Prices
In a matter of 10 month while I was gone the cost for ST (also in one case with the same provider!) has gone up from $15 (except anal; BBBJCIM, everything) to $40? What happened? Did I turn that ugly that quick? I don't think so.
Where did the girls ask for USD $40.00 for ST? What place? When I was in PP 3 years ago, I did come across girls asking from USD $30.00 - 40.00 but you do not have to pay that. I paid between USD $15.00 - 20.00 for ST.

PP Day 1
Hi folks,
I don't post a whole lot, but I figured it's time to give a bit back to this extremely helpful forum. I'm most definitely not a 'Cheap Charlie', but I have an almost pathological need to document where and how I spend my money (although this certainly doesn't result in any savings! I typically round the prices up to the nearest dollar in this report, with the change typically going to the girls.
Arrived from BKK last night. Tourist visa was $30 (not sure why I thought it was supposed to $20, but it was very clearly marked). Bought a $3 Beeline SIM card with 1 GB data and $1 of talk time. Since I'm only staying three nights, this ought to do it. $12 taxi ride to Hotel 108. Room is decent enough. Nice bathroom, great A/C, comfy bed. No view whatsoever, but I guess that also means no noise.
Since I'd been partying pretty hard in BKK, I had very low expectations for last night. I viewed it as more of a recon mission in anticipation of today. Just a quick stroll around to get my bearings. I've been to PP once before, but it was with a GF so it doesn't count.
From all the helpful advice, I decided that I'd check out Cyrcee, then some 104 bars, and then Pontoon. Ventured out at around 22:30 and walked up 130 toward Cyrcee. Stopped in at Fatboy Subs ($5) and then hit Sharky on a whim. $3 rum and Coke and checked the talent. Not a huge selection, but two slim cuties. Being Friday night, I must say I expected the place to be a bit more jumping. However, it was mostly just sleepy old dudes with a scattering of WGs. Moved on to Cyrcee.
As has been reported, the gals here are definitely not shy. As I was asking one girl to give me some Khmer lessons, she told me she was much better at teaching blowjobs. I told her that I really had no intention of learning how to give a BJ, since I am more interested in being on the receiving end of that transaction. There were about 8 girls in the bar at 23:00, and my gal told me it was much better to get there some time before 20:00. We giggled for a bit, bought her a drink, and I settled up ($8).
Walked back to Hotel 108, stopping at a Minimart on the way for morning supplies ($17). Dropped it all off and then walked to 104. Stopped in Colonial. While the live band was putting in some good effort, the guitarist was a nervous wreck and couldn't string two notes together. The girls had no such nerves, as they relentlessly plied me for drinks. I've got absolutely no problem with buying girls drinks when they bring something of interest to the table. This could consist of wit, charm, interesting political views, or simply a washboard stomach and a pair of tits. These girls offered none of that. Simply "Hi, what's your name? Oh, that's nice. Buy me a drink. " I left after one ($4).
Moved on to Air Force Bar. Was immediately thunderstruck by the hottest girl of the night, although she was unfortunately already occupied (and totally shitfaced). This place had a better setup going on, with some hotties going crazy on the bar. There wasn't a big hassle for drinks, but they still just sort of hover around and stare at you until you either talk to them or ask them to leave. A gal's got to make a living, I guess. Found one I liked and offered her a drink. Her uglier 'sister' came over and started with the small talk. She was actually sort of funny, so I got her a drink as well. In fact both girls had a great command of English and I spent the next hour or so playing pool, Connect 4, and getting drunk ($23). I asked (more than once) if ALL girls go with customers and I was assured by both sisters that they do.
Hit up a tuk-tuk and got a $2 ride to Pontoon at about 2:30. $8 entry fee including one drink. Placed was packed, with at least ten smoking hot girls gyrating about. Great atmosphere with some folks obviously having ingested something other than liquor. Parked myself at the bar and eventually found myself chatting to a cutie in a red dress. She was pleasant enough, but I could tell she was having trouble keeping up with my drinking pace, so I moved on after getting her number for later. In all, I paid $18 for our drinks (mostly mine).
Walked over to Heart of Darkness. I can confirm that there's a thriving and throbbing gay scene. At least there was last night. Only a few girls there, but a gaggle of lads dancing and making out on the dance floor. Not my scene, but they seemed to be having a blast. Only had one $4 drink and left.
Took a tuk-tuk back to 108 ($3 this time) and hit the sack. Not sure how much I really learned on my recon mission, but I guess I'll rest up and hit the ground running again this evening.

http://www.pontoonclub.com/pages/contact
It is walking distance, but not at night. At night spend a dollar on a motorbike, no need to pay 2 dollar. Just have a dollar prepared and at arrival, hand over and walk away, no discussions or arguing will safe a lot of dollars. And during the day, for a ride between street 104 and e. G. Walkabout area, I never pay more than 2000 riels.

