Bad experience in recent trip
I was in Medellin for ten days two weeks ago. It was my sixth trip this year. I had little bit bad experience before with different girls mainly from Facebook and people in general like in stores, hotels etc.
In my last trip, I had really very scary traumatic experience with a Chica from Facebook. She looks pretty in picture, referred by her friend, Isa, who upsold herself with below average performance, just too mechanical with no friendly attitude. However, she looked pretty with nice body with big and round back. However, I would not recommend. My friends were also very disappointed with her. Before leaving, she recommended her friend, Valentina Zapata and said she would contact me.
When Zapata initially contacted me, I just ignored her given her friend's performance and cold attitude, but she was persistent. So I finally scheduled a time afternoon at 2 pm. She shows up usually like any other Chica an hour late. We had initial formality and little chat in 5 minutes. Thought she was nice and pretty. Indeed, she was. We negotiated service and amount a day before. She agreed to all. After 5 minutes of chitchat, she jumped into action. In initial negotiation, she agreed to kissing and bbj. But now she refused. I showed her texts what she agreed for. But no use. She did a lame 2-minute BJ that I felt as if john was in a bucket mouth. Felt no contact to john and no tight deep suction whatsoever. Then, we got into session which did not even last for ten minutes. Within thirty-five minutes since she entered, she here goes I am tired, have to leave and my mom is waiting outside. I said I don't if your mom is waiting as we agreed to 90 minutes, so you have to stay. She refused and wanted to leave. I didn't even come.
I told since you spent 35 minutes, so I pay only half of whatever we agreed. That's it!! It flipped her out. She started shouting and screaming very loud. I tried to calm her down, but she wouldn't back down. She threatened to call the police. I said OK, call the police. I had never seen such a rage before. She was totally different person as if she was possessed. She kept screaming very loud and suddenly grabbed my brand-new phone and about to smash it to the floor, I grabbed her hand to stop it. Then, least expected, she very powerfully hit me on my face with the phone. I was in totally shock. It was really very powerful blow. I was about to hit her back, luckily my friends warned me before never ever hit or have a fight with girls or guys in Colombia that can put you in real trouble. As I had no choice, I tried to calm her down by agreeing to pay whatever we agreed before. I did not know what to do. I left the money on the table. She sat there for five minutes, grabbed the money and left.

She seems to be bipolar. Probably she had drugs or something before coming. I would avoid and wouldn't recommend.
Other bad experience is, never ever order Domino's pizza with a credit card using Rappi. My friend and I ordered pizza around 8 pm using Rappi app. Rappi says delivery is handled by Pizza store itself. There was no update on the progress. It says 'in progress' on app. We waited patiently almost two hours then decided to go to bed starving. Next day, I get a message from Domino's on my phone, pizza has been delivered. Checked at front desk if delivered there but not.
Domino's used to take cash, not anymore. I heard front desk, same thing happened to another customer. Store takes orders with your card and delivered or sold to someone. So, unless it is a 'cash' and order managed by Rappi, I would not use Dominos anymore.
Better exchange rate for Canadian Dollar vs US?
During my recent trip, I was shocked to receive just 4000 COP from cambios in Unicentro mall whereas rate on [URL]Xe.com[/URL] was around 4485. I had expected 4200 or so. Was told that rate was damn low because it was a Sunday. Hmmmmmm, whatever. Never exchange money on Sundays.
Next day, cambios at Exito and Unicentro offered 4100. Still quite low so I used davivenda ATM. Got about 152000 COP for $460 CAD plus bank tried to hit me with a $5 CAD charge later on. This was a bit better than what I would have received at unicentro. About $475 CAD so saved fifteen bucks or so.
However, what I am noticing is that while you get only 4100 or so COPs for a USD, the rate at cambios seems to be better for Canadian dollar (around 3200-3300).
Has anyone else noticed this?

I've been in some similar situations where a Chica will not do what was agreed to or spend the time agreed to, and flip out, but never had one get physically violent with me. Albeit some may not agree with this, but you did the right thing by just paying her the full amount as promised to get her out. The last thing you want is a third party getting involved.
My only suggestion would be when a Chica flips out, threatens to call the Police, etc. Do not pay them in the room. Instead, tell them you are going to pay them what you agreed to, have the money in your hand, and upon exiting the building hand them the money. The reason I suggest this is because the Chica may try to say you didn't pay her what you agreed to if a third party gets involved, or demand more in the room.
You always want to diffuse the situation, versus escalate it when you have a "psycho" chica your dealing with, and paying her the full amount to leave was the right call, albeit there may be some other board members that don't agree with this.
