Then go and visit Havanna Cafe in Greenbelt3. It is a well set bar with a band and a mix of people. There you find also company for your one and only night in Manila. Even easier would be going to Burgos street and see the talent at the bar Rogues which is one of the only few decent bars there. But you don't like the bar scene!

I do not like to go to bars for pick up. What I would prefer is a no hassle connection with a good looking chick at my hotel . I do not want to get ripped off, but money is not a big consideration. For me, one time every now and then, I am willing to pay (up to 6000 p). But I would like quality and very good service.
I would welcome any recommendation. I do not know yet where I would be staying, but since I have only one night and one day, and then back to the Airport for flying home, I could use help with that part too.

Having been all over Makati, Malete, Edsa, etc. plus Angeles, I have to admit, I'm in love with P. Bugos. The quality and selection is quite good -- especially if you don't have much time. Havana is good if you like the chase, but in the end you will probably spend as much barfining your top selection at one of the Burgos clubs. If you PM me, I can give you some numbers, but it's hard to know exactly what you like. Go pick for yourself and you won't waste time. There are also some decent hotels crawling distance from the action. Have fun.

Was headed through Greenbelt 3 heading for one of the japanese KTVs on Pasay Road. That night to meet up with a DIA girl working as a hostess there. Turned out to be a bust, nice girl, but to douhan her would be a longer-term project than I had time for. First time in Manila. I took the yellow cab as instructed. Came to CityState Tower Hotel in Ermita. The driver ran the meter and the total was 182 pesos.

My wingman and I walked to Robinson's Mall about 1pm. Everything (hotel, U.S. Embassy, Robinson's, Amazonia, Manila Bay Cafe) is much closer together than I had anticipated from reading reports and looking at maps. It's like everything is 1 block apart. Also Robinson's is much bigger than I expected. From the outside it looks pretty small but when you get inside you wonder where all the space came from. It was damn huge in the inside. If I remember correctly there are four levels. We were not there on the bottom floor any longer than 5 minutes when a FL tried to latch on to me. She was actually pretty decent but I wanted to see all of my options before I made any decisions.

We went up to the second floor of the mall and posted up in front of a railing that overlooked the bottom floor. Nothing was happening. There seemed to be a bunch of teenagers and a bunch of families. We went back downstairs and I bought a Smart phone card for 100 pesos that came with 1 peso of credit. I also charged up with an additional 100 pesos. I flirted with the girl who helped me but there was nothing jumping off. She informed me that with Smart 7.5 pesos of credit is used for each minute talked. She also said that if I did not add credits for 6 months then the number would be recycled.

We did not feel any action at Robinson's so we decided to go to walk up to Baywalk. This was only two blocks away. Three blocks at the most. Whoever compared it to Beach Road in Pattaya gets the gas face. This place absolutely sucked and should never be used in the same paragraph as Beach Road. We knew we were there when we smelled it. It smelled like raw sewage. It was god awful. And looking over the banister onto where the beach should have been was absolutely atrocious. There was more garbage and trash than one could imagine. It was so bad that I refused to even take a picture of it. And to top things off there were 3 or 4 kids playing in the water. Realistically they are prime candidates for some sort of disease for being in that infested water. As far as hobbying is concerned, there was no action so we decided to head to Amazonia because we had seen it earlier when we came from Robinson's. It was maybe 4:30pm.

On the way to Amazonia we saw Manila Bay Cafe so we decided to step in. We picked the table next to the men's restroom and ordered 2 SMLs. There were plenty around but only 2 or 3 that I would actually do. The one that was on the top of my list was hanging around with some Korean guys. As soon as we sat down one girl latched on to my wingman. He asked her a series of questions. One of the questions was what was her job. I was surprised at her answer of "freelance" because I have never heard a working girl use the term before. My wingman inquired about the prices and she told him 1000 for ST. We sat around MBC for about an hour before we decided to move on and check out Edsa.

We didn't realize how much traffic there was right out of the starting block. It took us at least 20 minutes to get off of MH del Pilar. Of course I was not about to tell the driver that it was my first time in Manila so I did my usual act. He wanted to divert us to some casas so I asked the price for the SPs. He started at 4,500 pesos. He said that there would be 45 girls and we could take our pick and she would stay with us until the next day. I asked him was he out of his mind. He quickly changed the price to 3,500. Again I told him that we just wanted to go to Edsa.

It was taking us a while to arrive. Where did he pull up to anyway? Casa #1. It was located at the corner of Bautista St. and Casino St. We went inside and he was right. There were about 45 women there. We sat on the sofas and gawked at the women. It reminded me of the fuck parlors in Thailand where you go in, sit on the couch and pick a girl out. Thinking of 3500 pesos we did not stay long. From there he drove us to Edsa.

It was extremely early (6pm) and there was no one in some of the bars. I think Firehouse had a couple of patrons inside. We went into another and none of the girls were to our liking. Give me a break.

We went back outside where our same taxi guy was waiting for us. We hopped in and he took us to Casa # located at 2061 Edison. I only saw one that I liked and the papasan said it would be 3000. We left there and told the driver. He said that he could get it for 2500 if we would like. We counter with 2000. He said he was pretty sure they would not go for that.

We decided to go back to the first casa. On the way there we tapped the driver for info. He said that if he was a local monger then he would go to Quezon Ave and get the SWs for 700 pesos. But because we are foreigners the same girls would cost us double or 1500 pesos. He recommended that we go to Puerto Galera or AC for much cheaper prices.

We went back into Casa #1 and chose our girls. The papasan said that we could keep them until well into the next morning. US$60 for over 12 hours is a great deal. He called the girls over whom we had chosen. Unfortunately my first one did not pass the interview and neither did my second choice. The only question I asked them was what they liked to do. The question stomped both of them. The first one said, "everything." What a crock of shit. The second one had no idea what she liked to do. As far as my wingman, his girl told him that if he was going to want more than 2 pops then he needed to bring an additional girl. We were out of that place.

The driver took us to Casa #3. 3879 Araro with Emilia. We knocked but nobody came to the door. We entered and nobody was around. We yelled but nobody came to the front. We concluded that there was nobody at the casa. We left and the driver dropped us off at Amazonia. The meter read about 220 but we gave him 200 each for the great time and info.

We went into Amazonia but nothing was happening. It was about 7:30. The girls inside said that things do not start happening until after 9pm. We left out some touts grabbed a hold of us. They took us to a casa which was about one block from MBC and on the same side of the street. There were a couple of nice ones but I told the mamasan that I wanted her and my wingman wanted the other mamasan. The girls all laughed. I told the mamasan that she needed to lead by example. They would not go for it so we left. The young touts were going to take us to another casa but when I found out it was about 4 blocks away I refused and walked back towards MBC.

This is probably the worse place I have been as far as people trying to get free money from you. It was like we were the pied piper. We ducked into MBC for a few minutes to get rid of them.
