That's all. I think you are confusing capitalism with markets. Markets can exist under socialism too for example; they are not a feature that is unique to capitalism.

Think of it like this. Socialism would shift the ownership of property to the public, rather than private individuals. So a company would be owned by the workers, not by some rich priveleged AR $ehole that does nothing but suck and leech off its workers. So the benefits of the business would accrue to the workers, not to someone that just happened to be born w a silver spoon in their mouths. So more people would share in the welath, more people could send their kids to school etc. So your anecdote about school is nothing but heart warming.

It is pretty obvious you have never owned a business before. Businesses fail. Owners do not get to punch out at 5 PM like workers do and work day and night if they are to be successful. And in most cases, you see owners as managers.
