be continued.

Only a small percentage of D / H visit bars in Wanchai on their day off.
You can find willing D / H in all places. Some unexpected.

I have seen local Chinese walk past Indonesian girls on a Sunday while visibly holding their noses. You try that shit in the States with anyone of any race in public and you'll get your ass kicked. And rightly so, I might add.
I love HK but there's something disturbing about the local Chinese treating the DHs like slaves, never mind that most Filipinos may have had some college back home, and never mind that both Filipinos and Indonesians usually speak better English than some of the poorer locals.
Sometimes I feel like, as a white guy over there, I'm taking advantage of lonely DHs on their days off. Other times, I feel like better me than the other guys. At least I treat them decently even if I can't quite commit to just one.
(Though when I marry it will be to an Indonesian or a Filipino girl. Of that, I'm sure.)
I am Chinese American and it is a constant struggle not only in Win Chai, but even in Beijing and Shanghai. WGs all prefers whites and want to avoid Chinese men. This does not apply when it is not a bar setting, like a sauna or KTV, or even outcalls, and in those venues, Asian male is often prefered.
Well, it is a bit of extra work, so I usually just make sure I have my US driver license with me plus a few US credit cards and so far, those things are good enough for all the situation that I have encountered; except that time when I was prevented from entering Amazonia, being told that place was for members only, WTF, and they actually have this small plate prepared on the entrance wall exactly for this execuse to exclude people they deemed not worthy of entering their place, where I actually usually out spend most white guys.
Fillmore
From what others have wrote I guess it happens everywhere. Lets say ok, we do get in and pay our door fine and then have drinks just as the other customers. Its the south american girls who are afraid that we might be cops when approached because we look Chinese.
I know if you don't mind taking some time, talking to them and doing some chit chat, they might relax a bit and realise you're an ok guy. But sometimes, one wants to get out of the club as soon as the girls is ok with you.
Furthermore, as tourists or businessman going through HK, I guess we can't exactly become regulars when we're not there as often as possibly expats working in HK.
Wow. I guess you have not traveled much, in the States.
I've lived all of my 50 years in the US in various states. Are we going to get into a pissing contest now about the US vs. HK? Let's not. This board is about HK.
My point stands that the local Chinese are openly dismissive, rude, and condescending to the DHs even when the DHs are on their day off and out in public.

Being Indonesian we don't think much of Chinese people. Then again we don't treat them well in Indonesia. Not giving them Chinese / Indo's full residency right.
So I suppose you could say there is distrust on both sides.

Its is worse. See how local HK people hold their noses when near Mainland Chinese. They have no time for them.
Can't print what they say in Cantonese.

No Chinese

It actually does not bother me much as I have seen it everywhere all the time. I actually want to take my time in the bar, to feel the girl, to dance with her, to buy more drinks and get both of us slightly drunk, which will usually lead to much better session later on, hahaha. It did become a problem for me, but only once, in Wan Chai, when a Viet girl suddenly left after a few drinks without giving me a reason, and later that night another girl told me she was very worried that I was a cop, as I looked like one, being really fit and such. So maybe I should giving my salsa dancing and gain some weight, hehe.

She's just not into you
Well, forgive me if this is already a dead subject, but the 3K conversation intrigues me. It's happened to me and I thought WTF. Si I brought up the subject with a friend, who happens to be a WL. She laughed and said that's the ask when she doesn't want the guy to say yes!

But sometimes the guy says yes.
But once the W / L find out that you are a traveller the first quote is always high. Find out you are a local. And the quote halves.
This happens in many countries.

Asian are all rascists
So the Chinese don't like the Indonesians, the indonesians don't like the Chinese, the thais have little time for either of them. What's new, are we just discovering this?

Foto of indo girl
Attached one foto of the cute indo girl. She is going home to indonesia at this Saturday.
Anytime I am in Hong kong, I stick to the domestic helpers from phil or indo. Never had to pay more than 500hkd.
Last week I wanted one nice viet girl. She quoted 1500 short time, in the end we settled 800 long time. Just don't fall for the ridiculous prices. Let them know that you know Hong kong for long time, living or working there, and prices go down immediately.
Went to the bars in wanchai, and found this little indonesian domestic helper. She was not the most pretty in there, but she had a smile to die for.
She was 1, 60 m tall, slim, be cups (without bra a bit hanging). Very friendly attitude, so I took her to my nearby hotel.
She did a good job, and after one hour I asked her if short time is ok, and she agreed to go home.
I just gave her 500 hkd + 100 hkd for taxi, which she happily accepted, with big smile in her face.
I was happy, and I really cannot understand that people still pay 2000 for a short time lady, as in so many reports.
Bars with liveband are packed, other bars currently empty.