Hotel 108
I was trying to use google maps to follow your venture. GM shows River 108 Boutique Hotel close to Pontoon club. Is that correct?
If you read the report he said "Took a tuk-tuk back to 108 ($3 this time) and hit the sack. " he was at HoD which is close to Pontoon. Not close to Pontoon. I have found Google maps more wrong for Asian and Latin American countries.

Just a quick note the PC hotel is closed. It went out of business a month or two ago.
Thanks for the info. Is there a better map link?
Come on, it is just right across the street. Do you guys even think about asking some one around instead of pulling out the snazzy smart phones and google maps? Not even 100 meters from Pontoon. And just to set the expectations, HoD is a fun place for sure but not like Pontoon. Pontoon has a nice dance floor and if you want to keep it quiet, can walk to the bar outside.

Random Naga encounter
I'm an occasional visitor to Cambodia and I don't know it well. I had an experience in Naga casino a few weeks ago that I haven't had time to report until now.
I saw one of those slot machines that advertises it hits its jackpot before it reaches a certain amount, and it was already at that amount. This was on the second floor (I think) close to the bar. So I sat down to play and shortly afterward a decent but not really attractive Cambodian (I guess) girl came to sit by me. She said she was my good luck charm. I didn't win the jackpot but I ended up winning a nice smaller jackpot for a few hundred. I had to collect from the cage and she followed me and while I was walking away she says "see I told you I was your good luck charm, you should give me $10. " I said "for $10 you should suck my cock. " I was joking but she said, "ok. " So I took her into a bathroom stall, she dropped to her knees and a few minutes later she swallowed my load. It was late at night and nobody else came into the bathroom.
I didn't want FS from her because I would have had to take her to my room which was not at Naga and didn't want to transport her. Also I have read that 25% or more of the WGs in Cambodia are HIV+. Is that true? It just seems so risky. Transmission from girl to guy via BJ is almost zero, but FS would be riskier. Appreciate any thoughts on this as maybe next time I'd go for FS. (Not in the bathroom though.).
Just a quick note the PC hotel is closed. Hotel was just okay, nothing more. But that was 2 years ago when I stayed there, just before they opened their swimming pool.

Pay up
PB, don't be so harsh. I know Kenny have been I Cambodia many times, se his old FR. I also know many say the prices are going up.
At my last trip was 2 month ago, I paid 20 dollar LT FL from Golden Sorya Mall and 30 dollar plus BF 10 dollar for girls from Hostess bars LT. I was also in Sihanoukville and also here the price was as usual.
Do other ISG-members have some information of going prices in Cambodia? Can Kenny Rogers explain why he paid so much?
AskeAske and all.
Pricing always depends abit on the girl. Sometimes one likes a girl and without getting emotional is willing to pay her price.
As I had said in my post, MaiMai was from LE Cyrcee, and these prices are normal for Cyrcee girls. Yes you CAN bargain them down (done that) but in this case the girl was genuine, friendly and hot. Let's say half of her price was my bonus for NOT giving me a lot of be / s starting from "parents water buffalo died" to sick gramma.
And BTW, I do bargain hard with my Tuk-Tuk drivers, never pay more than 25-30 $ a day (WHOLE day and lotsa distance sometimes) but I do tip 50 $ at the end of the week if they did a good job.
No one here ever tipped a girl whom he liked?
Still not going to marry, LOLZ, but MM is still calling me (and no, she hasn't asked me to send cash). However I'll see her again when I go back, her BJ is beyond belief and at least to me she's worth it.

I will be in P. P. from 19th January for 3 nights. Some German speeking member is this time also there? On 22nd January I plan to go to SHV.

Questions answered
Hi folks,
Awhile ago I had asked a few questions no one could (or would) really answer. Being back in PP I worked out the answers and share them here for whatever its worth:
1) Girl friendly hotels: I have found a link which I think is helpful. I don't think this is a link site-its just info, so I hope the Admin will not mind me sharing it:
http://www.bargirlfriendlyhotels.com/phnom-penh-guest-friendly-hotels/
2) Local brothels: There has been a crackdown on them about 2 years ago. They're gone for good. What still exists is apparently some "secret houses" in the suburbs, but I have no further info on that. Again, the four known "local" places in PP are gone for good.
3) Girls traded off motorbikes backs: NOT advisable. The guys with them demand prepayment (and a hefty one, in excess of usual levels). NEVER pay a girl in PP in advance. Most are nice and honest, but the majority of the exceptions seem to belong to the mototraded type. Especially decline when, say, 50 $ for ST were called up and the guy suddenly lowers to 25 or 30 when you turn away. My advice is: Leave it be.
4) LOCO bar: been there, and worth visiting.
5) PP hotels now start to adopt non-smoking policies, so if you are a smoker ASK beforehand if they have smoking rooms!
All have fun and stay safe.
Kenny.
